Episode 5: Mysterious Vision

Ava.

It's nighttime, and I am inside my room getting ready as the celebration is getting more and more lively.

This celebration is not just about my marriage or becoming the Luna. I am also celebrating having a child in my womb, and Caleb is celebrating his new title as the Alpha of the pack. Additionally, it's a celebration of the full moon, so it's a very exciting event.

Alpha Zed promised to make it the best celebration ever, so he decided to host a full moon celebration party and invited werewolves from all around the world.

Currently, our pack is filled with werewolves from different packs, while I am inside my room getting dressed up to look good for my beloved Caleb.

Then I heard a knock on my door. "Yeah? Who's there?" I asked.

"It's me, Ariel," a voice sounded, and I looked at the door, feeling surprised that Ariel was still here in the pack. I thought she was supposed to leave as ordered.

"Come in," I responded, and she opened the door and stepped in, dressed up as if she was also attending a wedding.

I was speechless, just staring at her. "Ariel, what does this mean? I thought you were supposed to leave the territory before the full moon arose," I asked as she approached a little closer.

"I am already leaving, but I thought it wouldn't be wise for me to not come and wish you good luck on your marriage and congratulate you too," she responded, while I silently gazed at her.

I suspect her because she's not trustworthy. I can never trust her.

I mean, Ariel, the Ariel I know, would never congratulate me for getting married to Caleb unless she had ulterior motives. I'm starting to become afraid because if she is congratulating me, there must be something suspicious about this marriage.

After gazing at her for a few seconds, lost in my thoughts, I sighed and pointed at her outfit.

"So, if you're here just to congratulate me, then why are you dressed like this, as if you're the one getting married?" I asked as she smiled at me.

"I believe you're jealous because I did it better than you," she responded, making me gaze at her in surprise, and then she left my room quietly.

At that moment, I couldn't continue with my makeup because I was filled with fear.

I fear for myself and my unborn child. What else is Ariel up to this time around?

I think I definitely need to see Alpha Zed now because he is the one who pronounced that Ariel has to leave before the full moon begins or face the consequences. So, what is she doing here?

Just as I was opening my door to leave the room, I ran into Caleb, who was coming to meet me at my room.

When I bumped into him, I almost fell down, but he held me and helped me back to my feet.

"Hey, I'm so sorry about that. I hope I haven't hurt you in any way," he asked, and then I saw Gwen hurrying in our direction.

I believe she was coming to see me, but as soon as she saw me with Caleb, she paused and immediately left because she could see that we needed privacy.

"Nope, you haven't hurt me," I responded to Caleb as he smiled at me and kissed my cheeks.

"You look like you were actually hurrying somewhere. Is everything okay?" Caleb asked, and I nodded my head, smiling at him.

"Yeah, everything is fine, but Ariel is here! Ariel is still living under this roof," I responded as he looked at me in surprise.

"No, you're kidding, right? That's not possible because my father already told her to leave hours before the full moon," Caleb responded.

"Exactly, but she didn't," I replied while Caleb shook his head.

"No, I think you are making a mistake or probably mistaking her for someone else," Caleb responded, shaking his head.

"I am not mistaking her for anyone! She definitely came to my room just a few minutes ago, claiming that she came to congratulate me."

"You met me running out of my room. I was actually trying to go and report her to Alpha Dante so he can start looking for her immediately. So, let's go!" I said as I hurriedly wanted to walk away, but he grabbed my hand and dragged me backwards.

"Please, you have to forget about her for now. We will take care of that later. Don't let her spoil your mood tonight. This is supposed to be your happiest night, Ava," Caleb said as he softly rubbed my cheeks.

"Ariel knows that, and she's trying to make it her mission to steal the smile from your face. Don't let her succeed," Caleb said, and I began to calm down because I think he's right.

He's definitely right about that. "Okay then, I think I was busy with my makeup before you interrupted me. I should go continue that, and you have to give me some privacy" I said as he raises his eyebrows.

"What?" He replied.

"Oh yes, you have to give me some privacy Caleb! it's a make up for you! so I can look new to you," I responded, and he smiled at me.

"You're right, my dear, but I think you should keep that away now. I have a surprise for you, and I think you need to see it before our wedding," Caleb said, leaving a smile on my face.

"Really? So what is it?" I asked as he waved his head.

"Don't be too fast. Your eyes are not to be opened because it's a surprise," he said as he brought out a piece of cloth he was hiding behind his back. Then I began to laugh continuously.

It made me so happy, so I allowed him to blindfold me. Immediately after covering my eyes, I felt a hand leading me, but that hand wasn't actually Caleb's.

I doubted if it was him. "Caleb, is this you?" I asked, reaching out to touch the hand, which felt so different. That's not my Caleb!

"Of course, it's me!" he responded, and since I could still hear his voice, I believed it was him.

I was led to a place where I could feel the breeze, knowing that we were outside the building.

"I believe it's time to open my eyes?" I said as I was no longer being led forward.

"Of course!" Ariel's voice sounded, and I hastily pulled the piece of cloth away from my eyes, only to see Ariel and some rogues standing beside me.

"Ariel! Where is Caleb?" I asked, looking around as there was no sign of Caleb among them.

"Caleb is at the wedding hall, waiting for my return so that we can continue our wedding that you wanted to steal. That wedding was never prepared for you. I warned you to stay away!" Ariel said as she turned and began to walk away.

"She's all yours," she said to the men who surrounded me, and they started to step closer.

"No! Stay away from me!" I began to scream very loudly.

Just as they were trying to lay hands on me, my eyes opened.

I found myself lying on the ground outside the pack's territory in the woods, and Gwen approached.

"Oh, thank goodness that you are okay. I thought you were gone forever," Gwen said as she hugged me.

It was then I realized that it had been a dream all this while. I managed to sit up and looked around.

"What are we doing here? Where are we?" I asked Gwen.

"Ariel and Caleb were so desperate to kill you. I believe they are still coming for you. I managed to get you out of the pack when I overheard them discussing how to dispose of your body."

"Then I rushed into your room to find you lying on the floor, bleeding heavily. But I discovered that you were still breathing..." Gwen was still speaking, but her voice began to echo in my ear. I could no longer hear what she was saying as my eyes filled with tears.

I remembered how Caleb had poisoned me, and I recalled losing my child. I wanted to look at my leg to see if the blood was still there or if nothing had actually happened to my unborn baby, I hope it should just be me, bleeding, not my baby flowing away.

I didn't want to look, but I forced myself to. As I slowly looked down, I saw the blood again, my skirt was soaked and just gazing at it, I couldn't bear it anymore. I began to lose my breath.

"My lady! My lady! Help!! Somebody help!!" Gwen screamed loudly, but no one showed up.

"Nobody?" She whispered with tears, thinking of what to do.

"Okay! wait here, I will be back immediately," she said and left hastily.
