Cell room

~Alpha Kilhan~

Pulling my shirt off my body, I fell weakly to the ground of the cell I was locked in. My chest was bleeding and in severe pain.

I tore a long part of my shirt and molded it into a thick fabric, which I pressed against my chest. I groaned loudly, grabbing onto the floor in agony.

While I was nursing my wound, I heard footsteps approaching, and when I looked up to see who it was, it happened to be her.

The last person I wanted to see. I looked away and continued to press the cloth against my bleeding chest.

“Alpha Kilhan.” She called, but I refused to look at her anymore. The next thing I heard was the gate opening. I furrowed my brows and looked up to see that she had the key to the locks.

“What the hell are you doing?” I asked as I tried to stand up, but she hurried into the cell and squatted in front of me.

Just then, I noticed the box in her hand. “You shouldn’t move.” She uttered, staring at my chest.

“Go away. Does your father know you’re here? I guess not. Leave.” I muttered, turning away from her. I hated that she had to see me in such a bad situation.

“He is aware.” She answered, opening the box she had brought. It was a first aid box.

“And he let you come here?” I further asked, keeping my eyes off her. She remained quiet and soaked some cotton wool with antiseptic liquid.

“Here.” She reached for my hand, but I moved away.

“What do you think you’re doing? I never asked for your help. Go away.” I answered, standing up.

“You’re bleeding, Kilhan.”

“So you care now? Wow. I’m surprised.”

“Kilhan, C’mon. I do care about you.” She answered with a low tone, lowering her head.

“You do? Because the last time I checked, you fed me with so many lies, and I believed everything like a man in love. A big fool.”

“Kil…”

“You said you were not in contact with him! You said you hated him too. Why the hell are you here right now? Telling him what to do and what not to do? You really think I’m stupid, hun?”

“You don’t understand, Kilhan, and it’s so obvious you wouldn’t listen to me. But please, let me help you with your wound. If I don’t do it, it may get infected.”

“It’s none of your business…”

“Kilhan!” She yelled, cutting me short. “Stop doing this and let me help you with this, okay?! You don’t have to make me feel more shitty!” She added, and to my surprise, she began to weep.

I gulped hard and stared at her speechless.

“Let me help you.” She mumbled, raising her head to look at me. She moved closer to me and slowly reached for my hand, this time, I let her.

She moved my hand off my chest and when she saw the wound, she broke into more tears. I clenched my jaws as I stared at her face.

“He shouldn’t have done this to you.” She mumbled as she touched my wound with the wool, and I jolted as it stung me badly.

“Argh.” I groaned.

“Oh Goddess, I’m so sorry.” She mumbled, looking at my face. Our eyes locked for a short while and I looked away.

“I’m going to sit,” I muttered as I slowly fell to the ground. She followed me and dragged the box closer to where I sat.

“I’m so sorry. He shouldn’t have done this to you.” She mumbled as she continued cleaning off the blood on my chest.

“I confronted him. I expected this to happen.” I answered, looking at my chest as she cleaned it.

I could feel her eyes on my face and I suddenly felt so nervous to look up at her.

“I’m going to touch the face of the wound now. Here…” She pointed to her thighs which were right in front of me as she knelt. “You can hold onto them for support.”

“I don’t have to,” I answered coldly, and just when I wanted to grab onto the floor instead, she reached for my hand and put it on her thigh.

She moved closer while she kept eye contact with me. “I want you to depend on me. For once.” She said in almost a whisper.

I swallowed hard and held onto her thighs. I shut my eyes as I expected excruciating pain from my chest.

When the cotton wool touched the face of my wound, I groaned loudly, clenching my teeth so hard, and tightened my grip on her thighs.

“I’m so sorry.” She mumbled as she continued. The pain grew worse every single time and I could hardly keep Khan in check.

All of a sudden, I felt my claws protrude. “Ahh.” Celine cried as my nails pierced her skin.

“Oh mine… I’m so sorry.” I withdrew my hands from her, but she reached for them and placed them back on her thighs.

“I can cope. It’s not that bad.” She muttered, causing me to lock my eyes with hers.

“Why are you doing this?” I asked.

“Because I hurt you. I lied to you for months. This is the least I can do.” She answered, and I shook my head and looked away.

“You owe me nothing. If you’re doing this because of guilt, you should go.”

“No, I’m doing this because I care about you. And no matter what you say, I’m not leaving. I’m moving to the second hole.” She muttered, and I nodded slowly, shutting my eyes.

After a while, she was finally done applying the necessary medicine to my wounds. I became very weak and all I wanted to do was lie down and rest.

She pulled out the bandage and wrapped it around my upper body, perfectly securing the injured area. All this while, I could hardly lift a finger.

After we were done, two men showed up in front of the gate with a small-sized bed.

“Alpha Darius said we should leave this here.” One of them said to Celine, and she nodded. They carried the bed into the cell and dropped it on the floor.

“So I’m receiving special treatments now?” I asked in a low tone as she guarded me to where the bed was and helped me lay on my back.

“There’s nothing special about this.” She answered.

“We were also told to inform you that his men have been released.” They added as soon as they were out of the cell.

“They have?” I asked in surprise, looking at Celine and she nodded slowly.

“You can leave now, thank you.” She said to the men and they took off.

“Why did he release them?”

“I begged him to let you all go, but he said he may let your men go, but you… he may not, because of what you did to his face. But don’t worry… I’ll keep talking to…”

“You don’t have to. I’m not that weak to not be able to solve my own problems.” I answered.

“I know you’re not weak, Alpha Kilhan. But I hate that you're here. You have so many things to do with your time, not spending it in a cell.”

After she said this, we all went quiet, staring at each other. Then I remembered that I had pierced her skin earlier.

I looked at her legs and I saw her dress had blood stains. “Let me see that,” I said, trying to sit up, but she stopped me, holding onto my shoulders.

“Don’t do that.” She responded.

“Let me see your wound.” I insisted, reaching for her dress. She moved closer to me and raised her dress, revealing her reddened thighs, which were also bleeding at the sides.

“Let me treat that,” I answered, trying to sit up again, but she stopped me.

“This is mild, Kilhan. I can do it myself.” She answered, pulling down her dress.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.”

“I know. It’s okay.” She answered with a faint smile. “I should go and get you something to eat, and a blanket to cover yourself. The last thing I want is for you to catch a cold.” She added, standing up from the bed.

She packed up the first aid box and carried it. “See you soon.” She uttered with a faint smile as she headed out of the cell room.

She shut the gate and locked it from outside, waving at me before she walked out of sight.

When she was gone, I let out a deep sigh, thinking about her again. I recalled that soft and angelic aura that she had always had any time she was with me.

‘Do I miss her?’
