When the last suitor made her request, Hunter walked to the center of the clearing, ready to face the coronation test. It was a tense moment, and I, along with the other omegas, watched with eyes glued to the central stage.

The clearing was illuminated by the light of the full moon, and all eyes were fixed on Hunter, who now knelt before Alastair, the pack leader, imposing with his cloak made from the fur of the largest moose hunted in the region.

Alastair, with his majestic presence, rose from his seat, staring at Hunter with penetrating eyes. The cloak fluttered in the night wind, creating an aura of authority and power. I watched attentively, aware that this moment would define the fate of everyone in the pack.

“The time has come for Hunter's test,” proclaimed Alastair, his voice resonating in the clearing like distant thunder. Hunter, on his knees, waited with respect.

I felt my heart racing, anxious and tense about what would come next. The challenge Alastair had imposed on Hunter was formidable, and my gaze followed every move, aware of the magnitude of this test.

Alastair approached, his expression serious. “To prove your worth to the pack and all others, you must successfully complete your test. Hunt the Brown Bear that attacked our pack.”

My eyes met Hunter's as he prepared for the challenge. The tension in the air was palpable, and I wished from the depths of my being that he would return triumphant.

“Are you ready, Hunter?” asked Alastair firmly.

Hunter stood up, transforming into the imposing gray wolf. His golden eyes reflected determination. “Yes, I am ready.”

The tense moment hung over the clearing as Hunter lunged toward his destiny, disappearing into the shadows of the forest. His gray fur faded among the trees, leaving behind a sense of anticipation.

My heart squeezed with the uncertainty of the moment. I felt the responsibility of this test. Hunter was part of my world, and living without him was something I would not admit. The forest seemed silent now, awaiting Hunter's return, and I fervently hoped he would come back triumphant.

The coronation ceremony was in full swing, and as Hunter headed for his test, I felt the growing agony. I couldn't stand still, so I decided to trust my lupine instinct. I used my keen sense of smell to follow Hunter's trail, as if I could guide him with my scent.

Focusing on Hunter's scent trail, Zora approached curiously. “What are you doing, Fierce?” she inquired, watching my intense focus.

“I'm sensing Hunter. I want to know how things are,” I replied, keeping my eyes fixed in the direction he had gone.

Zora seemed incredulous. “You can really do that just with your sense of smell?”

“Yes,” I confirmed. “I can sense the presence of everyone miles away.”

Zora expressed her amazement. “That's truly impressive.”

“Undoubtedly, you have special abilities too,” I added, acknowledging the uniqueness of each werewolf.

Curious, Zora asked, “What do you feel now? Where is Hunter?”

I closed my eyes and used my sense of smell to follow Hunter's scent trail. “He reached the river. Probably looking for clues of the Brown Bear.”

“Can you locate the bear too?” Zora asked anxiously.

I took a deep breath, and after a few seconds, my eyes widened. “The Brown Bear is just a few meters from Hunter, and he hasn't noticed yet. He's about to be cornered.”

Concerned, Zora questioned, “And now, Fierce?”

I couldn't allow anything to happen to Hunter. I hurried away from Zora, feeling the increasing tension. As I walked, I tore my dress, releasing my lupine form. The black fur took over me, and my claws touched the ground. I was determined to reach Hunter before the Brown Bear approached.

The trees quickly passed by me as I ran in my wolf form, following the unmistakable scent trail of Hunter and the Brown Bear. Hunter's odor became stronger, indicating that he had likely just encountered the imposing enemy. Each beat of my heart echoed desperation, knowing that the bear was gaining an advantage over him.

I ran as fast as my paws allowed, determined to intervene before it was too late. The distant roar of the bear echoed through the corners of the forest, fueling my urgency to reach Hunter.

When I arrived, I was met with the terrifying scene. The Brown Bear raised its imposing paw, ready to deliver the final blow to Hunter. Without hesitation, I jumped on the bear's back, surprising both the bear and Hunter.

“Fierce, what are you doing?” he exclaimed, confused.

“I came to help you,” I replied, wasting no time. My loyalty to him surpassed any test or ceremony.

Hunter, surprised, ordered me, “Go away, Fierce. This is my test.”

Ignoring his words, I continued my attack on the bear, dodging its unpredictable movements.

The bear, frustrated, threw me toward the river. However, I managed to skillfully dodge, and as it turned toward me, Hunter advanced bravely.

The synchrony between us was remarkable, as if our instincts were aligned. We attacked together, biting and scratching, delivering coordinated blows to subdue the beast.

The tumultuous battle continued at the river's edge, with the moon silently watching. The unity between me and Hunter was a spectacle of strength and determination, challenging the strength of the Brown Bear.

As we fought together, a deep bond formed between us, transcending the formalities of the pack. The loyalty and love we shared manifested in the wild dance of battle, where Hunter's life and the future of the pack were at stake.

The Brown Bear proved to be a formidable opponent with its fur shining under the moonlight, its eyes reflecting a determination equal to ours. Every growl echoed through the forest, blending with the sound of panting breath and the noises of battle. The scent of damp earth, blood, and sweat permeated the air.

In the heat of the conflict, the Brown Bear launched a surprise attack in my direction. My paw was hit, and I fell, a growl of pain escaping my lupine lips.

My paw throbbed with sharp pain, and I could barely move. Hunter, witnessing my fall, was consumed by fury. His eyes reflected the determination to protect not only the pack but also me, his companion.

While Hunter plunged into the fight, the battle intensified. The forest became the stage for a battle between the gray wolf and the Brown Bear. The sounds of nature echoed the fierce struggle, a symphony of growls, grunts, and the sound of claws clashing.

However, I remained fallen, helpless, with the sharp pain of my injury reverberating. I closed my eyes, accepting the inevitable, believing that if it were my fate, at least I had kept Hunter safe. Destiny had its capricious ways of playing its roles, and I was willing to accept mine.

Then, suddenly, the sound of battle ceased. A tense silence hung over the forest. I smelled Hunter in his human form, emerging from the bloody vegetation, but with the fur of the Brown Bear in his hands.

Desperate, Hunter knelt beside me, his eyes searching for signs of life in my pale face. “Wake up, Fierce. Please, wake up,” he pleaded.

I opened my eyes slowly, finding Hunter's worried face. I smiled weakly, aware that somehow, he had managed to overcome the challenge imposed by Alastair. “You did it,” I whispered, a relieved expression crossing my face.

Hunter smiled gently, yet his eyes revealed the intensity of concern. He held my hand tenderly and said, “We won, Fierce. But you need to stay awake, you need help.”

Darkness began to close in around me, but I fought against it, determined to cherish the moment with Hunter. “You'll be the next Alpha King... and I, your Luna...”

Hunter's eyes widened, surprise and joy mixed on his face. “You... you accept, Fierce?”

I nodded, feeling a mix of happiness and pain. “Yes, a thousand times yes.”

Hunter embraced me carefully, and as darkness finally embraced me, I felt certain that even if my time in lupine form came to an end, I had lived fully, choosing my own destiny and loving Hunter.

I succumbed to exhaustion, my eyes growing heavy as consciousness faded. Triumph and reassurance filled Hunter's heart, and even as darkness enveloped me, I knew somehow we fulfilled our destiny. With one final smile, I surrendered to the darkness.
