Chapter 59 His allegations

Chapter 59 His allegations
59\. His allegations

"Aurora?" The old Housekeeper tore herself away with a choking sob as she scurried all the way towards Aurora, who was trying to keep herself up by the support of the wall.

"Baby, you're awake? Umm, we were talking about some business." Madam Martha made an excuse but little did she know Aura had heard everything.

She didn't express any feelings on her face. All the while her eyes gawked at the front, at him. Anxiety and sliver of tension coursed through her. Damien never looked at her with such disgusted gaze. She only heard some bits of his aggressive pour out but she knew he was mad at something.

"Let's go back to your room, honey." Aura took a step forward, towards Damien, against her mother's insistence.

She took baby steps and tried to walk carefully toward him but her foot tripped. Before she could fall, Aurora balanced her petite frame. Madam Martha quickly ran to her and held her by her waist.

"Are you okay, Aurora?" Madam Martha spoke out of concern.

Aurora gestured to her Ma with her hand and freed herself. Anyhow she reached him taking small steps and stood in front of him. Face to face.

Silence prevailed in the atmosphere. Neither of them uttered a phrase or a single word. Their eyes were igniting fire of passion, love and obviously pain and slight betrayal.

"So you think I'm a characterless whre???" Aurora whispered to herself consciously more than inquiring to him.

"We were talking about something else, baby." The old Housekeeper tried to interrupt her only to be stopped by Aura's palm.

"I heard him, Ma. I want to talk to Damien. Just him." She shut her up and again turned to face him.

"Tell me, Damien. You think that I'm characterless, right? Because I crossed my limits and devoted my body to you before marriage." Her dizzy eyes blinked. It was as if she was on the verge of passing out but anyhow she persisted. Those flashing tears glistened like glitters on the surface of water in an ocean.

Aura didn't exactly listen to him except for the last statement. She assumed he accused her because of her pregnancy and that the baby was not his but someone else's. She was clueless about the pictures.

"My only mistake was that I loved you, right?" She spoke with a painful sarcastic smile like she was cursing herself for falling for him.

"Just because I slipped into your bed and let you ravish me… it made me a whre. Because I left myself at your mercy… you call me characterless." She spoke, unknowingly hitting the wrong chords of his heart.

Damien lost his temper. He grunted from deep in his chest and caught her elbow.

"I will have to appreciate your guts, Ms. Collins." Mockery glided from the tip of his tongue, causing her throat to tighten. He had never addressed her by her full name, let alone be formal and use her surname.

Another painful smile curved the corner of her lips as she let her tears loose. This was not the Damien she loved. Not her Damien at all who treated her like a soft petal of a newly bloomed flower. This Damien's hold was scorching like heated iron on her fragile tender skin.

"You cheated on me as a lover… yet you have the courage to act innocent." He laughed dangerously, making her shoulders shrink.

She dared to cheat on him and had the guts to face him with so much confidence as though she was innocent and he was to be blamed. She insulted his love, his needs and now she was talking like he was the one who ruined them.

"I offered everything I had to you… leaving myself at your mercy." Aura whispered. A tear escaped her left eye. "Yet this is what I get for my loyalty."

Alpha Damien had been staring in her eyes. His searing stare held her until he turned his face to let out a cunning laugh.

"That should be my line. Isn't it, Miss Martha?" He punched the words out, pulsating anger coming with them.

"Why don't you tell your daughter to shut her bloody mouth up? She doesn't get to speak after what she did to me." He raised a hand and ran them through his hair in order to control his rage.

Madam Martha got cognizant of her existence. She was still until Damien reminded her of her presence between them. She immediately pushed her tears away from her cheekbones and approached Aurora, "Baby, this is not the correct time to talk with him. Please let's just go inside."

"No, I will not go anywhere. I want him to tell me how it counts as cheating? How can he even call me characterless." Aura jerked her hand free from Madam Martha's hold.

She refused to leave even when her Ma whispered various things in her ear. The old woman attempted to bring it to her notice that she had no idea about Damien's reasons for his rude humiliating comments, but Aura won't listen. She stood confident and determined on her ground as she turned to look in his dark burning eyes with her raining blues.

Alpha Damien smiled. This was, no doubt, why he loved her. Her fury. She was innocent from the outside but tough from the inside. A fragile kitten had a determination of furnaced iron.

It was a shame he couldn't fulfill her sexual needs and she turned to other men. He thought.

There was only one thing he desired to do— pull her closer by the back of her neck and smash his lips on hers in a punishing kiss. He wanted to run his hands through her hair and go down to her chest to pinch at her pebbled npples he could see through the gown she was still wearing. A punishing hold was all he wanted to graze her with for allowing other men to touch her body he assumed was his eternal possession.

"How could I not look through your fake innocence, Aura?" Damien scoffed, thinking that nothing would hurt her more than words.

Even then he was addressing her as Aura, like he still had authority. He tried to sound rude and not let her name touch his tongue, he just failed. It has become a habit. She has become a habit. Damien's heart cried as he realized it all over again— the pictures as well as her nakedness in Peter's bed.

"You have been fooling me for three long years and I couldn't see it." He came forward, leaning his face down to grit his teeth at her mouth for her to see. "Why don't you tell me about the spells you used to keep me occupied? It'll be useful to deal with the high-tech rogues and enemies in the pack. You really took me by surprise, Aura, I can't believe I have been in a spell of your masked innocence. You are a great actor."

"You're such a jerk, Damien Hunter?" Aurora was taken aback.

She tried to grab his collars but Madam Martha pulled her back, "You don't know nothing, Aurora. Please don't do anything you will regret later. Please, I beg you. Both of you, please stop it."

It was waved off with a laugh by the Alpha. He rolled his teary burning eyes as from the corner he stole glances of that woman he once couldn't see in tears. She was flustered red. Her eyes measured every inch of his face as if trying to figure out if it was him.

Indeed, it was him, but just like her, he cannot believe their present.

"I guess you better take your trained weapon back to her chambers, Ms. Trainer. Looks like she still does not know anything about this." He said as he looked at her flicking eyes.

He was concerned but won't let it project. Above all he was just impressed by the facade she had put on. She was acting totally oblivion.

The air was turning stale and burning hot. Damien could not breathe around her. He spun around to leave. He took a few steps towards the exit but a weak delicate hold restrained his movements. As he turned around, a hard blow met with his cheek.

Stunned, he growled only to grit his teeth in anger at her. It was her. With her chest going up and down and eyes raining crazily, she glared at him. Her hand trembled as if she touched boiling water however its blow stung his cheek.

"I feel wasted. I feel my skin burning in disgust. You want to know why?" She caught his collars. "Because I thought you'd be my eternal life partner. I thought you respect me and other women. I was wrong. You are nothing more than a womanizer. I can see why your mother abandoned you as a kid."

Damien's eyes widened while Madam Martha gasped. "She must have seen through your face. She must have seen you turning into a fcker like your downgraded father." Aurora trembled violently as she exerted more pressure on his collars.

"All the alphas are hungry horny perverts. I wonder why I didn't ignore it when it came to you." She shook her head.

In reflex to her toxic words, one of his hands went around her back and grabbed her hair. He arched her head upwards such that she cried. Madam Martha came for her rescue, asking him to let her go.

"Damien, let her go. Let her go I say!"

Alas, the demon inside him had overpowered him. A tear rolled down his left eye as he growled, tossing her away carelessly with all intention to hurt her physically.

"Damien, are you crazy?" Aura stared at him in aghast as her Mother screamed furiously.

Ayea was thankful to have her mother beside her, who caught her shoulders in time, and refrained her from hitting the cold floor. Despite that, her expressions did not change. More remorse reflected on her face as Aurora composed herself and balanced on her feet.

It took every ounce in her to not touch her belly.

He pushed her? His child's mother. How could he? She was staring at him with those thoughts when his dark eyes and rising canines approached her. He encapsulated her elbow in a painful grip and snarled, "I have been an idiot. You deserve more than just my abusive language. I should rather throw you out on the streets for the perverts." He insulted her, stunning her with the last statement, sounding like a curse.

Aura sobbed, taking a step backward in her mother's embrace. His dark glares turned the air around her extremely cold. His push was still shuddering her body in miserability.

"What have I done to get such a humiliation?" Biting her lips to control her sobs, she meekly asked.

She was scared of this Damien. Suddenly an ache erupted in her stomach as if telling her this was not the father of her child. The father would never push her away like he did. She was quaking still thinking about how aggressively he peeled her away from himself.

"Humiliation? I can't believe you're talking about humiliation.  The woman that humiliated my love, my faith is talking about humiliation."

"When did I cheat on you, Damien? It was you who always cheated on me with infinite women." She bursted out crying, breathing heavily.

She was not sure if it was her pregnancy why he was being so cold. She could see it in his eyes there was something else to his aggressiveness and wanted to know what it was.

Alpha Damien gave her a menacing grin. "So you want to know? I'll be happy to show you." With that, he sprung away and returned with those pictures in his hands.

"Damien, please I request you, please do not show them to her." In spite of Madam Martha's cries, he threw the photos almost on her face.

They didn't fall on the floor. Aurora's hands were compressing on her chest and the pile of photos literally dropped in the pit of her palms.

"These might help you recall your wild nights with your boyfriends!" Damien remarked.

Aurora flipped the photos one by one and was shocked to see them. They contained her. She was with that bloody Peter as well.

Correction… someone looking like her was with him whereas the other pictures were clicked when she was out with Oscar and Rosario. She felt disgusted when she peered at all the photographs one by one hastily.

She couldn't trust her own eyes. Now she knew why he was roaring like a mad lion. Now she can perceive the cause of being called a cheater. But she didn't cheat on him.

Her heart wanted to scream badly and prove her innocence to him. Her tongue, woefully, failed to express the storm going on inside her chest.

She somehow began to speak. "Damien.... These are not rea-----"

"Yeah, yeah, I know" he waved his hand with a scoff. "These pics are not real. They are fake. They were clicked at the wrong time and from wrong angles. Oscar is like a brother to you and Rosario is nothing more than just your friend. The ones with Peter are photoshopped. It's some other woman with your face and not you."

Aura blinked her eyes because that's exactly what she was going to say in a low shaky tone regardless.

"If that's what you want to say then don't stress yourself, Ms. Collins, because I am aware of that. Your sweet sweet mother has told me everything beforehand." He eyed Madam Martha who helplessly sobbed.

Aura was hardly paying attention to his tone or words. She was rather occupied by the content in the pictures. It was fake and she was hopeful he would listen to her if she attempted to tell him. He loved her after all. He called her as his relief. If she told him, he would listen to her.

Madam Martha's words didn't make an impact because she was not his lover. Maybe he was longing to listen to it from her mouth. She knew her place in his life, and also how much she meant to him. Such misunderstandings could not affect them, could they? Their love was deep and strong. Theirs was a different kind of love. One with lots of variability and uniqueness. There was nothing normal about them, let alone their love.

That being thought, Aurora took baby steps towards him. She slowly put her hand on his arm and slipped forward, in front of him. She was not sure how she would make him believe but she knew he needed a hug.

Having her wet thick lashes blinking at him with a pout, she stood on her toes and curled her hands around his neck. Damien's hands instantly wrapped around her waist as if he was looking forward to it. Both of his hands clasped around her like a coil. He dipped his head in her neck and inhaled her scent. He clenched on her tight in pure possession as if he was saying that— You belong only to me.

She tortured her lips with her teeth. "I don't know where they came from and who sent them to you, but I swear the pictures are fake. I know you trust me, don't you?"

"I will trust you, Aura. I surely will. Just tell me how many times you slipped into their beds on my back, in my absence?" The torment of his soft tone across her ear, shook her spine.

What came ahead just left her wide-eyed and at a loss of breath in despair.

"Did you guys have a gang bang too?"
