Chapter Hundred
3 months later
The whole Pack was here waiting to witness the Alpha and Luna get married. I never thought I’d be the Luna of this Pack. Oscar was picked over his brother and Ajax was ready to throw everything to hell and leave. Now he was outside in the backyard of the Pack house. I didn’t realize it was that big.
“You look beautiful, Delanie,” Ainsley said. She ran a hand over her small baby bump.
“I can’t wait until this little guy’s born so Ross and I can have our ceremony.”
“I can’t wait to plan it and decorate the baby’s room.”
“You’re doing all the work. I’m only four months in but I’m exhausted.”
I giggled. A knock came at the door. It was so faint I barely heard it.
“Come in,” I said.
The door opened and Annika waved at us. She was in her Grandfather’s arms dressed in a cute white puffy gown and adorable white heels.
“Aww, there’s the little princess!” Ainsley cooed.
Her bluish-green eyes twinkled as she curiously took in the makeshift dressing room.
“Hey sweetie,” I said receiving her from my Dad.
“Everyone’s waiting for you, Delanie,” Dad said.
I nodded. “I’m ready.”
Ready to face my Pack. The people who welcomed me when all hope was lost. I was content my daughter wouldn’t grow up the way I did. She would have all the love she deserved and a future full of possibilities.
Annika went to Ainsley while I took my Dad’s arm. I was punctual this time but Ajax was still impatient. I could hear Ross telling him to calm down it wasn’t even time to start yet.
Ever since the Pack became a protectorate of the moon goddess Ajax developed a white streak in his hair. It was sexy. Ajax was already hot but the white streak added to his appeal. He paused when we saw me coming towards him in my white dress.
He smiled brightly.
“I’m proud of you, Delanie. Wherever your Mother is I know she’s proud too.”
“Do you think so?” I whispered.
“Of course. Alexandra loved you so much she wanted you to live. She’d be happy to know you didn’t just live but thrived.”
“That means a lot to me, Dad.”
We stopped in front of my mate. The ceremony was because of the Pack but Ajax had always been mine.
“Take care of my daughter, Ajax,” Dad warned.
Ajax grinned. “Always.”
He took my hands. “You look beautiful.”
“Thank you,” I blushed.
“I almost don’t want to rip it off you later tonight,” he grinned.
“Shh… stop,” I whispered. “The ceremony’s about to begin.”

“Where are you taking me?” I asked as we waded through the rocks and branches in the forest behind the pack house.
We could still hear the music and laughter from the Pack house.
“Somewhere private.”
“Won’t we have enough privacy when we leave for our honeymoon?”
He chuckled. “I can’t wait to have you all to myself.”
“Annika won’t like that,” I giggled.
“I love my princess, but I need alone time with my wife. Maybe to make her brother.”
Speaking of brother. Oscar wasn’t among the crowd celebrating the new Alpha and Luna. He demanded land outside the Pack so he could be alone. Ajax agreed. Shaina resigned as Pack doctor and lived with Ajax. At least they were happy and could raise their baby in peace.
“There’s something I’ve got to tell you,” he started.
“What?” I took his hands and squeezed.
“Dimitri knew Oscar had something to do with Rebecca’s death. For the sake of Oscar’s child, I made a deal with Dimitri. I gave him two tribe packs and my support in case he was ever attacked. I didn’t want any more bloodshed.”
“Oh, baby. That’s incredible. I hate that Oscar doesn’t even appreciate that.”
“Doesn’t matter. As long as nothing stresses us for the next couple of years I’m good. Now, do you want to slip out of that dress?” he grinned mischievously.
“Didn’t you want to rip it off?” I raised a brow.
“I do but you’ve been teasing me about a race. I’m going to prove to you that I’m faster and we’re going to settle this.”
“Oh, how romantic,” I said sarcastically.
“I know,” he grinned. “Save the dress for later when I really rip it off your sexy body.”
A little shiver went through me. “You’re going to regret underestimating me. I may be three times smaller than you but I’m crazy fast.”
Ajax pulled his shirt off and dumped it near a tree. I enjoyed the striptease that I forgot I should be getting undressed too.
“We’ll see about that,” he smirked.
Once we were both undressed. I summoned my wolf, Odette. It took Ajax a second to change into his wolf. He had a terrifying wolf with a healthy and majestic coat. While my bones still cracked and my muscles burned while I shifted. I was still getting used to it.
“Don’t be upset when you lose mate,” he said through our mate bond.
“Finish line’s Raven Creek. Go!”
He started off before I could untangle myself. I played myself I thought. Ajax underestimated me. I was lighter than him which made it easier to zoom and jump over the logs and rocks.
“I think you’re just old,” I taunted him through our link.
“Why did you have to pick a finish line that was so far away?” he grunted in response.
We reached Raven Creek. I shifted back to my human form and jumped victoriously.
“I won!”
Ajax panted. “Yeah, my little wolf’s faster than me.”
I grabbed his face and kissed him. He growled and kissed me back.
He picked me off the ground and wrapped my legs around his waist.
“Fuck. I can’t wait to start the honeymoon.”
“Why don’t we start now?” I whispered, brushing my nose against his.
We were in the middle of nowhere miles from the nearest person.
“Ajax, thanks for saving me by the lake that day,” I rasped, a lump forming in my throat.
“Thanks for agreeing to my deal.”
I burst out laughing. “The deal to be your sex slave?”
He grinned. “For agreeing to be in my life. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”
“Me either.”
