~Alpha Darius~
“Let me go!” He yelled, struggling very hard to get free from the chains used to tie him to the pole.
“Struggling with alloy anchor shackles is the stupidest thing you could ever do,” I muttered, moving my tobacco to the lighter on my right.
“I told you… I… I had no idea it was your property. I swear!” He yelled in tears from beneath the black cloth bag on his head.
“You had no idea? Or you just wanted to test my patience?” I asked with a smirk, taking slow steps towards him. I took a puff from my tobacco and smiled widely.
I looked back at the men behind me and immediately, they rushed to the culprit and pulled the bag off his head. He shook his head aggressively and when our eyes met, I saw his eyes widen in terror.
“What? You were not expecting to see me?” I cackled, burying my hands in my pockets as I walked even closer to him.
“Please, Alpha Darius. I swear on my late mother’s grave, I had no idea the land was yours. I was just looking for means to feed my family…”
“And that means you had to disrupt the work going on in my land?!”
I roared, and the response I got was the creaking sound of the roof over our heads and the vibration of the concrete under our feet.
Removing the tobacco from my mouth, I pushed the burning end into his chest, laughing satisfactorily as I watched his skin melt and heard his painful cry.
“In your next life, you’ll never…” I withdrew the burning tobacco from his chest and held it out. One of my men ran to me again and lit it up.
I buried it into his skin again, next to the first bruise. “… ever!…” I repeated the same thing over and over again until it formed a cute circle, ignoring his agonizing cry and pleas.
“… go against Alpha Darius Gomez!” I let out my claws and aggressively buried them into the holes I had created in his chest, causing him to groan intensively.
With the upper part of my fingers in his chest, I could feel his heart pounding very fast against them. Letting out a smirk, I dug deeper and grabbed his hot, active heart.
He gasped and his body stood still as I uprooted his heart from inside his chest. Holding it in my hands, I watched it still beating very fast and I broke into laughter.
I stretched out my bloody hands to my men and one ran towards me with a plate.
“Keep it in the fridge. I’ll feast on it later.” I said to them as I licked his blood off my hand. It was just as delicious as I had imagined. The blood of the fearful weak was the sweetest.
“Feed his body to the dogs. I bet they are hungry too.” I ordered my men as I made my way out of the room. I pulled out a white handkerchief from my pocket and cleaned the stains on my hand.
While walking down the hallway, one of the guards at the front door ran to me. Getting to where I was, he fell to his knees and bowed his head to the earth.
“Alpha Darius Gomez, Alpha Marcus is here to see you.” He uttered, with his head still bowed.
“He is? Let him in.” I responded.
“Yes, Alpha Darius!” He answered, sprang up from the floor, and ran off. Instead of heading to my private chamber, I went to the living room instead to meet with Marcus.
Getting to the living room, I met Marcus standing next to the couch.
“Oh, Marcus! Nice to see you!” I uttered, opening my arms in the air as I walked into the living room.
“Alpha Darius Gomez.” He answered with a smile and a slight bow.
“Sit,” I uttered as I settled down on my favorite single sofa chair.
“I know you’re busy, so I wouldn’t want to waste your time. I’ll go straight to the point.” He uttered as he took a glance at my stained right hand.
“Oh. Alright.” I answered and continued cleaning the useless blood off my hand.
“I don’t think I want to be with Celine anymore.” He said, causing me to abruptly stop what I was doing.
“What? Why?” I furrowed my brows.
“Well, I’ve been imposing myself on her for too long, but she doesn’t want to be with me. I don’t think I want to keep forcing it. Because I’ve been chasing her for months, I hardly have time to work, and my business isn’t doing very well anymore.” He explained while I stared at him with a narrowed gaze.
“Oh Wow. I never thought you’d just give you, you know?”
“You know your daughter well. She would never do something she doesn’t want to do.” He answered, and I chuckled softly.
“She took that from me. But, you know this doesn’t affect our deal because I am not the one backing out, you are.” I informed him.
“Yes. Yes. I get it, and I’m very aware. Don’t worry. Everything else remains the same. That’s all I came here to say.”
“That’s alright,” I answered, standing up from my chair and stretching my bloody hand to him.
With a feeble smile, he took my hand and shook it. “I’ll take my leave now.” He uttered and without hesitation, turned to leave.
Immediately he got out of the house, I signaled one of my men to come closer. He bent over and I whispered in his ear…
“Keep an eye on him. Make sure he doesn’t try anything stupid like still keeping track of my daughter.”
He nodded after I finished speaking and left.
With a satisfied sigh, I walked back to my private chamber. On my way, I took my phone to reach out to Alpha Joven, and as usual, he answered almost immediately.
“You did a good job. He’s not off my daughter’s back. Congratulations. You can come over to sign the documents.”
Before he could answer, I hung up and entered my private chamber. I locked the door behind me and walked up to the computers I had set up.
I had about seven of them, and these seven were displaying the CCTV footage of places I wanted to see right from my house, and my daughter’s location happened to be one of them.
I sat on my chair and stared at the screen which had Celine’s location on display. The compound was quiet and the door to the house was locked.
‘Won’t she come outside to take a stroll around the compound today?” I wondered, checking the time on my wristwatch.
“Oh! It’s almost time.”
I smiled widely, moving even closer to the screen as I waited for the door to open. And just as I expected, when the alarm in my wristwatch came on, I saw the door open and my daughter walked out with a smile on her face.
Seeing her smile made me smile even deeper. Seeing her walk around with her cute little bumps is the favorite highlight of my day. I never miss it.
‘It’s time to get my daughter back. Daddy had missed you.’
While I enjoyed the view of her sniffing some beautiful flowers in the garden, I heard a knock on my door, causing my smile to fade off.
‘Who dares to disturb me in a time like this?!’
“Alpha Darius Gomez, I’m sorry for interrupting you, but a woman…” I didn’t let him finish before I opened the door and threw a slap at his face.
“I’m sorry, Alpha Darius, but the woman won’t go away.” He fell to his knees and held my legs. In anger, I kicked him off and stormed to the living room to see the woman who had interrupted my precious time.
On my way, I grabbed one of the pistols I had hung in the hallway and stuffed it in my back pocket.
“Who the hell wants to see me?!” I roared as soon as I got to the living room.
“It’s me.” A female voice answered and I looked up to see Ashley Grayson.
Without saying a word, I stormed towards her and when I got to her, I pulled out my pistol and pointed it to her head. She remained quiet and didn’t move an inch.
“Where is my son?!” I groaned, clenching my jaws.
“I miss you too, Darius.” She answered with a soft smile, making me angrier.
“Don’t you dare! Where is my son?!” I yelled, pressing the mouth of the pistol on her head.
“I’ll bring him to you on only one condition.” She answered, closing the gap between us regardless of the gun she had on her head.
“You’ll see your son, if and only if you get married to me.” She answered, covering my lips with hers.
