Chapter 268 Three men surrounding her
Chapter 268 Three men surrounding her
Sienna gazed quietly at the collar in her hand.
It had been less than twenty hours since she put on the collar and took it off, but her state of mind was completely different from when she first put it on.
Sam, such a reserved and deep person who never showed any extra emotions in front of her, actually chose those words.
Matthew's standard elegant British accent was indeed pleasant, but it was completely overshadowed by the sound of her heartbeat.
Was it really true that "but I just look at her, all the tenderness, the heart"?
Was she this "her"?
Matthew looked at Sam on the sofa and said, "Mr. Johnson, am I explaining it correctly?"
Sienna nervously looked at Sam, who remained calm even when the collar split open with the correct password, making it impossible to guess his thoughts through facial expressions.
"Partly right, partly wrong," Sam said lightly, "455 is just a file number, it has nothing to do with that book."
Matthew further inquired, "Then why just this number? As far as I know, you handle at least dozens of files every day, right?"
"455 was on top, I just saw it at a glance."
Matthew pursed his lips slightly, obviously a bit unwilling. "If you don't mind, can I take a look?"
Sam smiled, "Of course, it's right next to you, feel free."
Matthew didn't hesitate to start searching, and Sienna also stretched her neck to look. Unexpectedly, he did find a file numbered 455, which contained just ordinary official correspondence, nothing special.
"But this one doesn't seem to be on top."
"These are all processed, handling official business is not done in order, it's not an experiment."
Sam's answer was seamless, so Matthew had to give up. He chuckled self-deprecatingly, "I read a bit about deductive reasoning recently, thought I had learned something, but it turns out it was just a coincidence."
Sienna was also very frustrated.
Her disappointed expression was so obvious that Floyd, who had been observing her reactions all along, felt jealous. If it weren't for so many people around, he would definitely have pulled her over and given her a good spanking.
If she liked to hear some sweet words from a book, he could recite it to her a hundred times, no big deal.
Was she really that disappointed after being denied by Sam?
"Alright," Floyd turned to Matthew, "the collar is off now. If there's nothing else, I'll call the two people at the door to take you back."
Apparently, he wanted to enjoy the pie alone.
Of course, Matthew understood his meaning and smiled kindly, "There's no rush for that. I took time off before coming here, I also need to rest properly."
"Isn't that inappropriate?" Floyd pretended to care, "You are a top talent of the country, how many projects will have to be put on hold for this break? The international situation is precarious now, how can you put personal interests above national interests?"
Sienna showed a look of amusement, "Floyd, since when did you start caring about international affairs?"
"Just listen to me, no need to butt in."
After confirming that Matthew was not planning to leave for a while, the atmosphere in the room gradually changed.
The three men each occupied a corner of the room, although Sienna was in Floyd's arms, everyone knew that the ultimate winner was the one who could take her away.
Sienna was completely unaware of the hidden currents beneath the calm surface of the lake, she was just puzzled why everyone suddenly fell silent.
"This is not a solution," Matthew suddenly said out of the blue, but only Sienna and Sam understood the meaning.
Sam said, "Let her choose for herself."
Sienna blinked in confusion. "Me? Choose what?"
"Do you think we are fools?" Floyd sneered, "She was brought out by you, who she will choose is clear enough, right?"
Sienna belatedly realized that they were indeed talking about her, "So what exactly am I supposed to choose?"
Sam also smiled, but his smile was sharper, "Lacking confidence in yourself?"
Floyd said, "Nonsense. Don't I know you? Just trying to deceive."
"Let's make it a competition," Matthew interjected, "How about poker? Or chess?"
This suggestion was immediately vetoed by both Floyd and Sam, as any proposal related to numbers would not be approved as long as Matthew was present.
Matthew sighed, "We can't keep lingering here."
Gritting his teeth, Floyd seemed to make a big decision, "Forget it. Let's share, sleep in the same bed, so we don't have to bother with dividing."
Matthew's smile froze for a moment, and Sam was even more blunt in his retort, "Do you think everyone is like you?"
"What are you pretending for? I don't believe you two haven't thought about it! Isn't it just a matter of time? Can you really let go?"
It had to be said that Floyd did have an almost animalistic intuition, although he was not as analytical as Matthew or as deep as Sam, he had long sensed their deep obsession with Sienna.
Even though they all concealed it well.
No one would let go; how to share was a problem they would eventually face.
Sienna was already tired of thinking about what they were talking about. After waiting for so long, her stomach was rumbling, despite drinking water all along, her stomach still made a loud noise.
Coincidentally, the three men were silent, and their eyes all turned to her involuntarily.
Sienna blushed, feeling ashamed as she lowered her head deeply.
Why was her stomach so unreliable! She had eaten well before coming, it had only been a few hours!
None of the three men said anything, but her stomach made noise, making her feel embarrassed.
Sam stood up first, "It's about time, let's eat."
If they didn't eat, who knew how long the standoff would last.
This suggestion naturally received unanimous approval, but a disagreement arose on where to eat and what to eat.
"Let's go to the Radiant Pearl Hotel," Floyd casually suggested, "Sienna mentioned to me that she likes their steak."
Matthew chuckled, "I think Whispering Willow is more suitable, she had two servings of lasagna there last time."
Sienna blushed even more. She did finish two servings, but did he have to bring it up?
Sam's gaze fell on her. "What do you want to eat?"
Sienna weakly spoke up, "I want to eat spicy chicken stir-fry alone."
She emphasized "alone."
Her suggestion was accepted in the end—the four of them went together.
Sienna stared at the food brought by the restaurant owner for four people, feeling exhausted. The only consolation was that because she was going out, Sam allowed her to remove the butt plug and wear normal clothes.
But even so, she was almost publicly embarrassed by Floyd, who tried to take out the rabbit tail butt plug in front of everyone. Fortunately, she had locked the bathroom door quickly enough.
And the original intention of suggesting spicy chicken stir-fry was definitely to make the three men back off, even scaring off one would have been fine, but why were they all sitting upright next to the chairs and not moving?
Just a few bites, and Sienna lost her appetite. She glanced at the three men, unable to bear the pressure of their gazes. "Aren't you eating?"
Matthew shook his head. "It's too spicy. I can't handle it."
Sienna knew he had a delicate stomach; last time when they had that spicy spaghetti, it was already too much for him.
Floyd was busy shooting his glare back at the curious gazes from other. In this small diner—220 square feet at most—the three men were especially conspicuous to the others customers, who were just locals. And their striking red sports car only fueled everyone's curiosity further.
And Sam, what about his cleanliness obsession? Their table was far from cleaning, yet he just went along with it?
If this continued, she couldn't bear it!
Being stared at by so many people, even the spiciest food tasted bland.
A long, slender finger suddenly reached out, and Sienna stopped her movements in confusion. Then, that finger gently lifted the hair on her neck and tucked it behind her ear.
Matthew spoke, "Sienna, what's the story behind this tooth mark?"
Why was everyone so interested in this tooth mark? She should have just kept the collar on.
"It's nothing, just a bite from someone," she vaguely brushed it off.
"By whom? Do I know them?"
"...Maybe."
Matthew bit his lip lightly, looking somewhat aggrieved, " You've told Sam and Floyd, right? Why not tell me?"
Sienna couldn't stand his show of weakness the most. Like a beauty in a painting, looking at you with those eyes, even the password to the safe at home would be revealed.
She cleared her throat. "It was Andrew."
