Chapter 121

Chapter 121

Victoria hadn't even realized what was happening.

The photo in her hand was snatched away by a large hand.

She looked up to see Martin glaring at her furiously, tearing the photo in half again.

"Martin, what gives you the right to tear my photo? Give it back!" Victoria panicked instantly, standing on her tiptoes trying to reach for the photo in his hand.

Seeing how anxious she was, how much she loved this stupid photo, Martin's anger exploded. "You like it that much? Aaron is this man, isn't he?"

"Give it back! Martin, you have no right to tear my photo!"

Victoria tried to grab the torn photo from Martin's hand.

He suddenly pushed the window open, and a cold wind rushed in, scattering her beautiful curly hair.

Her hair blew across Martin's face, and for a moment he seemed dazed.

"Give me back the photo!"

Victoria was almost in tears.

Martin held the torn pieces in his hand and suddenly threw them out the window.

The photo fell like a butterfly with broken wings, dropping hopelessly.

The window was closed again.

Victoria cursed "bastard" under her breath, then turned and ran toward the door. She wanted to go downstairs to pick it up and glue it back together.

But her waist was gripped tightly by Martin's large hand. "Haven't you had enough of your date?"

"Martin, you animal! Let me go!"

Victoria cried in anger, feeling a tightness in her chest and an indescribable sourness in her throat.

But he refused to let go, so she bent down and bit hard on the wrist that was holding her waist.

She used a lot of force, and soon there was a taste of blood in her mouth.

This action undoubtedly enraged Martin.

He picked her up and threw her roughly onto the bed like she was garbage.

She struggled to get up, but was pressed back down by his heavy body.

"Martin, you animal! You bastard! Bastard, let me go! What gives you the right to treat me like this?" Victoria cursed, using both her hands and feet.

Just as Martin was about to kiss her, a slap landed squarely on his handsome face that looked as cold as frost.

His face instantly turned red. He grabbed Victoria's wrist, making her cry out in pain, "Why? I'll tell you why! Because we're not divorced yet! Because you're my enemy's daughter, and you need to atone for that. Is that reason enough?"

Victoria's teeth bit down on the back of his hand again, and her untrimmed nails dug and scratched viciously at the back of his hand. Soon his hand was covered with bloody scratches, the skin torn open.

Martin was driven crazy by Victoria. It wasn't enough that she went out fooling around, she even glued back together the photo he had torn up!

Did she think he was dead?

Who gave her the nerve to play him like this?

Victoria felt like a fish on the verge of death, making its final, hopeless struggle.

"Martin, you're not human! You're worse than an animal! If I had known you approached me for revenge, to destroy the Gonzalez family! I would never have fallen for you, even if you killed me!"

"How could I fall for a heartless, cold-blooded man like you? Go ahead! Martin, go die, someone like you is destined for a bad end! You'll go to hell!"

"Even if I die, even as a ghost I'll haunt you, haunt you for lifetime after lifetime, so you can't even be a ghost!"

Victoria broke down crying, sobbing and kicking at him continuously.

Victoria's humiliated and desperate tears burst out, "Martin!"

"Victoria, I'm warning you one last time, my patience is very limited, stop throwing tantrums! Remember the terms of the contract! Don't ever think about running off with another man in this lifetime. You only need to do one thing in this life, and that's be tortured by me until you die!"

Looking at Victoria's angry yet helpless expression, Martin seemed very satisfied. "You were the one who came to me wanting to make a deal. You have no right to back out halfway!"

"If I catch you getting close to Aaron again, it won't be as simple as withholding your father's medical fees! I'll kill him directly!"

As he said this, Martin straightened his clothes, his eyes cold without a trace of warmth, and left, slamming the door.

Victoria was disheveled, with light scratches on her neck and skin. She slid down along the wall, hugged her knees, closed her eyes, and big tears fell down.

Landing on the back of her hands, on her knees.

Victoria didn't want to continue this humiliating life for even one more day!

But fate had left her with no way out. From the moment she fell for Martin, from the moment she married him, her fate had reached a dead end, and there was no way out.

She regretted it so much, she regretted that she had been so blind as to fall for an orphan from a poor background.

At the same time, Victoria felt so tired. Fortunately she had a terminal illness, fortunately she wouldn't live much longer, otherwise these dark days would truly be hell.

Victoria wanted to die, but she didn't dare. If she died, what would happen to Aria? Hayden hadn't woken up yet, and the Gonzalez family was being eyed by many people, waiting for it to collapse so they could divide it up.

So even if Martin tortured her to the point of pain and sadness, she had no choice but to grit her teeth and keep going, to walk this path to the very end in darkness.

She had no other option.

Thinking of this, Victoria wiped her tears.

Just then, the phone in the master bedroom suddenly rang.

She stood up from the floor. Her knees were a bit numb from crouching for so long, and she limped to the master bedroom and picked up the phone. It was Aaron calling.

Aaron's name was Martin's danger zone.

But she thought, Martin had already left, and maybe Aaron really had something important. After hesitating, she answered the call, "Mr. Hill, did you call about something?"

"I've been thinking about it, and I still want to tell you something about your husband Mr. Collins. I think he does care about you. He doesn't dislike you as much as he shows."
