Chapter 50 A dinner date or destructive date?

Chapter 50 A dinner date or destructive date?
50\. A dinner date or destructive date?

"Oh Damien, you really make me want to crave for you." This was the fifth time gorgeous Aurora muttered in her breath that morning since she broke from the spell of her sleep.

And that's solely because when she shifted to hug him and probably graze his jaw with her soft lips to make his morning the best one, it dawned on her that he was not there. There was only his scent and a sense of his warm body lingering around her in the back of her mind from the other night.

"I swear I will not let you leave me for days when you return today. You make me want you so much." She sighed.

Damien was gone. He had an early meeting this morning with the foreign clients online whom he left at the mercy of his beta, Brian. The deal was going to be signed today in Brian's presence and there were some topics that needed to be discussed with the Alpha. Which is why he had to leave early without even kissing Aura a good morning.

That does not mean he didn't know that she would not be pissed. Alpha knew the first thing in the morning his lady would try to do would be hugging him. And since she wasn't going to find him, he thought of replacing himself with a gift box.

"I wish I could come and see you now." She pouted with a longing expression. "But the baby and I can wait for a few more hours. Right baby?" Aura pressed a kiss on her palm and then rubbed it all around her flat belly to deliver the warmth of her kiss to her unborn baby.

Then she glanced again, maybe for the umpteenth time, at the gift box that was dropped by him in his place on the bed for her. Also a letter which read—

'Hey sweetheart,

I am so sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep before your arrival last night (I was very tired, sorry) or slip out of the room while you're still asleep. But my job is inevitable and you know how important these deals are. I hastily came back home which is why I have to attend online meetings to complete the deals.

Trust me the deal seals today and by the arrival of evening I'll be free and exclusively available for you. And to compensate you I've planned a lovely date for us.

I'll come to pick you up by the evening so please be ready. Make sure you wear the dress I bought for you from London. I imagined you when I bought this dress— now I want to see you dressed in it live with my eyes. Hope the evening arrives soon. Can't wait to see my darling. It's gonna be a special night tonight!

Love you a lot, love.

Yours and only yours,

Damien.'

A smile crept on her lips as she reread his letter again. The fact that he knew how to subside her accumulating anger was commendable. He knew what his Aura wanted. He knew how to make her smile.

Above all, she loved the way he ended his letters or notes for her. Always he regarded her as his LOVE and finished it with, Yours Forever, or Your Damien— ensuring that she was aware of her ownership she had over him. Aware of his infinite care towards her.

"I can't wait for the evening!" She hugged the letter to her chest as she lost herself in the thoughts of her alpha darling.

Only… if Aurora visioned that the evening was going to bring a huge storm in her life, had she not asked for it so soon. Maybe Never.

Finally it was here. The much needed time of the day. The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. Birds were on their way to return to their nests whereas here inside the Manor, an excited Aurora gazed at herself in the mirror.

"I really hope he likes it." She thought, setting her hair and looking at her reflection in the mirror.

The dress was precious and pretty. A lovely wine colour gown with a sexy slit on the right side. It put her long slender and milky white skin at view while the entire dress was supported by two thin strings on her shoulders. With her hair left open yet curled from the tips, her lips painted with matte lipstick and some blush on her cheeks and kohl in her eyes, she appeared no less than a model. It was hard to comprehend it was the simple and decent Aurora everyone knew.

Because this glamorous version of herself— appeared no less than a fashion model jumping out of the glossy pages of a fashion magazine. Her perfect figure was inevitably elevating the beauty of the dress.

It was not the wardrobe making her look stunning— it was her who was making the dress look worthy for wearing. For grazing her sexy figure.

"He has an amazing choice I must say." She beamed.

Oh, it had slipped out of her head earlier, but later that afternoon  Alpha Damien sent another gift for her. It was a nicely wrapped diamond necklace box with earrings. Now that it was around her neck and dangling in her ears, just the dress their worth also increased.

The love of Damien's live was busy adjusting her dress when out of the blue her phone buzzed. There was a message. It was sent by Damien— Asking her to come out.

"Oh my God, I am so nervous!" Aurora squealed both in excitement and irresolution.

Once again she peered at her reflection in the mirror and with a deep breath exhaled, she plodded out of her room.

When she was at the door of the Manor, her heart stopped beating in amazement.

There he was standing— Alpha Damien. Looking hot in a three piece black suit with a perfectly ironed white shirt peeking from within.

She didn't have to guess that he came over right after wrapping his work. It was written all over his face in the form of exhaustion.

But still, for God's sake, he set her nerves on fire. A fire that shall remain burning throughout the night.

She felt like eating him up right here. His eyes were glued to his mobile screen with his back resting on the car's door. Aurora couldn't help but wonder that he looked sexier than her.

The tick tock sound of her stilettos beside her approaching soothing scent grabbed his attention. He raised his eyes normally but changed his expressions into a flabbergasted one as soon as they found her.

Damien ogled at her with his mouth wide open. As she marched towards him and stopped, he was still staring at her. The yellows of his eyes burned to a darker shade of passion as a knot slipped down his throat as he gulped it.

She couldn't help but lose herself in his lost state given that he bathed her with a gaze a crazily in love teenager would bathe his first love. A current of nervousness and curiosity surged through her. A feeling of being someone's everything filled her heart.

Coughing deliberately in order to bring him to the real world, Aura sunk her teeth in her lower lip.

"You look heavenly, Aura." He said as his hands went around her waist to pull her close.

All his exhaustion subsided, leaving behind a tint of satisfaction and agreement towards her divine beauty on his face. Damien leaned down to kiss her lips and wrapped his arms around her frame tighter just for a while to ensure he was finally with her.

"Damien, we're getting late for our date." She quietly whispered near his ear since he wasn't letting her go.

She sensed his shoulder move under her hold before he pulled away to pout.

"I think we should postpone the date to some other day and just cuddle in bed tonight. I don't want to keep my hands off you." He said teasingly.

But when she sniffed, throwing her anger, he chuckled.

"This is not fair, Damien Hunter! I've been waiting for this date for a long time. You can't just postpone it to some other day." Folding her hands, she spun around so as to show that she was really angry. Super angry.

"You're really so excited?" He slipped his craving fingers around her wrist and lowered them down to her palm.

Taking her hand in his, he kissed her knuckles.

"Aura, I was just kidding."

"I know."

"Then why don't you look at me?"

"Because I am pissed." He made her laugh loudly, divinely.

Then after composing himself, he hushed some romantic words to her. He helped her sit inside the car not before, like a real gentleman, unbolting the door and helping her with her gown.

"Now happy?" Damien settled beside her, his hands working on igniting the engine.

"Hell yeah!" He pressed a kiss on her lips before getting started.

As soon as their car crawled out of the huge gate, a mysterious person peeked out at their disappearing car from one of the many windows of the manor.

"Alpha Damien and Aurora have left from here, sir." The person typed on the phone before adjusting their uniform.

"Really? Great." A reply was received.

Followed by,

"The other half of your income will be transferred to your bank in a minute from now, Chelsea. I appreciate your work."

It was one of the servants— Chelsea.

Chelsea, who hated Aurora with all her heart and flesh, smiled happily. Finally it was here, the message she's been waiting to see.

'$20,000 credited in your bank with account number 896xxxxxxxxxx'

She jumped excitedly and sent back a message of acknowledgement,

"Money received, sir. I am glad to help."

With that she put the phone somewhere behind her apron in a pocket of her skirt. As her eyes greedily stared at the darkening sky, she mumbled,

'You thought you'd get away with the best, Aurora? Unfortunately, you are wrong. After tonight you'll lose everything— including the roof of this mansion. Your date today with Alpha Damien will leave you with nothing. You'll be worse than me with no place to live and respect to cherish. The alpha who's loving you now for your body— will hate you and bruise you with irreparable scars very soon. That's what you deserve btch!'

Satisfyingly she smirked and then before anyone spotted her, she went back to her quarter to pack her remaining stuff. She had to leave in some time from now. She's been fired over Madam Martha's command after all.

When it was all done, without seeing anyone off, or Madam Martha, Chelsea gathered her luggage and stepped out of the Manor and off the gates.

She stopped at a point in order to look behind at the mansion that's been her home for years. Tears flashed in her eyes. She rubbed them away sourly and with a throaty laugh she resumed again.

"I'll regret not being able to see Alpha Damien throwing you out of the mansion tonight, Aurora Collins. But I will certainly come and pay my condolences to you— with a hard kick in your vgina, over the death of your fairytale which is going to end tonight. You are so gone, Aurora. So gone. If I couldn't have Alpha Damien in spite of working for years for him then you can't have him either. But still… I am leaving with a lot of money. Unlike you, who's got nothing but regretful memories of Alpha fcking your a$$ for pleasure. Wishing you bad luck and bad dinner tonight, Aurora. Fck you." Chelsea savoured a cup of hot coffee from a nearby restaurant before she hopped into a cab to go to the airport.

Why was she so happy? And what's exactly going to happen tonight?

Tbc…
