Chapter 75
"It's still early, why don't we play some poker?" Sim suggested.
"You guys can go to the card room."
Having not been close to his little wildcat for the whole day, Matt felt a bit irritated and wanted to get rid of these clueless men.
"Matt, don't you want to wait for Gian to come back and see the defeated look on his face?"
Nick said with a smile, looking at Matt.
Compared to seeing Gian's defeated expression, Matt wanted more time alone with Susie.
But his little wildcat seemed to have different ideas.
She had already cooperatively found the cards and gathered the men together.
"My dear Matt, I don't think you're tired right now, so join us."
For some reason, his little wildcat seemed to have a natural charisma. Even just sitting there without saying anything, she could easily become the center of attention.
Seeing Matt remain silent, Susie gently tugged at the corner of his shirt. "Besides, I've never seen Gian heartbroken either. Though this is a bit like kicking someone when they're down!"
Susie playfully winked at Matt.
"Fine." Matt gave in helplessly.
He joined the poker game with the men.
The game quickly heated up, with only Matt and Susie left at the table.
Susie stared at Matt with innocent wide eyes.
"I'm guessing you've got a pair of aces left."
Matt looked at his cards expressionlessly, giving Susie no hint at all.
"One jack." Susie smiled as she threw out the bait.
Sure enough, Matt fell for it.
Susie won the final hand.
"So the last person at the table should get some kind of punishment, right?" the men suggested.
"What do you think, Miss Susie?"
"How about truth or dare then?" Susie said, blinking at Matt.
"You sure?"
"Of course!"
Susie was feeling pretty pleased with herself for winning the game.
"Alright." Matt nodded, agreeing to accept the punishment.
"I'll ask," Nick volunteered, raising his hand.
"I promise my question will be really explosive." Nick patted his chest confidently.
With that promise, Nick got the chance to ask the question.
"So, Matt, why did you leave with Susie on Halloween night?"
The question was indeed explosive.
A mafia boss, taken away by a young woman on Halloween, even tied to a bed by her for a day and night.
There was a moment of silence in the air.
Susie's eyes also fell on Matt.
Because she was very curious about Nick's question too.
"What if I said it was because of her butt? Would you believe me?"
Under everyone's expectant gaze, Matt slowly spoke.
"Oh, God!"
"It was the butt!" the men exclaimed.
"So, Matt, what's so special about Miss Susie's butt?"
The following questions even made Susie feel embarrassed.
Well, she was starting to regret starting this card game.
The men seemed to be setting a trap for her.
"After all, who could resist a butt like a peach?" Matt sighed.
"Okay, stop talking," Susie anxiously reached out to cover Matt's mouth.
Suddenly, a sticky sensation came from her palm.
Matt had even quietly stuck his tongue out against her palm.
Awkwardly pulling her hand away, Susie's face turned as red as if it were bleeding.
However, Matt's little move wasn't noticed by the men.
"Look, Miss Susie is blushing like she's bleeding because of the peach incident."
The men teased Susie freely.
"I think I'm actually starting to hope Gian comes back soon, at least that would shift everyone's attention."
Susie muttered to herself.
As soon as she finished speaking, the living room door was pushed open.
"Oh, God must have heard me." Susie exclaimed.
"Gian, you're finally back." Sure enough, the men's attention instantly shifted from Susie to Gian.
"How did it go?" Sim asked proactively.
Gian looked completely defeated. "She couldn't even be bothered to say a few words to me!"
"Looks like this Miss Roddy is quite different from the girls you've dated before," the men teased.
"I think so, at least not as enthusiastic as that blonde," Gian sighed.
His words sparked the boys' curiosity. "So, which one do you like better?"
"I think I don't have the heart to think about that enthusiastic blonde anymore." Gian sighed.
Whistles rang out in the room. "God, what am I hearing? Is Gian falling in love? This is unbelievable."
The men excitedly cheered.
Gian then moved closer to Susie ingratiatingly. "Miss Susie, so I'd like to ask about Miss Roddy's preferences. You'll help me, won't you?"
"You don't really seem like Roddy's type." Susie said without hesitation.
"Oh, that's true, but I'm willing to become Miss Roddy's type." Gian looked at Susie sincerely.
"At least drop the playboy act first." Susie said seriously.
"Otherwise, I believe you've already experienced my fist."
Seeing Susie's serious expression, the men sighed.
"Matt, you think I'll succeed, right?" Gian looked at Matt seriously.
Matt rested his head on Susie's shoulder. "I think you've met a strong rival."
Hearing Matt's words, the men burst into laughter again.
The poker game went on for a while longer before the men finally left.
The room became quiet again.
Now only Susie and Matt remained.
"Those noisy people are finally gone." Matt sighed.
Then he reached out and gently pinched Susie's waist. "Do you know how long I've been holding back? My little wildcat."
"Could it be since we were at my garage?" Susie blinked at Matt.
"How did you know?" Matt was slightly stunned.
"Because from the moment you walked into the garage, I could see this part of you gradually getting bigger." Susie pointed at a certain part of Matt and winked at him.
"So you've been missing it too, haven't you?" Matt pulled Susie into his arms.
As he spoke, his warm breath gently teased Susie's neck.
"That tickles!" Susie murmured.
"Where does it tickle?" Matt asked with a mischievous smile.
