Chapter 48
Clarie was in a dilemma and unfortunately, Lucas kept calling her name on the phone.
"Claire ... Honey," Lucas called from the other side. "Clarie... please open the door, let me in, I'm cold out here honey."
Clarie said nothing, she was confused between opening the door or not, finally she lied. "I'm not at my mother's house, you better go," she said nervously.
"Is it true?"
"Yes, Luke, go away, I don't want to see you."
"But, Clarie-"
"What?" cut Clarie curtly.
"I heard your cell phone ring earlier, it came from inside the house, don't lie, Clarie, you're not very good at that."
Lucas smiled, imagining that his wife was nervously shaking at being caught lying. Lucas knocked on the door again.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"No, you must have heard wrong, besides I'm not the only one using the same ringtone, my sister is using it too, you better get out of there." Clarie was about to press the red telephone icon but Lucas kept trying to persuade her.
"Come on honey don't lie . . . and please let me in, I'm almost freezing out here" Lucas begged, hissing because it was cold.
Clarie felt sorry but she also didn't want to meet her husband yet. She was silent, unable to answer ... she hesitated, but suddenly someone startled her.
"Who's there, Clarie?" Clarie turned to the source of the voice, she reflexively turned off her husband's call. "Who's visiting at night?" asked Silvia, she stared at Clarie for a moment.
"I don't know, ma'am," Clarie replied reluctantly. She hurriedly left and went inside her room. While Silvia rubbed her eyes then slowly stepped forward to open the door.
From behind Clarie heard Lucas' voice faintly.
"Is he right? Not Steve?" Clarie muttered, locked her bedroom door, and climbed into bed.
Lucas put his phone away, hoping Clarie would open the door, he waited with a smile on his face. And ... click!
"Well, you look like Luke? How long has it been?" Silvia opened the front door wide and she stepped back to give Lucas room to enter the house.
"No ma'am, thank you. You haven't slept yet?" Her son-in-law stepped in.
"Ah, I woke up because I heard a knock on the door, I thought Clarie was asleep so I woke up," replied Silvia. She locked the door back then followed behind her son-in-law.
Lucas took off his coat and hung it on a hanger, his right hand full of a bouquet of roses for his wife.
"Sorry ma'am, I didn't have time to stop by to buy souvenirs," Lucas said uncomfortably, he kept walking towards the living room. "Is Clarie asleep? We just spoke on the phone but she's not here."
Lucas looked for his wife, and looked around, but couldn't find her there.
"It's okay son, Clarie is probably in her room, just follow there. I'll heat some food and make some hot tea for you," Silvia said before stepping into the kitchen.
"No need to bother, ma'am, thank you." Lucas nodded respectfully.
"It's okay... there's no such thing as troublesome."
"Thank you very much ma'am, and where is the room?" Lucas asked because he was confused, because he had never stayed at his parents-in-law's house before.
"Ah yes, I forgot," Silvia said smiling, patting her forehead. "That's... the right, the end." Point Silvia to the right.
"Oh, well... I'm going to see Clarie."
"Yes, son." Silvia then went to the kitchen to heat food and make drinks for her daughter-in-law. Meanwhile, Lucas strolled into the room pointed by his mother-in-law, when Lucas arrived at the front of the room, he immediately pressed the handle and pushed the door ... but the door was locked.
"Honey... are you asleep yet?" he asked softly.
Luke knocked on Clarie's room door, the woman heard all the talk of her husband and mother, she was huddled under a thick blanket, she was reluctant to open the door because she was still very annoyed, angry and disappointed in her husband.
"Clarie I beg you... we need to talk, please open the door honey."
There was no response from inside, no sound of footsteps approaching.
"You're in there, Clarie?!"
No answer, Lucas took a deep breath ... no sign of the door opening.
"Clarie ... come on, I'll explain everything," Lucas begged again, he almost gave up.
"Eat first, son, you must not have eaten... let me persuade your wife," Silvia said, who was suddenly beside Lucas, the man was shocked and stroked his chest.
"It's okay, Mom, I'll wait here until Cladie opens the door."
Silvia sighed, shaking her head repeatedly. "Clarie! Open the door now! Aren't you sorry for your husband who has been waiting for you?!" shrieked Silvia as she banged on her eldest daughter's bedroom door.
"Claire!" cried his mother again.
Clarie snorted in annoyance, she always lost when faced with her mother. She removed the blanket then got out of bed, put on slippers and stepped slowly to open the door.
The door opened and Clarie sauntered back to her bed, sitting on the edge.
"Eat first, son, you just need to rest," said Silvia after seeing her daughter open the door for her husband.
"Thank you mom." Lucas nodded then entered his wife's room and swiftly closed the door.
"Why are you taking so long, honey? I've been looking for you everywhere too," Lucas said, sitting next to Clarie. However, his wife turned her back on him, and finally Lucas knelt in front of Clarie, holding out the bouquet of red roses he had brought.
"Please accept, darling, as a token of my apologies to you."
"What are you doing here?!" Clarie snapped without looking at her husband. "Talk and then go, I want to be alone for a while," she added.
"No honey, let's go home together."
"I don't want to go home now, Mr. Henderson," Clarie said, her face irritated and sour.
"I'm sorry honey, I can explain everything, don't ask me to leave you."
Clarie turned her head to glare at her husband. "What else do you want to explain? Everything is clear... you chose to have children from Marion, right? So go back to her, let's just get a divorce," Clarie said spontaneously, that sentence even though she didn't think of it in her mind.
"No, Clarie! I swear we won't get divorced..." Lucas stood up, placing the bouquet on the bed. He then squeezed his wife's shoulder, bent their heads level. "I love you more than anything, and I admit I was wrong at the time. But, that was before Marion and I got divorced-"
"Stop it, Luke, I don't want to hear anything from you!" Clarie cut off Lucas's arms, she burned with emotion at the same time as her tears flooded her white and beautiful face.
" Clarie! I didn't do it after we got divorced," Lucas explained, getting emotional too, Clarie walked away, turned her back and wept nervously.
"Go Luke, I beg you," Clarie pleaded softly, she was facing the wall, covering her face all over. But, Lucas turned his wife's body and hugged her. Clarie broke into tears, she roared, pounding her husband's chest, releasing her frustration which made her chest tight.
"I'm sorry, Clarie, I'll prove that it's not my child."
"Are you sure it's not your son?!" Clarie asked, looking up.
"I'm not sure it's my son, I've been honest with you, honey," Lucas replied softly, cupping his wife's face.
"But Marion said it was your son, Luke, he... there's no way he could have done it with another man..." Lucas wiped away Clarie's tears, kissed his wife briefly on the lips.
"We don't know what was on her mind, Clarie."
Clarie looked down to digest Lucas' words, suddenly her husband grabbed her chin and then gently kissed her lips, Clarie, who missed her husband's caresses, began to be lulled by the little touches she had been waiting for so long. They were burning with a wave of passion, Lucas' kiss became fierce, Clarie subconsciously wrapped her arms around her husband's neck. Lucas' hands went into his wife's pajamas, caressing her groin gently. Clarie let out a stifled sigh.
"Ahh..."
One finger of her husband entered into her core, playing in there, their passion began to flare up, their whole body throbbing. Lucas pulled his finger from the core of his wife's body.
Lucas roughly took off his clothes one by one along with the clothes attached to his wife's body. Lucas immediately took his wife to bed, laying on top of Clarie's body, that woman really missed that. Her glazed eyes asked Lucas to immediately enter her core. Lucas, who was already at the peak of his passion, immediately stabbed his manly rod into his wife's female vagina.
"Aahh ...," both of them sighed as Lucas's was completely immersed and began to move back and forth in his wife's womanly burrow.
