34; A sneak out

Oliver’s POV.

I was boiling with rage at the thought of him wanting her. I took strides to her “I had told you to stay inside didn’t I?”I growled.

She took a step back, she knew she was in for some trouble I could see that from the way she vibrated with fear.

“Oliver I was the one that sent—“

“Stay out of this” I raised my voice at my grandma, as expected she was going to stand by her, I had no business knowing whatever statement she wanted to utter. My point remains, I had told her to stay inside because I had feared this would happen but yet she disobeyed me leaving me to pay for the mess she had created.

I could feel my wolf fighting to take domain over my body, I couldn’t allow that else he was going to hurt Frey without even knowing it. He was also mad that someone had wanted to stake a claim on what was his.

I had told him she was human yet he still wanted her letting me know he would stop at nothing to get her. She was my weak point, I would go crazy if anything were to happen to her. But she didn’t care she was going to be hurt after the warnings I had given to her.

I snatched her wrist, leading her to her room. I was going to lock her up. That was the only way I could monitor her movements and keep her safe.

Knowing Will he had probably sent someone after her to keep tabs on her, at any slightest chance he was going to take her and mound her to be his. I couldn’t allow her—I didn’t like her didn’t mean I wanted her to be his, she was always going to be mine no doubt and nothing will he be able to do about it.

“Oliver, stop you are hurting me” She tried to pry my fingers from her wrist but there was no going back. My wolf was already in control and he was bound to lock her up no matter what.

I opened the door to my room and threw her inside. My wolf was rough with her and at the slightest chance he was going to break her.

“Since you didn’t want to relish the freedom I have given you, you will stay here in this room as a prisoner,” I said trying to shut the door when she placed her body between the door and the sill. It hurt seeing her like this with tears running down her eyes but I needed to do this in respect of what I felt. She was pushing the door with all her might but it was nothing compared to my wolf strength.

“Oliver, don’t do this” my grandma pleaded holding my arm but it did nothing to calm the rags of storm in me if anything it made it worst. Her best friend also rushed to the door trying to save her friend. But my mind was already made up.

I pushed her away with the last gentleness I had in me and shut the door bolting in and locking it with a key.

She wasn’t thumping on the door like I had expected her to instead it felt quiet. Her best friend rushed to the door confirming to see if I had indeed locked her inside.

“Dude, what trees fuck? This is not cool” she glared at me.

My grandma shook her like she was somewhat disappointed with me “You are just like your father” and she left making my head spin with questions and self-doubt. Was I like him or she had just said it to make me feel bad about the decision I made?

“Open the door, Oliver” Celine said gently thinking it was the best approach but she knew nothing. They needed to understand I was doing this for her and her alone.

“I am doing this to save her not punish her,” I said gruffly taking back control of my body.

“This seemed like a punishment to me. She is your employee and not your servant. So you don’t have the right to do this thing to her” she yelled.

“She is mine, so I get to decide what suit her” I looked at her.

“Fuck you, your dick, and your stupid rules,” she said, walking off.

I gnawing feeling in my stomach was telling me she was hurting herself but I knew better than to think about that.

I walked off to my room, closing the door behind me because I knew it was with time Stephanie would come running in here with the name of making me feel better, I didn’t want to see anyone right now.

I was restless, I stood up and gazed outside the window hoping maybe I was going to regain my sense of calmness since the anger in me was overwhelming.

The breeze blowing into my room was calm and welcoming so I received it.

Everywhere was peaceful but the inside of me wasn’t.

A movement outside my window downstairs caught my attention. Celine stood outside with a duffel bag on his shoulder like she was headed somewhere but it was her waving of hands that disabled the thought.

She was waving her hand over. Then it all clicked she was urging Freya outside. I peered down the ground as Freya jumped out her window and landed smoothly with a thump. I hadn’t thought she would be able to do that but it seemed I had thought wrong as she looked around to make sure no one had seen that but I did. I wanted to stop her but I realized it was of no use. She had already gone out the gate leaving me in bewilderment.

I could only have someone to tail her to make sure she was going to be saved.

I picked up my phone and called Eric. He picked up on the first ring.

“Freya just left the house, I need you to follow her. Make sure she returns back here safely.”

I ended the call disrupting the question he was about to ask. I just hope this wasn’t the wrong decision.
