47\. Aura with Rosario— caught!!!!
Her eyes lowered to the ground. She knew she was everything for the Alpha but Chelsea and others... She can't stop thinking about them.
"Madam Martha knows more than you. You only told me that she has been in that mansion for decades. She knows what's good for the Alpha and his family, Aurora. Do not worry much. Hmm?" He asked in a very polite tone.
"I guess you are right. Chelsea has always been mean to me since the beginning. I tried to be nice to her but she won't change. It is better if she leaves from here." She smiled, finally accepting what was best for her and the baby.
She rubbed her free hand on the stomach and smiled. Her baby had done nothing to earn anyone's hatred. Madam Martha would do things keeping in mind the little life that will soon come to live in the mansion with them. Indeed, her baby should not be exposed to such people.
"If possible, I will ask Damien to help them get jobs in better places with high remuneration. He won't refuse that." She added turning back to enjoy the view of the setting sun.
"That's like my girl! Now quickly go and get ready as I am coming over to pick you up." Rosario said.
"What? Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise. Madam Martha and I planned it for you together."
"Oh, so my Ma knows about it?"
"Yes, your highness! I made sure to get her approval before I told you. I do not want to be glared at by your alpha boyfriend. He won't leave me alive if I dared to take you out secretly." A shy smile crossed her face, seeing that her Alpha boyfriend's aggression was widely known by all.
Staring at the sinking sun, she moved away and closed the window. "Okay then, give me twenty minutes." She jovially answered.
"Cool. And yeah, don't forget to take your evening meds after some snacks. You know you have complications, right?" His words made her heart sank.
Aurora was forced to wonder that he would make a responsible, lovely husband. The woman he would marry shall be very lucky.
"Okay, captain. I'll take my meds." She chuckled, hearing him chuckle on the other side. "Now if you allow me, I would like to go. I have things to get done within 20 minutes."
"Sure, my lady." He replied and they laughed together. "I will see you after twenty minutes."
As promised, within 20 minutes Aurora managed to get herself dressed in a Sapphire one piece and also consumed her meds with a healthy snack thereafter. Rosario, as per his part of promise, was waiting in his car outside the mansion.
When she approached his car, he hurried and jumped out in front of her clumsily. No one would trust her if she told them this was THE ROSARIO FERRARI, one of the most successful businessmen in the USA.
"You're looking stunning!" Aura mouthed a small thank you over his compliment.
She thought Damien was the one seeing her first as she would have loved to see his reaction. Her small sleeved sapphire dress ended above her knees, her hair left open for the breeze to carry with themselves but continue their journey alone as the tresses would enjoy flowing over her shoulders. Pink gloss on her lips and some kohl under her eyes. She had a small purse in her hand containing some medicines she was supposed to take, and finally flat slippers complimented her look.
"Where would our mama like to go first?" Rosario opened the door for her.
Aura happily slipped in. She waited until he was in the seat beside her holding the steering wheel, "Wherever our handsome chauffeur wants to take us." She chuckled, hoping that she exchanged the same amusement he did for her.
It was successful, Aura mused it when he smiled with pressed lips looking dumbstruck, "Let's go to a place our mama would like." and he started the engine.
Astonishment filled Aurora till neck because he took her to an orphanage. They visited lovely cute kids who were glad to have some visitors. Rosario must have had it on his 'to do list' considering that the backseat was laden with paper bags. Aura didn't know it contained toys and food packets for the kids but when he had pulled them out from the car, handing her some, she was unable to contain her shock.
It really helped Aurora forget what happened in the morning during breakfast. She loved visiting those innocent kids and also promised to come back to them with Damien next if Rosario was not available.
Their final destination was a park that was lit with lamp posts. Under one of them stood an ice cream cart with kids surrounding it. The park was, much to their surprise, filled with kids as they enjoyed playing on cool grass under the black sky. Obviously, accompanied by their mothers or fathers with delighted pets as well.
"I want to eat an ice cream too." Aurora insisted and Rosario cannot contain himself from pulling himself out of the car.
"Hope you don't catch a cold after this. I don't have a death wish." His remark was rather bemusing to Aura as she was helped outside the car.
Also she was well-versed with that statement and a direct reference made of Damien.
"Don't worry, my alpha boyfriend would reward you with jewels once I tell him you fulfilled my wish for eating ice cream." She winked with a proud look then chortled.
It sounded like a princess was bragging across from a poor fisherman about the reward her king father would present to him for rescuing his daughter from drowning while she was playing near a shore on a beach.
Damien's name had its own charm after all.
No words were exchanged thereafter as they sought to relish their favorite flavors. Rosario bought assorted flavors with garnishing of dry fruits whereas Aurora, as she missed her alpha boyfriend, preferred his favorite flavor that is very berry strawberry with honey syrup.
"This is yum!" She tapped her foot like a kid and Rosario responded with a cute smile.
He raised his eyebrows desperately gulping his flavor down his throat and expressed, "It's strange! Both of you love the same ice cream flavor. You guys are indeed made for each other."
It caused Aura to pause the spoon in front of her mouth as she responded with a shy grin, "Well, it is not really my favorite. I miss Damien so..." She bit her mouth as heat spread on her cheeks. "I am savoring his favorite flavor. You know,"
"I get it." She felt like slapping her head in shame watching Rosario suppress a teasing smile. "It happens. I... In fact I used to do it as a kid." Hesitation gone, curiosity reflected in her expression.
Rosario always laughed and smiled. Even in college girls would die to catch a glimpse of his face. No one ever saw him gloomy, and this conversation seemed to be a perfect one to know a bit about his background.
"Aura," Earlier than she hit the topic, a husky voice called for her.
She brought her turned face to the front only to get her life's biggest shock— in the figure of Damien standing there with an expression she wished was just her illusion.
