Natalia POV
I drove down to the dermatologist with my Mercedes Benz and made my way in. Linda already knew I was coming so she was waiting for me at the entrance of her floor. "Greetings, my friend, the youngest professor, the guru in medicine, the latest world celebrity, role model of millions of people..." Linda started ranting. "Could you just stop? I never expected that your too much of watching ancient series has gotten into your head this much," I said, and she laughed. "Besides, I'm not the only one who became a professor; Jeremy, Karl and Clara did as well", I added as we walked.
"Actually, you are quite popular, if I may say. Many people have started asking for your IG name and all your social media names, which means you are not leaving here today without creating one of each. As I have noticed, you have none," she said, and I blushed in embarrassment.
We got deeper into her spa room and she started her work. "Have you heard?" she said. "Heard what?" I asked. "That some people, big people, wealthy influential big people have been trying to take over your father's assets, and they are much more active now. It's said that they are even pressuring the government to release those original documents. The person who has been managing the company wanted to leave and meet with you after he watched all those events but was confined in his mansion with nowhere to go. They dare not kill him yet because he is much more useful alive than dead" she said, a smile never leaving her face.
'My father's companies? I thought they were gone for a long time? So they were still there and intact? And based on her words, I'm a threat to them in taking over the assets. That's why they picked up pace immediately, but..." I turned to Linda. "But how do you know all this? Who are you?" I asked, and she was still smiling whilst she did her job, not saying anything.
"And that was what she said," I said to Jake at the dining table, and Kane and Brian were there as well. Jake didn't react when he heard he and kept on eating for a while before he stopped "I should have noticed that Linda is no ordinary dermatologist. How can a small girl build such a thing at that age? From which income? It's all making sense now, and for the fact that she didn't do anything to you showed that she wasn't an enemy" he said.
Of course, I noticed that after she hinted at those things she still completed her session with me, and helped me open accounts on IG, Fb and the rest of them and immediately I was made know I'm surprised that more than one million had started following me in each of those accounts and I know that before long it won't be millions but maybe tens of millions.
"You didn't say anything about my father's assets, though," I said. "I already know... I'm sure your mother has found out already and just like her I was waiting for your school to complete, no one expected this to happen, girl, no one ever thought that you would be this intelligent which ended up flipping all their plans over forcing them to take action that they originally didn't want to take, at least this soon" he said and sighed.
"If my twins were here, it would be much easier, but they are not..." he paused again. "I guess I have no option but to work with the government and fight them, at least till Adrain and Nate come back. Hopefully, they will because I have already seen that the government won't last long on this pressure as someone much more powerful is behind all these" Jake said and stood up. "Who would that be?" I couldn't help but ask. Why would such a person target my things? Did I offend him at all?
"Don't worry, baby girl, you will find out sooner", he said and left the room immediately Kane followed, leaving only Brian and me there.
Third Person POV
In an unknown place, two gods stood tall, looking far at nothing. "She has really made us proud," one of them said. "She has indeed", the second one responded before adding with a little anger, "And those ants have started acting. They think that Marco will be able to protect them for long? I swear when we succeed and return, I will make a trip to each and every one of those families and wipe them all out of this earth, but that will be after giving Marco the beating of his life," the second one said.
"We will teach them a lesson, but let's succeed first. What is holding us back is the final step, which will determine our outcome. Are you ready to take it?" the first asked. "Of course let's take it. If not why are we even here in the first place?" the second asked. "You are right, come on, let's head over,", the first said, and the two disappeared.
Third Person POV
In a dark throne room, a handsome male sat on the throne in the middle of the room, but due to the anger on his face that made him frown in so many ways, he looked a little hideous "All of you go and find those twins. Not seeing them in this domain world is making me feel unease. No matter what it takes, find them. If you want, destroy the Rumez family, their Mansions and all the rest as long as you find them.
"My Lord, I think it's not a good idea to destroy that family. The other two lords will..." But before the subordinate could finish his words, the male on the throne, like a flash, was right next to him, a small knife going through his throat, and then he returned back to his throne; at once, the subordinate fell down dead.
