Chapter 44
Chapter 44
“Because its you, you are my jaan and I believe you”, he said kissing her lips.
He was looking at her teary eyes. He could see she was not lying. Aanya looked at him with shocked eyes. She could not believe that she just tell him and he believes her.
"Why do you believe me," she asked and Gabriel kissed her lips and said. "Because it's you. Because you are saying" he said near her lips.
And Aanya could not believe her own ears. When the people around her who knew her nature already did not believe, but he said he believes her. But she saw was he again looking annoyed. In addition, he thrust inside her and she cried in pain. "But How can you defend him in front of me?" he parted her legs again and started pounding himself inside her. he was thrusting speedily and slowly again and again and giving her pain.
He knew Aanya was not lying. but he could see that she was pure and untouched. she was looking afraid when he touched. "l am your husband and when I touch you cries and you defend him and tries to protect him... ha" he stopped and again thrust her like before.
he was going crazy in jealousy. he was clutching and squiseing her breast roughly and pinching them. she was clutching bedsheet tightly. "No, it's not like this. It happened suddenly i did not know he will do something like this he was only trying to help me."
she said and as he heard and increased his speed and prevent to her scream she put her palm on her mouth and crying silently.
after a few minutes, he released inside her and moved from her body. She was breathing hard and Raaz layed beside her and still looking at her.
she was crying and enduring the pain after a few minutes she was trying to get up to find her clothes.
She was still afraid that someone will come and see them like this. As she tried to get up because of pain she fell on the ground but still trying to crawl to her clothes but she felt Raaz pulled him up and covered her body with a blanket and scooped her in his arms.
Raaz took her back to the room and threw her slightly on the bed. She pulled the blanket and sit on the bed, before his doing anything. Because he was still looking at her angrily.
she thought he will do with her again. He came near to her, cupped her face from his one hand, and said. "Now you will only do what I will say. Dare you if you tried to disobey me or try to pull another stunt because I have not forgotten your last time punishment and for that, I have gift for you. which you will get soon. you will never able to run away from me again!!!" he said and left her face.
when he said that he has a gift for her mind stopped working. he saw she was not replied to him and was lost in her own thought. "When I ask you something there should be reply because you know how much I like your voice," he said pulling her blanket from her body and she clutched her blanket tightly and immediately said yes.
he left her blanket and stood up.
She was only crying and not looking at him. "And don't dare to cry next time around me; even I am not around you. From today your new life begins, do you understand!!!"
he shouted and she wiped her tears and said a slow yes to him. it was not good for her health she cries too much. and it was the best way to stop her from crying. "Now go and take a bath and eat now!" He ordered.
She nodded her head but remembered his warning and again said yes to him. she was trying to get up from limping legs, and heading toward the bathroom. he knew she was in pain and as usual, he took her bathroom.
Maid brought their food in the room and he took it from the gate and feed Aanya from his hands and slept with her hugging her.
Sir, l am worried about both of them" Ronit said to Yash.
they both were still sitting on Garden and talking. "l am also worried about them Ronit but you also know without Aanya Raaz's condition, without her he is nothing.
We cant be support of them separately because they are like two bodies and one soul. and you also know why I am saying like this. I have still not forgotten Raaz's condition without her.
Morning filtered through the heavy curtains of the master suite, its pale gold glow catching on the silk sheets, the polished edges of carved furniture, the subtle sheen of gilt frames. For a long moment, silence reigned—broken only by the faint, even rhythm of shared breaths.
Raaz woke first.
Eyes opening slowly, his gaze found Aanya immediately—still tucked against him, soft hair spread across his chest, one hand curled unconsciously near his collarbone. His dark eyes softened, losing the hard glint they wore around others. Here, in this private dawn, there was only her.
His queen. His obsession. His undoing.
She was so painfully innocent even in sleep: brow relaxed, lips parted in a slight sigh. Last night's heated closeness had left her flushed and fragile, her limbs tangled around his as if some part of her had clung to him despite her fears.
Raaz lay perfectly still, watching her breathe. In those moments, a memory returned: the first time he had seen her in the rain—drenched, afraid, defiant—and how something in him had decided, instantly, that she would belong to him. How that desire had festered into obsession, twisting love into possession, need into fury.
He traced her hairline gently with a calloused fingertip. She stirred but didn't wake. His hand slid to cup her cheek, thumb brushing over the faint warmth blooming there. A kiss pressed lightly to her forehead—a king's reverence for his queen, and a man's selfish hunger both.
His chest tightened at the sight: the delicate curve of her shoulder, the soft line of her collarbone half-hidden by the sheets. Every part of her felt precious, his, yet breakable. And he knew, deep down, that he had broken much of her trust to claim her so.
Aanya shifted, breath catching. Slowly, her lashes fluttered open.
At first, confusion blurred her gaze, then sudden panic sharpened it. She realized they were naked beneath the sheets, skin pressed together—his chest against her cheek, his arm heavy around her waist.
"Raaz..." Her voice broke, a startled whisper, fear threading through it. "W-we..."
Before she could pull away, his arm tightened around her, possessive yet oddly gentle. "Jaan," he murmured, voice thick from sleep but soft, "don't start the morning with fear."
She tensed under his hold, staring up at him—searching his face for cruelty, mockery, anything familiar. Instead, she found only quiet intensity, the shadow of a smile at the corner of his mouth.
His hand slid to the back of her neck, drawing her closer. "You're my wife," he said, low and rough, as if the words themselves burned. "And a wife should give her husband a wake-up kiss."
Aanya's heart thundered in her chest, shame and confusion tangling painfully. She tried to turn away, but his grip held firm—though not painful. His thumb traced slow circles on her skin, sending a traitorous shiver up her spine.
"I—Raaz, please," she whispered, breath catching. "Let me—"
Her words died as he leaned in, capturing her mouth in a kiss. Not the brutal, punishing force she'd known before—but not gentle, either. It was claiming, insistent, a promise and a warning entwined. His lips moved against hers until the fear in her chest burned into something else—heat, unwilling and frightening.
She whimpered softly, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. His hand cradled her head, angling her mouth to deepen the kiss, drinking in her reluctant response like a starving man.
When he finally pulled back, his gaze was molten, hunger barely leashed. "That's better," he rasped, breath warm against her skin. "See, jaan? You can be soft when you choose to be."
She swallowed hard, lips tingling, heart pounding so fiercely it hurt. "I didn't choose," she managed, voice shaking.
For a moment, something almost like regret flickered in his eyes—then vanished, replaced by iron determination. "But you will," he murmured. "One day, you'll kiss me first."
Aanya turned her face away, ashamed of the tremor in her hands. His fingers traced down her bare arm, each touch sparking confusion and fear in her chest. Part of her wanted to slap his hand away; part of her wanted to curl into his warmth, to find safety even in the man who had stolen hers.
They lay together like that for a moment longer—her body stiff, his completely relaxed, as if her closeness was the only truth he'd ever known.
Finally, Raaz drew back slightly, resting on his elbow to look down at her. His gaze roamed over her face, hair tangled on the pillow, her skin flushed. His hand cupped her cheek again, thumb brushing her lower lip. "You're so beautiful when you wake," he murmured. "Innocent. Mine."
Aanya flinched, eyes glistening. "Don't call me that," she whispered. "I'm not yours, Raaz."
A dangerous silence settled. His eyes darkened—not with anger, but with that deeper, more terrifying obsession. He leaned closer, breath hot against her ear. "You are, jaan. You've been mine from the moment you kissed me in that alley. And even before."
She shook her head, words failing her. Tears slipped down her cheeks. "I was trying to save you..."
"And you did," he murmured, lips grazing her wet cheek, tasting salt. "But you saved yourself, too. You just don't see it yet."
She sobbed once, a broken sound, and tried to push him away. But he caught her wrists easily, pinning them gently against the sheets. "Shhh..." His voice was softer now, almost tender. "No tears, Aanya. Not today."
He lowered his head, kissing the tears from her face—her cheeks, her closed eyelids, the corner of her mouth. She went still, breathing ragged, trapped between horror and something else she refused to name.
When he pulled back, his expression was softer, though still shadowed with possessiveness. "I have meetings today," he said quietly. "But you'll wait for me, won't you, jaan?"
She didn't answer, couldn't trust her voice. His hand tightened on her jaw, forcing her to meet his gaze. "Say it," he commanded softly.
"I... I'll wait," she whispered, defeated.
His thumb brushed over her trembling lips. "Good girl," he murmured. "Now, come. Let's get ready for the day."
