Chapter twenty six
Lenarya's p. o. v
I can't let him do this to me, I can't let him break me all over again i can't handle his rejection, i ..... i... i just wanted to teach him a lesson so that he never breaks my heart again. A river of salty water flowed from my eyes as I failed to hold back my tears.
"Lenarya i re....." Zeus started saying but I couldn't let him finish his sentence , I couldn't let him reject me and so I did what I had to do and ran out of the room a sobbing mess as I held my hands on my ears screaming "I can't do this" over and over again. My tears kept on flowing.
I was standing at the edge of the forest when Zeus hugged me from behind and said " what's wrong love , why are you crying, did i say something to offend you or did someone say something to upset you , why are you running away from me ? Why is he doing this when he knows it's making leaving him more difficult.?
"Zeus please stop doing this to me , i don't want to hear you say it you and i know that you want to reject me so you can be with that bimbo of yours after all she is the one you love that's why you don't want me so i accept your reje........." next thing i knew Zeus was kissing the hell out me and i wasn't complaining. He started kissing the mark on my neck and it is driving me crazy. .... I can't seem to stop my moans as he nibbles on my skin.
It took me a while to realise what was going on and i quickly pushed Zeus away and jumped down so my legs were no longer wrapped around him "zeus please stop playing with my feelings , just let me go "
Zeus wiped away my tears and looked deep into my eyes before saying " lenarya honey please just let me talk ok .... i wasn't going to reject you nor was i going to accept your rejection. I love you and nothing is going to change that . I just wanted us to talk and get to know each other better so that I could open up to you. I don't love anyone else, i love you and only you so please calm down and show me that beautiful smile "
He wiped my tears one more time before carrying me towards the pack house. I tried to tell him that I could walk on my own but he just said he wants to carry so when we got to our room , I meant his room. I made sure to give him some water and put him to bed.
As i was laying on his chest that night i felt the weakening of the seal i had placed around the pack borders meaning that rouges where forming an attack against the pack so i shot out of bed and broke down my walls so that zeus would mind link with me and be able to read my thoughts since he marked me.
I loved how Zeus called the warriors instead of questioning me resulting in us reaching the pack boarder just as the rouges broke the protective seal .
I don't know if they really brave or very stupid for coming here while knowing the reputation Zeus has. I agree with you girl but with me here they are in deep trouble.
There were a lot of rouges, probably more than 25 and Zeus had four warriors making six of us in total. Other warriors were surrounding the pack house along with the orphanage.
Three rouges attacked Zeus and he was dodging their attacks as he broke the neck of one of them . I had taken down five rouges when I noticed a rouge biting the arm of one of the warriors and I quickly shifted to my light brown wolf and I flinged the rouge away from the warrior. Another rouge landed on my back and I slashed his face with my claws and chewed his neck instantly killing him.
I turned around and noticed the dead bodies of rouges that now surrounded Zeus as he fought and I noticed how off his breathing was and remembered that he was still weak and so i jumped into his fight and i ripped the rouges neck with my claws.
Zeus looked at me with shock in his eyes as I slowly walked to the border and strengthened the seal that the rouges weakened with wolves brain, after that I walked behind a tree and got dressed in an oversized t-shirt.
When I got back I noticed Zeus and the warriors who had all shifted to humans were now looking at me as if it was their first time seeing me . What are you busy staring at me for... get someone to clean this up and get rid of the bodies. I said to the group of men but they all didn't move an inch. They just stood there and looked at me like I had grown five heads.
I am going back to the pack house since you guys have decided to act so weird, I announced to them as left and as expected none of them did anything they just looked at me.
'Men are weird'. Tell me about it like seriously is it so shocking for a woman to kick some rouge ass? Now that you mention it I get why they are shocked. I was crying and sobbing like a baby half an hour ago and now I just ruthlessly killed rouges. 'What do you think the rouges were doing here ?' Someone must have sent them since rouges are pretty much afraid of Zeus and don't dare trespass in his pack.
It was amusing to hear pack members asking me if the rouges hurt me or scared me in any way when they saw my body covered in blood. It was even more amusing when teenagers and warriors kept telling me that i shouldn't be afraid because they will make sure to protect me if it ever happens again.
I took a shower in our room, I mean his room and wore his t-shirt before Zeus entered the room, stared at me , took a shower, sat down and stared at me some more.
Only god knows what's going on in his mind, i mean i could read his thoughts but nah maybe I won't like what i may find.
