Chapter 184
Asher narrowed his gaze at her, not necessarily surprised by her presence in his home, but rather, enraged by it.
“Who the fuck are you?” he asked, raising his hand—not to strike her, but to grab at her throat. Cecilia caught him by the wrist and his strength faded in a moment of hesitation as she brought his finger down her body, pressing them between her legs.
“You don’t remember me?” she asked, looking up into his forest eyes. Asher looked perplexed, his brows furrowing as she reached up and placed a hand against his cheek. “Remember me,” Cecilia said. “Do you know who I am?”
His eyes traced her face as she felt his fingers move between her legs. “An Omega slut looking for a quick fuck,” Asher snarled low in her ear. He was angry, but his rage was nothing when compared to the power of their pheromones. Cecilia felt herself ignited and she could tell the influence had struck him, too. His fingers were moved so slowly that Cecilia was shocked when they came out from between her legs. When he turned her away from him and pushed her up against the shower wall.
Cecilia gasped as she felt him position there between her legs—the heat of him radiating through her.
“W-wait,” she panted, wanting only to grind back against him.
Asher snatched her under the jaw and pulled her back against his chest, forcing her to look at him. “You crawl naked into my shower and you tell me to wait? Tell me who you are.”
Cecilia couldn’t move, his strength on her ruthless. “Someone who loves you,” she managed.
“Bullshit,” Asher seethed. He reached around her, turning on the water until the slightly too-hot spray hit Cecilia’s skin with a pleasant burn. “No one loves me,” he grumbled low in her ear.
He shoved into her. Cecilia reached back, clawing at his hip with a yelp. “I…do—” she struggled, pressing a palm flat against the shower wall as he moved, pulling her back against him as he pushed his hips forward. The heat of the shower melted against her skin—the pleasure of him shooting through her like jolts of electricity. “Ash—”
“Don’t say my name,” Asher snarled, his fingers squeezing into her cheek.
“Sir…” Cecilia whimpered. She had hoped that her body could entice his memory, but it didn’t seem to be doing anything but enraging him more. He let go of her jaw and shoved her forward, forcing her to bend and grip the wall for support.
“Is this what you came here for, you little slut?” Asher asked. The sound of his voice pulled at something in Cecilia. God…was she enjoying this? Being degraded this way? She couldn’t deny the warm drips running down her thighs as that pleasure shot through her again and again and again. As Asher took a fistful of her hair and pulled, slamming forward against her until Cecilia couldn’t take any more.
Her legs trembled as she came with a cry, those pleasant waves pulling through her again and again. And when she finished, her body trembling around him, Asher let her go. She slumped naked to the shower floor, her body shaking erratically. He had been so rough—even for Asher. Something about it was just…too good.
“Get up on your fucking knees,” he ordered her.
Cecilia scrambled to obey, kneeling there on the shower floor, taking his erection into her hand. After a few gentle strokes, she pushed him into her mouth, wincing as Asher clawed at her hair, pulling it tight in his fist. He seemed taken aback by her the moment she began to suck, eagerly bobbing her head—seeking the taste of him on release. “Aren’t you something?” he muttered, his hips moving forward subtly every time Cecilia took him in deep. When he wanted more, he pushed into her throat, held her there by the back of her head until she couldn’t handle the gag clawing its way out of her.
She pulled back with a gasp, saliva stringing from her mouth, her fingers working up and down the length of him.
“I didn’t say stop,” he muttered. Cecilia hardly managed a gasp of air before he forced himself into her mouth again. She sucked steadily, moving her head in that way he’d taught her, twisting him gently at the base with her palm. Asher tilted his head back with a gruff exhale. He wouldn’t admit it—probably wouldn’t even make a sound, but Cecilia could tell it felt good. That she was doing well. She took the pride in and upped her game, clutching him by the hips as she sucked him in a little harder, her cheeks hollowing, her fingers digging into her skin.
Then, suddenly, Asher was holding her still by her hair. Pushing into her with slow, precise thrusts that struck her deep in the back of the throat. When she felt him explode, she nearly tore back with a cough. He wouldn’t allow her to move, though. Not until he was buried in deep. Then he unleashed, his seed pouring down her throat, bittering her mouth.
She gagged and pulled back, coughing, the taste of him flooding her tongue. And when it was enough—when she’d swallowed it all—Cecilia held him to her lips and licked him clean, her gaze on his low, hooded eyes the entire time.
“Fuck,” she heard him say, his fingers loosening around her hair. When he was finished he slumped back against the wall, looking wasted and dizzy. “You can get out now,” he grunted.
Cecilia hesitated, the taste of him still fresh in her mouth. She stood up, letting the water soak her down. She had really hoped that seducing him would trigger something—awake something in him. But he’d just used her. He still didn’t remember.
Cecilia took his hands and placed one on her breast. “How do you not remember me?”
“Don’t know what you’re talking about,” Asher grunted, turning off the water. “Get out of my apartment.”
“Asher, it’s me.” She clasped him by the cheeks and leaned up to kiss him. “Please remember me.”
Asher tore back. He ripped the towel from the shower rod an wrapped it around his waist, stepping out of the shower. “Towels are in the cupboard,” he said. “Get the fuck out.”
Cecilia felt her heart crack. How could someone she loved so much use her like this? Forget her like this?
She couldn’t understand. She followed after him. “Asher—”
He turned and slapped her. Cecilia was so shocked, she hadn’t realized he’d done it until she heard the sound. Felt the terrible stinging on her cheek. She froze there, touching the skin, feeling her heartbeat pulse in her ears.
“I said get out.”
Tears stung Cecilia’s eyes. She looked up at him, but she couldn’t see the Asher she knew. Just the one she’d met ages ago. The one who hated her more than anyone for no reason in particular. Her brows narrowed at him, a tear slipping down her cheek. “I know everything about you!” she shouted. “I know you love spicy food and curry is your favorite meal. I know your favorite drink is scotch. I know about that secret little room of yours.”
Asher scoffed. “Fucking stalk—”
“I know you’re secretly in love with your best friend since middle school,” Cecilia spat, the tears dripping down her face.
Asher’s eyes widened. He froze there, the shock in his eyes quickly dissolving into something else. Hatred. Disgust. “I don’t know who the fuck you are, but get the hell out. Now!”
The sound of his voice jolted Cecilia. She could never recall a time when he’d spoken to her like that. She gathered her clothes and shoved them on, not caring to dry herself off first. Then she hurried out of his apartment.
It was a while before her driver could arrive, so Cecilia paced the street, dripping wet, the welt on her face still burning. As much as Asher hated her before, he had never struck her like this. No one ever had.
It was too much. She squatted to the ground and cried, unable to gather herself by the time the driver arrived. He hurried out of the car to help her.
“Ma’am, are you okay?” he asked.
Cecilia couldn’t speak. She allowed him to help her into the back of the car, and when he asked what had happened, she simply said, “Take me home.”
The ride back felt much shorter and Cecilia had no words—no hope left in her as she entered the mansion. The others had been sitting at the dining room table, eating dinner that the housekeepers prepared. They all looked up the moment Cecilia stepped inside.
The moment he saw the hand-mark on her face, Ryan shot out of his seat. “I’m going to fucking kill him.”
He started for the door, but Cecilia put herself in his way before he could reach it. “Ryan, stop.”
“I don’t care if that piece of shit is concussed, he knows better than to lay a hand on—”
“Just stop,” Cecilia muttered. Ryan hesitated at the sound of her voice and as he stood there, Cecilia sunk into his chest.
She didn’t want him to go anywhere. She just wanted his arms around her.
Ryan let out a deep sigh, his temper slowly easing. His fingers ran through her wet hair and he held her close against him.
“Come on,” he muttered. “Let’s go get you warm.”
