The journey to the wolf pack was silent. Garm, in his white wolf form, led the way, and I followed, my heart beating in sync with the steps that took us to those whom I had once called family.

As we approached, my stomach churned with anxiety. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was determined to face the judgment of the pack.

As we neared, I noticed curious and suspicious glances directed at me. The atmosphere was tense, and my carefully crafted speech gained even more significance. Garm led me to the meeting place, where all eyes turned to my presence.

The clearing was shrouded in the night's darkness, with moonlight filtering through the trees, creating a dark and majestic scene. I stood in a place that was once so familiar but now seemed filled with critical and hostile gazes. The last time I had been there was on the night of Hunter's coronation as the heir, and now I returned seeking something I knew wouldn't be easily granted: the pack's help.

My eyes fixed on the twisted trunk throne where Alastair used to sit with all his authority. It was a sacred place, full of traditions and symbols, and now I stood there, an intruder before the wolves I had known since my youth.

Ignoring the suspicious looks from the surrounding wolves, my eyes focused on the empty throne, a cruel reminder of how things had changed since the last time I was there.

The sound of drums echoed through the clearing, announcing the arrival of Alpha King Hunter and his Luna, Zora. The drums resonated like the heartbeat of the pack, revealing the tension in the air.

Hunter entered the clearing with dignity, wearing the brown bear mantle we had hunted together six years ago. The bear fur covered his bare shoulders, displaying the Alpha's strength. Beside him, Zora wore the elk mantle that once belonged to Alastair, now adorning the pack's Luna.

Hunter's gaze met mine, and I saw a flicker of our past, now overshadowed by bitterness and betrayal. I wondered if he remembered the nights we spent together, the promises made under the moonlight.

They took their places in front of me, their gazes serious and assessing. The clearing fell silent, awaiting the Alpha King's command.

The Alpha King raised his hand, indicating that it was time for the pack to present themselves before the judgment of my plea. Tension rose, and the wolves began to approach, one by one, each displaying an expression ranging from distrust to pure hostility.

“Pack!” Hunter's voice echoed through the clearing. “The she-wolf before us is Fierce, who once chose to abandon our pack. Today, she returns seeking our help to find her kidnapped and endangered children.”

I took a deep breath, trying to maintain my composure. I knew that every word, every look, would be crucial. As the wolves began to speak, I heard murmurs and disapproving expressions. Some remembered the abandonment, others questioned my loyalty.

Finally, Hunter raised his hand, silencing the pack. He looked at me with hard eyes, a mix of indecipherable emotions. “Fierce, you dare to return to the pack you abandoned. Explain to everyone why we should help you find your children.”

The pack's eyes turned to me, judgmental and suspicious. I knew I had to choose my words carefully to win their sympathy and understanding.

Swallowing hard, my eyes meeting Hunter's, I began to speak. “Alpha King Hunter, Luna Zora, wolves of the pack, I know that my presence here is a reminder of the choices I made in the past. I abandoned the pack in a moment of desperation, but now I return not seeking forgiveness, but help.”

The hostile looks were evident, but I continued, determined. “I know that pack abandonment is unforgivable. At that moment, I believed it was the best decision. However, life has taught me that we don't always choose the easiest path but the necessary one.”

I stared at each wolf around me, seeking connection. “Today, I am here not as a wolf seeking redemption but as a mother desperately searching for her children. Cassian, Dorian, and Kane are part of all of us, and I believe that, as a pack, we have a duty to protect our own pups.”

A pause hung in the air before I continued. “I am aware of the consequences of my actions, but I also know that I cannot face the challenges alone. I know why the Moon Goddess deemed it fair for me to return here. I need the pack's help to find them.”

Murmurs spread among the wolves, but I maintained my posture. “I know trust must be rebuilt, and I am willing to work to earn it. But please, do not judge my return as a sign of ingratitude and arrogance. On the contrary, it is a testimony of the love I have for my children and the pack, which, despite everything, I still consider my family.”

I looked at Hunter and Zora, seeking understanding. “I love my children and this pack, despite everything. I know I need to regain your trust, and I am willing to do so. I ask you to consider my quest for my children.”

The clarity of my words cut through the silence of the night, echoing among the trees. I knew that, in the end, my fate would be in the hands of the pack and, most importantly, in the hands of the wolf I had once loved.

Hunter, the Alpha King, rose from the twisted trunk throne, raising his hand to silence the pack. His voice echoed through the clearing, announcing the crucial moment of the vote.

“It's time, to pack. Each of you will turn human and give your vote because Fierce, at the moment, is without her wolf.”
