Chapter 106 Why Not?
The villa where Anne lived was a three-story building, and except for her room, the rest were mostly guest rooms.
At Windsor Manor, each family member had their own villa. Remy resided in the neighboring villa, and this one belonged to Dorian.
Anne was worn out from searching all the guest rooms. By the time she got to the third floor, she was too tired to keep going and plopped down on some comfy sofas in the corner lounge area.
"Looking for me?"
Anne jumped at the sudden voice. She squinted and saw Dorian lounging on the sofa across from her, a cigarette in his hand.
She caught a whiff of smoke and frowned. Dorian quickly put out his cigarette and snapped, "Why are you wandering around at night instead of sleeping?"
Anne had come to check on him, but his random scolding made her face go cold. "Yeah, I shouldn't be wandering around worrying about your injury. I'll go back now!"
She stood up and had just taken a step when she tripped over the corner of the table and fell sideways.
Before she could even scream, Dorian, like he had night vision, reached out and pulled her into his arms.
Still in shock, Anne realized Dorian's strong arm was wrapped tightly around her waist, squeezing so hard it felt like it was pressing into her bones.
Her heart raced, and almost instinctively, she tried to push his arm away, but he held her tight.
Dorian lowered his lashes, making it hard to read his emotions. His voice was cold. "You were just looking for me everywhere, and now you can't wait to throw yourself into my arms. When did you get so attached to me?"
"I didn't."
"Or is it that the bar experience left you wanting more?"
Anne blushed at his words. Suddenly, her neck felt hot as Dorian's lips came close, and he suck hard on her skin.
His lips were hot, his tongue curling around her neck, and his teeth occasionally biting gently.
It seemed like he was deliberately finding that sensitive spot to rub and lick, which sent shivers through her body.
Anne's legs went weak, and desire surged within her. It felt like Dorian had drained her strength, and she collapsed under his weight.
As she fell, she could feel the heat of Dorian's aroused manhood through the thin layers of fabric that separated them.
Anne panted heavily, trying to stand up, but Dorian grabbed her chin firmly and kissed her.
His breathing by her neck became more rapid and heavy, the hot air blowing into her ear like fire.
The more Anne struggled, the more fiercely Dorian kissed her. She could clearly feel his arousal growing, as if it was about to break through the fabric at any moment.
"Dorian, stop it. Let me go." She was sweating, trying to snap Dorian out of it.
But Dorian was clearly controlled by his desire, clinging to her and refusing to let go.
Anne could only endure the heat in her body and bit down hard. The taste of blood immediately spread between their lips and teeth.
Dorian paused, and Anne took the chance to break free, covering her bleeding lips and moving to the corner of the sofa.
"Don't come any closer. If you do, I'll..."
"What will you do?" Dorian half-closed his eyes, leaning back on the sofa, looking at her with lingering interest.
"I'll smash this vase on you, so you can't show your face tomorrow!"
Anne picked up a vase and threatened Dorian. Seeing that he didn't make any further moves, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Seeing the blood at the corner of his mouth and the unhandled injuries on his face, Anne couldn't bear it and went to find a first aid kit. She used tweezers to pick up a cotton ball soaked in iodine and slowly approached Dorian.
"I'm warning you, I'm going to treat your wounds now. Don't try anything funny, got it?"
Dorian didn't speak, and Anne took his silence as agreement. She moved very close to Dorian, her thigh brushing against his. She focused entirely on Dorian's face, and because the light was too dim, she had to get very close to see the wound clearly. She carefully applied the iodine.
While she was focused on treating the wound, she felt a tickling sensation on the side of her neck. It turned out Dorian was being restless again, rubbing his high-bridged nose against her neck, his thin lips slightly parted, unable to resist lightly sucking on the skin of her neck.
Anne trembled, her head tilting back, and quickly covered her neck. "Are you a vampire? Why do you keep biting my neck?"
"Vampires like blood, but I like your body."
With that, Dorian's hot breath washed over her, and he instantly stole her breath away.
Dorian, like a beast starved to the extreme, fiercely and dominantly devour his prey.
Anne's arms were braced against his chest, trying to escape the intense sense of invasion. But Dorian's strong arms encircled her waist, easily holding her struggling body in place.
His tongue pried open her lips, forcefully invading, mercilessly sweeping over every hidden part of her mouth.
The faint scent of mint on him invaded her body along with his lips and tongue.
His breath was intoxicating.
Anne's struggle gradually weakened, her arms shifting from pushing to unconsciously embracing him, her tongue actively reaching out to meet his.
A strong sense of dizziness rushed to her head, a powerful throb rising from her heart, her blood vessels and heart pounding, even her scalp tingling.
Dorian's hand reached under her skirt, moving forward, and Anne shivered all over, instantly regaining her senses.
"No." Anne quickly pushed Dorian away and turned to run, leaving Dorian leaning on the sofa alone.
"Why not?" Dorian sighed.
The next morning, Remy, full of energy, was ready to go out and bring Anne back.
She had already allowed Anne to stay out for three days and couldn't let her stay out any longer. If her nutrition couldn't keep up, it wouldn't be good. But Luca informed her that Anne and Dorian had returned last night.
Remy's curiosity was piqued. "Did they come back together?"
"Yes. And Mr. Windsor brought back a guest, saying it was Ms. Percy's brother!"
"That's wonderful!" Remy clapped her hands together.
"I was just wondering how to reconcile the two of them! Anne's brother came at the right time. As long as we win him over and let him be the peacemaker, Anne and Dorian will be back to normal in no time!"
