Chapter 70

Aziz

I was drawn to her, and I don’t know why. I continued kissing her while my hands started to travel on her body. “Alpha,” I heard someone say, but I ignored it.

“Alpha!” Said the voice again, and this time, it was with conviction. Then I felt a hand grab me, so I looked at whoever owned it, only to meet a fist.

“Fuck!” I exclaimed. Then I looked around and found Reeves. He’s the one who punched me.

“Are you back?” He asked. Did I come back? From where? And why am I here again?

“Alpha Aziz,” I looked at the owner of the voice and found Luna looking at me, smiling sweetly. My eyes widened when I remembered her jumping at me and kissing me.

“What did you fucking do to me?” I asked angrily.

“What do you mean? You’re the one who kissed me!” She replied, making me feel angry. I was about to grab her by her neck, but Reeves stopped me.

“It will be better if we leave now.” He said. “I mind-linked two of our warriors to get our things already, so they will be here any minute.” He added. I sighed in relief. Thankfully I managed to mind linked him before that bitch jumped at me.

“You start praying that my mate didn’t feel any pain because of what you did, bitch.” I told her.

“Are you blaming me for what you did to me?” She asked, acting innocent.

“What’s going on here?” Gary’s voice echoed in the night.

“Ask your Luna.” Reeves replied.

“Riz?”

“I don’t know what he was talking about. I was walking and shocked when Alpha Aziz suddenly kissed me and pinned me to that tree.” Luna Riz exclaimed.

“Alpha Aziz, I respect you, and I can’t believe you could do that to me.” Alpha Gary said, disappointed.

“Your mate jumped at me; I have no interest in someone else’s mate because I have mine,” I replied angrily. Shit! I shouldn’t have said that. I didn’t want anyone to find out about her yet.

“You already have a mate?” Alpha Gary asked in disbelief. I nodded my head.

“And she’s the only one for me.”

“You don’t have a mark.” Luna Riz said, trying to find something to gaslight her mate’s anger.

“Because she can’t,” I answered.

“What do you mean?” It was Alpha Gary.

“This is what he meant,” Reeves chimed in. We all looked at him, and then one of our warriors came with an omega who had her head down.

“What is it, Ana?” Alpha Gary asked,

“Oh, Gary, I think we should call this a night. It must be a misunderstanding.” Luna Riz said, smiling sweetly at her mate.

“No, Riz. We need to find out what was going on. I didn’t want any visitor to disrespect you.” The Alpha said with conviction. I feel sorry for him because of what his Luna did. I’m sure that Reeves had a valid reason for bringing the omega and judging by the Luna’s reaction, it was all her doing.

“Ana, I’m asking you.” Alpha Gary said,

“Alpha, I’m sorry.” the omega replied. She burst out crying and looked scared.

“Come on, Ana, I am your alpha, and you know that protecting you and the others is my top priority.”

“Luna Riz asked me to put something on the warriors and the Beta of the Dark Blood Pack’s drinks and brought it to their room.”

“What did you put in there?” Alpha Gary asked,

“I don’t know, Alpha; I just followed Luna Riz.” Alpha Gary looked at his Luna.

“I didn’t tell her to do anything!” Luna Riz quickly said. If not for Alpha Gary, I would have strangled that bitch to death and fed her to feral rogues. I would also love to see her to be dried dead by the vampires. She just hoped and prayed that Mica felt nothing when I kissed and touched her. Fuck! I don’t know what to do if my mate gets mad at me again.

“We will talk about this, Riz,” Gary said, trying to control his anger. I know because he was clenching his fist, and his veins were showing. Then, he looked at me apologetically before he said, "I’m sorry about this incident, Alpha Aziz. I never thought that my mate would do something like this.”

“Hey, baby. I didn’t do anything.” Luna Riz said as she clung her hands onto Fary’s arm, smiling sweetly.

‘Reeves, take that bitch away from the alpha.’ I mind-linked my Beta, and I think he gets what I mean. “Hey! What are you doing?” she asked, confused.

“You will be away from Alpha Gary until we figure out what was happening,” I said,

“What? Are you crazy? I never do anything to you; you’re the one who kissed me suddenly.” she insisted.

“Alpha Aziz, what are you doing? Why are you doing that to my mate?” Gary replied,

“I just want to ensure she didn’t do anything to you.”

“What do you mean?”

“I had a feeling that you had been charmed.”

“What?” Gary exclaimed. His eyes were so wide in disbelief before he looked at his Luna. Although it will be painful for him, he must understand that he’s an alpha and his pack needs him. There’s no way that I am going to let this bitch destroy this pack or use it to her advantage. “Alpha, I don’t think that’s necessary,” he said,

“Please, Alpha Gary. You have to understand. I am not doing this for you alone but for the entire pack. I can’t allow anything bad to happen to you.”

“Baby, please. Don’t let him do whatever he wants. You’re the Alpha here and not him!” Riz said, trying to cause conflict between me and Gary.

“Yes, she’s right. You're the Alpha here, so you better make the right decision. You should know when to accept opinions and suggestions from other alphas.” I said, trying not to appear eagerly because I didn’t want him to think his Luna was correct.

“Alpha! Luna! What’s going on here?” The pack’s Beta asked with confusion on his face. Doesn’t he have any idea about his Luna?

“Beta, please restrain the Dark Blood Pack,” Luna ordered, but the Beta was still confused. “Didn’t you hear me? I said take them!”

“Alpha?” The Beta asked Gary.

“No, wait,” Gary replied as if something was happening in his head. Then he faced his Luna: “What are you doing here again? I remembered having a drink with you in our bedroom before I suddenly felt dizzy, and everything turned blurry. Then there was darkness.”

“No, you fell asleep, so I decided to go out and have a walk because I feel restless hearing the noise,” Riz replied. “Come on, baby. What’s going on here is that this Alpha is trying to break us apart by accusing me of something I didn’t do.”

“I haven’t said anything, Luna Riz,” I said, making the Beta and Gary look at me.

“Sandro,” Gary said, “Please send Riz to the dungeon,” he added.

“Wait, what?” the Luna exclaimed. “No, you can’t do this to me, baby. Come on, I didn’t do anything! Let me go! Let me go!” she said while struggling. Beta Sandro took her to the dungeon.

Then some pack warriors appeared, and Gary started to give instructions to everyone. I felt relieved that he managed to fight to whatever pull he felt toward his mate. If not, he would be under her spell and might ruin his pack.

The celebration was cut off when Gary turned to everyone. He didn’t let Riz’s friends leave either and had them detained in the dungeon for the pack’s safety. I felt relieved that his Beta and gamma were on his side and supported his decision. If Riz is his mate and a true Luna, which I doubt, she will understand why Gary had to do what he did.

We stayed in the pack until everything was clear and settled. Beta Sandro conducted a thorough investigation. I had to call Mica and inform her that we would stay longer than expected to ensure the pack was okay. Their Alpha was in good condition to lead. I would just tell her everything, including what happened between me and Riz, because I didn’t want to hide anything from her.

And even if I feel pity for Gary, I’m still thankful that Riz is not his Luna. It turns out that she uses a spell to make him believe that they are mates. Moon Goddess is watching her children. We wouldn't have been able to save the pack if I had not attended the ceremony.
