Killian and I changed into fresh clothes that were in the room where we had completed the mate bond. Then we made our way outside to where everyone was waiting for us. We would be having dinner with all of the guests. I was so nervous about seeing them. I mean, a lot of them had watched as Killian and I made love. They witnessed me lose control and scream his name as he made me see stars. They heard me beg him to go faster, deeper. They heard me tell him I wanted more. This was so embarrassing.

Killian chuckled and that caused me to look at him

"It's okay, Eliana. You have no reason to be embarrassed. We are not the only ones that completed the bond in front of them. most of them have witnessed it before," Killian said

"Did they scream the things I did?" I said in my mind

"I am sure they did scream the things you did," Killian replied. That made me look at him.

"How does he know what I am saying? Can he hear my thoughts? No, that's impossible. He probably can feel what I am feeling through the mate bond," I said to myself

"That is true. I can feel what you are thinking through the mate bond but I can also hear your thoughts," Killian said

"What?" I shouted and he looked at me

"How can you hear me?" I asked

"It's a mind link. Werewolves can always hear each other through the mind link but I can hear you because of our mate bond. Mates have a special mind link that they share. You can hear me too," Killian said

"Really?" I asked

"Yes, I love you, Eliana," I heard Killian say but his lips did not move.

"I heard what you are thinking," I said

"Yes you did. I opened my mind for you to hear me."

"Waht do you mean. So you can open and close it. What about me? Why can't I do that?" I asked

"You can but you have to learn how to close it," Killian said

"Teach me," I said and Killian looked at me for a moment without speaking

"I don't want to teach you. I like hearing your thoughts," Killian said

"But that is not fair. You have to teach me how to close it," I replied

"Fine, all you have to do is put a wall up in your thoughts."

"How do I do that?" I asked

"Just think of a wall guarding your thoughts," Killian said, and I did as he said

"Can you hear my thoughts now?" I asked, and I thought of a number

"No," He said

"Yes," I said

"You thought you could hear all of my thoughts, but no, you can't," I said

"Actually, I can still hear your thoughts," Killian said, and I gasped

"You heard what I was just thinking?" I asked

"Yeah. It will take some time for you to be able to keep the wall up, but that is fine. I love knowing what you are thinking," Killian said

"What if I think of something embarrassing?" I thought

"It doesn't matter. I won't laugh," Killian said, and I pouted. Killian just chuckled.

"Come on, Eliana. Everyone is waiting," Killian said, and we walked to where everyoen was sitting. We walked over to where Killian's; parents, Syrus, Cayson, Helena, Tiara, Ashley, and James were sitting.

"There the two of you are. Congratulations on completing the mate bond. I am so happy for you," Catherine said

"So am I," William added

"Thanks," I said

"Thanks, Mom and Dad," Killian said

"I trust that you are going to take great care of her, right?" Syrus said

"Of course. I will protect her with my life. She will always be happy with me," Killian said

"She better be. Nothing better happen to my sister," Cayson said, and I smiled.

"Let's eat. Eliana, eat as much as you can. You are going to need it for strength," James said, and Killian glared at him

I wondered what he was talking about

"Don't worry about it, Love. But you should eat up. It is going to be a long night. You will need the energy," Killian said. That was when it hit me. I had learned in school that after werewolves complete the mate bond, they stay in bed for days. It's hard for them to keep their hands off each other. The higher the rank, the harder it becomes. I could feel Killian's want for me. As we ate, I could feel how hard it was for Killian to keep his hands off of me. I could feel how much he wanted to be inside of me.
