Chapter 276 Going Out for Fun

Chapter 276 Going Out for Fun

Quinn hummed, "You're lying."

Sienna smiled confidently, "I swear I'm telling the truth. If you don't believe me, ask your uncle."

Quinn was so angry that his face turned red, but he couldn't find words to refute her. He sat there sulking and glaring at her.

Sienna found his angry look adorable, so she ruffled his hair in an attempt to appease him, saying, "Alright."

Quinn brushed off her hand and left without looking back.

He really was just a kid.

Sienna chuckled, rolled around on the bed feeling content, and fell asleep peacefully.

The next day after breakfast, Sam went to work, and Sienna thought since they still had a week to spend together, she forcefully dragged Quinn out to play, trying to repair their relationship in the process.

This affluent area was vast and sparsely populated, and Sienna didn't have a car. After checking the map on her phone for a while, she found that the nearest bus stop was several miles away, at least a thirty-minute walk.

Quinn, wearing a small round hat and a navy blue outfit, looked fair and cute, but he kept pouting, clearly unhappy.

He frowned. "Can't you even read a map? So clueless."

Sienna put away her phone. "I know the direction now, let's go."

Quinn couldn't believe it. "You want me to just walk there?"

"What's wrong?" Sienna deliberately didn't mention the bus stop. "Isn't it just a walk to the city center? I'm a girl and I can walk, can't you as a boy?"

Quinn exploded, "I'm only six years old!"

"Exactly, kids should act like kids," Sienna teased.

"I want to take a car!" Quinn raised his voice. "I don't care, I'm not walking without a car!"

"Well, that's a problem," Sienna sighed. "Although I have a driver's license, I haven't driven in many years. It would be troublesome if something happened on the road."

Quinn was on the verge of losing it. "You don't even know how to drive a car?"

Sienna was puzzled. "I don't have a car, so why should I know how to drive one?"

This revelation shocked Quinn. "You don't have a car? Are there people in this world without cars?"

"Sorry," Sienna forced a smile. "I'm one of the few, part of the impoverished class without even a car."

"Then how did my uncle fall for you!" Quinn had a look of a collapsed worldview. "There must be something else that attracted my uncle to you! How come you don't know anything!"

'Sorry, I attracted Matthew with my body.' Sienna answered silently in her mind.

"So what do you suggest?" Sienna crossed her arms, looking calm. "Since I don't have a car, either walk with me or stay at home for the next week. This place is so remote, if any bad people show up, screaming won't help because no one will hear you."

Quinn visibly shrank a bit, showing that even a mentally mature child was easily scared by such talk.

After hesitating for a while, he finally said reluctantly, "I know where my uncle's car is parked. You can drive that. If it wasn't so far, I wouldn't let you touch my uncle's things."

Sienna realized that Quinn was actually a fan of Matthew.

No wonder when they first met yesterday, Quinn was so hostile towards her. He probably thought she was the big villain who stole his uncle.

Sienna said, "Having a car doesn't help, I'm not good at driving."

Quinn was almost driven to madness by her, speaking harshly, "I can! I'll teach you while you drive!"

"In that case, why don't you just drive?" Sienna grinned. "Why go through all this trouble?"

"You..." Quinn was exasperated. "I'm only six! I can't even reach the brakes!"

"Right," Sienna feigned realization. "I forgot that you're not as tall as my leg. Don't be mad, getting angry won't make you taller."

Quinn took a deep breath and walked away.

Sienna laughed behind him. She found it surprisingly fun to have a kid around. Of course, Quinn was too smart, and she treated him like half an adult. If he were an ordinary child, he would have cried long ago.

Quinn directed Sienna to enter the garage code, and as the door gradually opened, a discreet black Ferrari appeared before them.

After Quinn reluctantly gave her some instructions, Sienna smoothly drove onto the road.

She already knew how to drive, but it had been a while, and the Ferrari was a car with excellent handling. The only downside was its high sensitivity, but after stepping on the gas a few times, she got the hang of it.

She glanced at Quinn in the passenger seat, who was pale, staring intently ahead, gripping the seatbelt tightly, not daring to move.

Sienna, mischievously, intentionally accelerated and braked sharply a few times after they were on the road, as the area was sparsely populated and the road was clear.

But even though Quinn was scared to tears, he stubbornly refused to ask Sienna to slow down, gritting his teeth. Seeing this, Sienna felt sorry and didn't scare him for the rest of the journey.

They drove all the way to the city center. Sienna originally planned to take Quinn to the mall, but considering he had just returned from Unity Republic and they had enough money at home, he probably had enough of shopping malls.

So she decided to take him to see something new, make some friends, and teach him not to be so sarcastic at such a young age.

With a firm decision, Sienna made a turn towards the largest children's amusement center in the city.

Although it was called a children's amusement center, it was actually a huge parent-child playground. It not only had play facilities like bouncy castles but also the best children's stores, family restaurants, and more. In short, it was a paradise for children.

Quinn had never been there before and curiously looked out through the car window. After all, he was just a six-year-old kid, and all those colorful things were very attractive to him.

After parking the car, Sienna planned to take Quinn around first.

As soon as they got out of the car, they attracted the attention of others in the parking lot. Although there were many wealthy people in the city, the combination of a young girl driving a Ferrari with a child was not common.

Sienna even heard someone mutter, "Another mistress mom, poor kid."

Sienna found such baseless speculations amusing and just shrugged it off. But Quinn, on the other hand, angrily retorted, "She's not my mom! How could she have a smart kid like me! Stop talking nonsense."

Sienna facepalmed, not sure who to be more annoyed with.

The person who muttered earlier didn't expect Quinn to dare to talk back. The situation was a bit awkward with many people in the parking lot, and they just grunted, "If she's not your mom, why are you with her? Don't you have a mom?"

The remark was too harsh, and the surrounding people booed. Sienna also got angry.

She picked up Quinn, comforting his trembling body due to excessive anger, and said with a smile, "So you didn't have a mom since childhood, I see. If necessary, I can reluctantly play the role of your mother."

The person got angry, "Why are you so rude! Who said I don't have a mom?"

Sienna smiled slowly, emphasizing each word, "Then why do you lack manners? Your mom didn't teach you?"

Noticing more people gathering around, the person didn't dare to argue further. After giving Sienna a fierce look, they quickly walked away.

Sienna patted Quinn's back. "Alright, let's go play."

Quinn struggled to jump out of her arms, muttering, "Stop meddling."

"Okay, I meddled, shouldn't have interfered with your performance, right?" She chuckled, "I know I was wrong. I'll take you to eat something delicious later. Can you forgive me?"

Quinn still turned his head away, not letting Sienna see his face. "I'm not eating."

"Fine, if you don't want to eat, we'll do something else." Sienna forcibly turned his face towards her, and to her surprise, Quinn's eyes were red and teary.

Startled, she said, "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

"I'm not crying!" Quinn pushed her away. "It's none of your business."

Sienna squatted down, looking at him. "Miss your mom?"

Quinn finally couldn't hold back and started crying out loud.

For the next hour, Sienna was frantically trying to comfort Quinn in the parking lot. Quinn might have matured too early, and one of the consequences of being mentally mature was that he couldn't throw tantrums like a normal child. Quinn was used to suppressing his emotions, so when he finally let himself cry freely, he couldn't stop.

Sienna wiped his tears for a long time, her legs going numb, until his crying finally subsided.

But even with hiccups from crying, Quinn still threatened her, "If you dare to tell my uncle, I'll... I'll..."

Sienna picked him up. "Alright, alright. You know I'm not very smart, soI'll forget what happened today after a good night's sleep."

"You're really dumb, aren't you?" Quinn gave her a disdainful look.

Sienna fell silent. This naughty kid.

Seeing him shed so many tears, Sienna decided to go to the third floor to have a drink and replenish their fluids.

The third floor was full of dessert and beverage stalls, and in the middle was a huge children's play area where many kids were happily playing.

Quinn, a clean and tidy little boy, sat on a chair like an adult, drinking juice quietly, not causing any trouble. Many parents who brought their little "troublemakers" there envied him.

A plump mother approached Sienna, "Is he your child? He's so cute! He looks so sensible."

Sienna chuckled awkwardly. "I'm not his mom, his mom is abroad."

"No wonder, he's so clean! My kid is always running around causing trouble!"

She pointed to her own child, a girl with braided hair, who, despite being a bit tanned, was quite pretty.

The little girl was also drawn to Quinn. She stared at him for a while, but when she realized he wasn't paying attention to her, she tugged at Quinn's sleeve and coquettishly said, "Can you play with me?"

Quinn quickly pulled back his sleeve and said seriously, "I don't like kids. Too childish."

Sienna facepalmed in silence. 'Quinn, you're going to end up with no friends.'
