Chapter 119

Whatever the case was, I was just glad that my pups finally could grow around their own kind. It had been a week since the reveal. I even found that my pups had transformed into their werewolf form trying to imitate the other kids. I should call them pups now shouldn't I? It was only proper now that I have seen their beast form.

Today was a busy day back at Eddy's. On other days, Jeremiah would be early when he chose to pick me up that day. We would go leave the pups back at his parents were all grandpups would all gather while they wait for their parents to be back to pick them up. It was a whole daycare system.

Genuinely, the older Mrs. Gregory seemed to like having the company at home. She looked a very healthy woman whom in her prime had the most male attention. No wonder she landed herself and alpha looking man.

And to think that the family was not in any pack but liked helping werewolves in need around the city still sounded like a pack to me. but I wasn't anyone to say anything.

Today unfortunately wasn't that day. He didn't come today so the pups were back with Dolly. This woman was a life saver. With her I was sure not to worry about anything needed to take care of my pups. Although she saw it strange how a three month old child should want to learn how to walk right away.

I didn't know how to respond to her so I dodged it. I know in the future it was going to come up again because they weren't done surprising her yet. But that time was going to be then and whatever answer I answer shall be that.

Working through table to table taking order and delivering orders. It was indeed a busy day. The crowd was lively and chatty today so there were sounds of soft murmuring coming from the diner as conversations went on with the patrons.

Moira seems tired too. The day has been long and slow and on top of that busy. Being on your feet this long should be considered a crime. It wasn't right, I was just glad that we weren't in summer where the sun would be blazing its best at this time. sweaty didn't do it for me. maybe only when I was sweating along side on another person. A particular person.

But I wasn't getting this man, I left him without telling him I left. I just hoped he was happy where ever he was. But I would be a liar if I said this statement is a hundred percent true. It isn't. In fact, it gave me great joy to think the witch is torturing him. He deserves it.

Time goes by slowly and before I know it, Jeremiah is coming in for his coffee. Mr. Coffee as Moira liked to say. At this point I stopped going over to his table to ask about his order. I respectfully take myself to the kitchen and get him his usual. Black coffee.

Getting to his table. I put the mug down and about to leave. He reaches out and grabs my arm to stop me. out of reflex I eye his hand on my wrist and watch him drop it.

"I just wanted to order this with a cranberry muffin." He says while flashing me his perfect teeth. Was he trying to bling people with that king of smile? This was the only way it made sense. He was conspiring to turn everyone blind with a smile like that.

"Right away" I answer in the most waiter way I could. The energy between me and him had shifted that day he let me know that the whole family were werewolves. since that day he had looked at me in a certain way that just told of hunger. I should know this because I was subjected to an Alpha's lust. No to Aiden's lust.

Even when we were not together, I was proud to say that Aiden had a very healthy libido. Only that it was not directed at me, I have been feeling lonely and unsatisfied.

Ever since getting married to the Alpha, I have not gone this long without mating. I had needs too, needs my husband failed to satisfy because he was too busy in another's skirt. Must be nice to be able to change heart as fast as you liked to. If I had the will to change my feelings, I would have shut it off before I started to analyze situation.

Back with the muffin, I drop it off and out of the way. Suddenly being around him did things to me, sent shock waves up my spine. No I was not going to risk it. Besides, I would not want to confuse the pups by changing their father.

The clock indicates the end of my shift and I am just happy that I get to go home and put up my legs. It was tempting to do it in his chic sports car, but I was not comfortable with him in that way so I kept my manners.

Home was a short ride home given the right resources, in this case, fast car. We get the pups and play for a bit. Tonight I was cooking. I think I got sick of eating the same takeout food that it just became normal to cook. And by the looks of it, Jeremiah loved eating the food prepared for me.

With the pups he plays around with them till they pass out on the sofa and couldn't even take a bite of the food I am making. They must have been very tired.

After putting them to bed, I dish out our food and open a wine bottle that he had brought along with him some day.
