9\. He loves babies. What?
Having stormed annoyingly to her room she slammed the door behind her. All that happened in the kitchen was replaying in her head.
His touches made her ill. She felt disgusted. It disgusts her when any other men touch her, Aurora just feels like killing them.
The males in the wolf's dimension are always horny and aggressive. They want females for sex like a kid desires a toy.
And Peter Dursley, there are no decent words in the dictionary that one can use for him! He's a bloody womaniser… bigger than alpha Damien.
Aurora bit her tongue, coz there's no one as heartless as alpha Damien.
But Peter… he was the worst and on the lowest position in her perspective.
He thought he could manipulate her. He thought he would succeed in it too. Never!! There's no way anyone would ever succeed in doing that.
Well Aura knows no one can compete with Alpha Damien as he is one of his kind. She always wished to get closer to him, hence she doesn't regret giving herself to him. He is a man who has no love for the girls he sleeps with and she knew it beforehand, still she took her chances, leaving no area for regret.
'Huhh!' She closed her eyes. Her heart was beating at an unexpected rate again.
She attempted to forget about all her miseries, unfortunately her heart skipped a beat again as her mouth tasted sour and stomach churned. She broke into the washroom and threw out in the wash basin. The pregnancy symptoms were killing her.
Aurora regretted being carried away during that night. Only if she had asked him to take protection, her situation would have been different.
She came out of the room. Her face was crimson and bags under her eyes. She was already feeling sick and her negative thinking added to her miseries.
'What will I tell my baby? That his father was an Alpha playboy so I was forced to keep the news from him? Gosh! I don't know what to do, please show me some way.' Aura settled in the bed and palmsd her face.
Tears made their way through her eyes as the happenings of that bloody video came rushing to her mind. She wanted to scream, shout, cry out loud but she was helpless. She was helpless because she should not be feeling this.
She was freaking pregnant and the father of her baby was unaware of it. On top of that, watching him enjoy his sex life with other women hurt her.
Ohh that she had the guts to tell him about their baby!
But she couldn't. It's not possible.
Aurora adjusted herself in the bed and rested her head on the pillow. She was craving for his touch. No matter how much she tried to stay away from him, his thoughts attracted her like a magnet. Resisting him was really hard.
Now she realized why all those models and actresses fell in love with him because she was a member of the same club now.
Alpha Damien is beautiful. No girl could stay away from him for a long time. Maybe that's why he has many rivals.
'Damien Hunter, I wish I never fell for you.' A sigh escaped her mouth.
She was dreaming about him only when her cell phone buzzed.
Aurora looked at her phone on the table near the bedside and picked it up. Shudder coursed through her when she saw the a message notification.
It was from Alpha saying that:
'Come to my room Ms. Collins, I need your help.'
A knot of discomfort desperately tightened in her stomach, increasing her remorse. So now she was Ms. Collins to him. No Aura, no Aurora... But Ms. Collins. Great, this was the worst way she could be hurt.
Although her eyes moistened, she took a shallow breath and got up, adjusted her dress properly, glanced at herself in the mirror and settled her hair before brushing out of the door with her cellphone in hand.
'He wants to maintain a professional relationship like before between us, I shall follow up with him.' She said with a look of exasperation and frustration. The alpha was driving her crazy.
Never mind, when she was three steps away from his door, she halted and took a deep breath. The flashback of their heavenly make outs crossing her mind.
Aurora knocked at the door. "Come in" and received a hollow reply. When she set the partition ajar, overwhelmed gasps erupted from her mouth.
Alpha Damien was surrounded by many toys.
They were everywhere on the bed and he stood at the side with one of them in his hand. It was a cute tiny pink teddy bear which fitted in his arm like his cellphone.
Aura assumed those toys were bought by him for their baby, but then she maintained her excitement given that she never told him of her pregnancy. So it was obvious it was not for their baby.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Alpha?" She shuffled her feet ahead.
As she reached near him, he lifted his face while his eyes twinkled happily.
"Ohh Aura, I'm glad you came." fidgeting with the toys he smiled, making her adore him.
He looked so lovely with those toys. Aurora can picture him kneeling near the cradle of their baby with toys, trying to pamper him?
She chuckled at her own thoughts, turning the alpha annoyed.
"Will you please do the honors of helping me or you've decided to chuckle at my condition." She heard him say sternly, his face had an annoying frown.
She nodded positively and approached toys while her expressions suddenly changed.
"What are these toys for, Alpha Damien?" Aurora asked, she was curious to know how on earth such a handsome alpha had so many cute toys in his room?
Was he planning a baby with any of his girlfriends? No way, Aura slapped her brain for being a critical thing. If that happened then her baby… she couldn't go to that extent of miserable assumptions.
Anyway, Damien rolled his eyes with a defeated sigh as though her question irked him. He put the little stuffed thing on the bed and faced her.
"It's obvious Aura that I've not purchased them for my own sake, it's for my client's baby." her mouth formed an O in comprehension.
"Actually one of my employees, Mr. Wood's wife gave birth to a cute baby girl three days back. He has organised a small party for the same and I thought these toys would be a good present for that little one."
He paused for a while and took the little teddy in his hold again. Alpha Damien looked adorable when he caressed the tiny teddy bear. He bought it near his cheek and rubbed it on his stubbled jaw and closed his eyes.
"I am so happy for him. He's become a father, Aura. A father... Can you believe it?" he spoke softly while Aura froze in her spot, her eyes staring at him in shock.
"He belongs to the omega cast and can't afford everything for his daughter so I thought to help him around. I have decided to donate a piece of my land under her name as well. And why not, after all he's my best employee and I want his daughter to live a happy and joyful life. "
Aurora stared at him in amusement. His eyes held curious emotion that hitched her heart beats. There was longing and a desire towards the baby. She's never seen him so happy and curious before. The way he described the baby, she could see his feelings. He likes children. He loves them.
Gosh, this was the biggest shock for today!
'I was thinking of not telling him about my pregnancy and going away from his life forever. I didn't know behind the mask of a tough alpha, he was a sweetheart who loved kids.' Aurora could hardly conceal her delight.
"I didn't know you loved... Uh, you loved kids, alpha." her veins were overflowing with joy.
She really had no idea about it. Only if she had then she'd have never thought of parting this baby from his father before his birth.
Damien's eyes shot up at her face and a muscle around his jaw rippled, "Loved kids? I don't just love kids, I can die for them Aura."
She wanted to clear his doubt and let him know how much she respected his feelings but he resumed, "Kids are little angels that the moon goddess sends in our lives. You want to know what I like about them more?"
"I love their tiny fists. The pink shade of their infant skin. I love when they cry 'waah waah' on top of their little lungs, it sounds so melodious. I love when they are draped in blankets like bundles. I love their snores. I love everything about babies. I wish to have mine pretty soon." He spoke with emotions that said his utmost love for babies. The expressions that none can ever notice were beyond what he was showing.
"You really do?" Aurora was still in a daze if what she heard was true.
Alpha raised his brow while he pulled her by the wrist, making her land on his chest.
"You think I am joking? He remarked rubbing his thumb on her jawline.
" I... I didn't mean that, Alpha, I just,"
"You just what, Aura!" He exclaimed, taking his thumb under her chin then on her collar bone.
"I am amazed to see this shade of yours. I didn't know that the playboy alpha could also have emotions like that of a father." It was a sarcasm she found difficult to control.
