Chapter 60 - Ada's Mate
Ada
I drag myself upstairs to my room. All I want to do is sleep for an eternity. Everyone is home safe, and I talked with Seth. Dad survived surgery and is asleep.
“Hi,” Blake says softly when I enter my room.
“Hi yourself,” I smile tiredly.
He does not say another word as he walks to me. He takes my hand and leads me to the bathroom. Lavender fills my nose, and my mood improves immediately when I see the bubble bath.
“You’re a god,” I smile happily as I strip my clothes off.
The water is warm and soothing against my skin, and I sigh contently as I lay back and close my eyes.
“Take this,” Blake’s words are soft, and I slowly open my eyes.
“Wow, thanks,” I sit up and accept the glass of wine.
“Have I told you that you’re a god?” I grin ridiculously as I take a sip while I watch him light candles all around the bathroom.
“Not recently, no,” he winks at me before he undresses.
“Shame on me,” I laugh as he climbs into the tub behind me and pulls me against his chest. I sigh happily as I lay back and rest my head on his shoulder.
“I’ll oversee it this time,” he picks up the soap and rubs it between his hands before he starts massaging my shoulders. “But I don’t know if I’ll be this lenient in the future.”
The sensations of his hands on my skin and the magical way they are rubbing the anxiety out of my shoulders are too overwhelming to continue with our bantering.
I put my glass down and pull my knees up. I wrap my arms around my legs and rest my head on my knees to allow him better access to my back and shoulders.
“I told Gregory Dad started the fire,” I murmur as Blake’s hands keep on stroking. “I didn’t want to, but I had to.”
“I know,” he says gently, and those two words are enough to break the dam, and my words just keep tumbling out. He does not interrupt me once as I share my thoughts and feelings. By the time I am done, the water is cold, and I feel empty.
Without a word, Blake stands up and climbs out. I accept his hand which he holds out to me and get out. Immediately, he wraps me into a towel before he picks me up and carries me to bed.
Gently he puts me down and tosses the towel aside before we get into bed. His arms go around my waist and he pulls me tightly to his chest.
“You should rest,” he kisses me on the neck. “We can find solutions tomorrow.”
With eyes wide open, I stare into the darkness. Blake is right, I should sleep, but I cannot. I am too overwhelmed by his selfless gesture. If I were him, I would have bombarded him with questions and discussed tonight’s events to death. But he made sure that I am calm and relaxed. He listened and supported me. He did everything perfectly. I hit the jackpot with him as a mate. He truly is a god, and I am his religious follower.
“Blake?” I ask softly.
“Hmm?” He murmurs in my neck.
“Is that it?” I turn around to face him. “Are you just going to sleep now?”
“Is there something you need?” He asks concerned. “Can I get you anything?”
“Yes,” I wiggle out of his arms and straddle his hips. “You.”
I lean over and kiss him tenderly as I roam my hands over his chest and arms. Blake’s hands glide up from my bottom, over my back until his fingers curl around my neck.
I deliberately keep my touch and actions slow. I want to cherish and value every single second with this altruistic and caring man. I want to sing his praise and write sonnets about him, but it still will not justify what I feel.
My lips trail along his jaw, over his scar and he gasps as I playfully bite his nippl*. I shift down and kiss him over his torso, down to his navel. I can feel him grow bigger and harder against my breasts as his breathing gets heavier.
His blue eyes are dark and stormy when he looks at me as I sit up and spread his legs. Slowly, I glide my hands from his knees up his inner thighs.
He jerks slightly as I curl my fingers around his shaft. I keep his gaze as I lower myself and teasingly, I flick my tongue over his fr*nulum while I stroke him. Blake moans loudly when I finally take him into my mouth. My hand’s stroking is in rhythm with my mouth as I move up and down. I continue sucking and stroking him as my other hand cups his balls and I massage them gently.
“Dear goddess, Ada,” he groans, and his fingers clamp into my hair, urging me to continue. I move my hand faster and suck harder while I keep my tongue soft and warm around his tip. I can feel his muscles tighten as I carry on.
With a growl, he pulls me off him and jumps out of bed.
“First thing tomorrow morning, you’re going to the clinic and get on the pill,” he growls as he pulls out a condom from his pants pocket.
“You don’t need a contraceptive if you’d let me finish what I was doing,” I laugh softly.
“You do need it for what I’m planning,” he grins wickedly as he kneels beside me and kisses me hungrily.
“You didn’t let me finish,” I complain weakly as he pushes me onto my back. “You’re spoiling my fun.”
“You can have all the fun you want once you’re on the pill,” he kisses my neck and moves down to my cleavage. “But you were driving me to the point where I wouldn’t care about consequences.”
I do not argue, I am too mesmerized by his hands that are leaving sparks down my side to my hips. He captures my lips and I wrap my arms around his neck to pull him closer to me. My need and desire for him grow with an intensity that becomes unbearable.
“Please,” I reach down between us and centre him at my core. “I need you now.”
Our eyes lock and he keeps my gaze before he lowers himself gently into me. He leans over and kisses me as he slowly moves in and out. The feeling is so fulfilling and exquisite and I must fight the urge to pick up the pace.
I wrap my legs around his waist and cling to him as he pushes me higher and higher towards ecstasy. Everything fades until there is only this all-consuming awareness of him. My muscles pull tighter and tighter until a kaleidoscope of pleasure erupts within me.
Blake groans deep from his chest before he starts trembling in my arms. He pants heavily as he rests his forehead against mine. I kiss him passionately before I nestle against his chest, and he wraps his arms around me.
“You’re magnificent,” I murmur against his chest.
“You’re not too bad yourself,” he smirks wickedly, and I slap him on his shoulder.
“Not that,” I protest indignantly before I start laughing.
“I know,” he cups my face and quickly kisses me. “But I couldn't resist.”
“Seriously, Blake,” I push myself up and rest my head on my elbow as I place my palm against his cheek. “You’re so caring and selfless. Even when you didn’t want me, you were looking out for me. You make me happy, and you make me feel stuff that I don’t even have names for.”
“Like love?” He smiles.
“No,” I pout and shake my head. He swallows hard as his smile falters. “It’s definitely more than that. What’s superlative to love?”
“True love?” He raises his eyebrows.
“Yes,” I exclaim and kiss him. “This must be true love.”
“You minx,” he grabs me and rolls me over onto my back. “You nearly gave me a heart attack just now.”
“Aw, but I couldn't resist,” I tease as I throw his words back at him as I lace my fingers behind his neck. I pull him closer and just before our lips touch, I whisper. “I love you, Blake.”
“I true love you too,” he says before our lips collide.
