“You idiot, you didn’t even make me have my lunch first. I'm so hungry.” I remembered what Mica told me, which I only laughed at. That noon was fascinating and perfect. We made love the whole afternoon and only went out for dinner. But we didn’t end there. We continued after we had our meal. The next morning, Carter made her rest and I did too. I should not have tired her out, since she was already exhausted from her training. My poor human is so amazing that she wanted to make me happy no matter how tired she was. So I decided to date her.

“How about you going to your favorite place and having a picnic or something? Dating in a fancy restaurant is outdated.” Lexis said when I asked her and Hera for advice.

“Dating in a restaurant and going to a movie after is not outdated. It depends on what kind of person you are dating.” Hera replied. It seems that she likes the classic one.

“It’s Mica and she’s not choosy at all. That’s why I like her. But because of that, I think she would like to have a picnic kind of date. You know, just having fun and nothing serious,” Lexis insisted.

“Well, I agree with you. She had been in intense training with Carter and whether she admitted it or not, she felt like her body was in chaos. So a date that was only for fun will be good for her and I think that she will enjoy it as well.” Hera said, I was going crazy with their suggestions and I only wanted Mica to enjoy our date. I didn't know that thinking about it was this complicated.

“Can’t you just read her thoughts about this?” I asked, which shocked her and then laughed with Lexis.

“I thought you didn’t want to invade someone’s privacy?” she asked and I sighed. “But I’m sorry to tell you, but I can’t even if I want to.”

“Why?” I asked, confused. She could easily have done it before.

“I don’t know what happened, but these last two days, I tried to get to her head, but I couldn’t no matter how much I tried. I want to know if she was enjoying the training and I want to make sure that she was doing it because she wanted to and not because of the responsibilities that were on her shoulders as the Luna of the pack.”

“She learned to block you?” Lexis asked,

“I don’t know. But if she did block me, that is not because she intentionally did it. I don’t think that she had any idea about it either.” Hera said, then I thought of something. “Did you do something to her?” she asked, looking at me, curiously.

“Well, I can’t deny it so I will just have to admit it.” I said, “When I took out the venom of the vampire that bit her, I did leave some of mine in her veins. I didn’t want her to suffer the way she did back then and, since the vampires are our enemy, I decided to protect her.”

“Did she know it?” Hera asked and I shook my head. “Why are you not telling her? She'll get mad if she finds out about that later.”

“I know, and I am going to tell her, I just couldn’t find a chance.”

“Wait, so she’s now like a vampire or something?” Lexis asked and I nodded. “Didn’t a vampire kill her mother?” she asked. “Won’t she hate herself if she finds out that she’s one of them too?”

“More on, she will hate the one who made her like that,” Hera said, glaring at me.

“I know, but I only wanted her safety.”

“Then let’s just hope that she will take it lightly. I suggest that you tell her at the soonest possible time.” Lexis said,

“But that doesn’t answer the question, or did it?” Hera asked,

“What do you mean?”

“Is it the reason why I can't read her mind anymore?”

“Wait, she has that ability?” Lexis asked, “I mean, Hera? That’s how she found out about my feelings for Sean?”

“Apart from the one you witnessed in the mall, yes,” she replied to her.

“Wicked,” and we laughed. “Wait, about Mica. What kind of date are you planning to give her?” Lexis asked, and now we are back to zero. I asked them because I thought that they could help me with that, but it seemed like I was more confused than before.

“I will just have it like a picnic. Mica will like it even more than the fancy one,” I said, and I saw the two of them agreed. My mate is very simple and if not for her dark past, she could have been a lively person.

“So where do you plan on bringing her?” Lexis asked,

“To my favorite part of the pack, I think,” I replied, smiling, and I started to think about the plans. The two left my office while I thought of the food that we would bring on our date. The place that I was going to take her to was my favorite spot when I wanted to be alone and think about my mother. Then, when I found out about my siblings, I stayed there as well, thinking about the plans I would make when the time for me to find them arrived. It was a special place for me since it was also my dad’s special place as it is where he would take my mom for a date as well. Thinking about it, I was glad that Dad had told me a lot of things about him and my mother. That way, I was able to deal with my mate and make her happy.

Before the day ended, I had decided and I had a concrete plan for our date. I just hope that nothing is going to happen and hope that we will be able to spend our day together comfortably as always. I will also tell her about what I did to her and the moon goddess. Please make her understand my reason and don’t let her get mad at me.
