Flying Shoe

**Oliver's POV**

I got to the club and was immediately granted access, I was five minutes earlier than the time Valerie was to perform. Although I noticed for some past months she hasn’t really been consistent with her timing but I overlooked it anyway.

I got inside and went straight to the VIP session, these days I’ve been getting used to going out without guards so this night was one of those times I was alone.

I sat down and was just chilling when Mr. Tim came by honoring my call in less than Thirty minutes, that’s how I’m respected and feared by all. We began discussion and I gave him the assignment to find out everything he knows about Valerie and where she was presently.

I gave him some money so he could commence then he assured me that he’s going to start as soon as the next day. We talked a little while longer before he finally left, I checked the idea of the time and to my surprise time was already far spent.

I was preparing to go home when it occurred to me that Valenchez didn’t perform today. I wondered why so I went to make inquiry from Madam Lucy, who reminded me that she doesn’t work for her anymore as she just comes in to perform whenever she pleases.

I was surprised at first but I didn’t think much about it. I got home later that evening, took my bath and went to bed. I slept that day with different thoughts on how to find Valerie was flying through my head, but none actually made sense to me.

******* Morning *********

I woke up feeling a slight headache, a few minutes later Madam Montana walked in with a cup of coffee, oh god bless this woman for me. She literally knows me too well.

“Here young master, I know you would be feeling some headache after yesterday.”

“Oh Madam Montana, what would I do without you? I said jokingly accepting the cup of coffee from her, but how do you know I’d need this?”

“Actually you came home a bit tipsy yesterday, so I knew you were going to have a headache by morning with the condition you came with last night. I actually wanted to leave it here for you but when I walked in you were awake so..”

“Oh, thanks so much Madam Montana.”

“At your service Young master.”

I got out of bed and went to take my bath which madam Montana had already prepared. I got ready for work and was set to go, just then, madam Montana came in to remind me about My mom’s health.

She said her health was deteriorating and she thinks if Valerie was here it would help her a lot. And here again we are back with the same issue. I assured her I was going to do everything within my power to make sure I find her.

I got into my car with just two escorts, I was In between my escorts as my car was in the middle. We got driving and soon we hit the road. I was having a very important meeting in a very small town in north-hill as I was thinking of setting up a business there, but didn’t know what yet.

I am to meet with the people there and ask what their need was. I was just sitting there glued to my phone when I heard a sudden crash, it was like one of my escorts cars had a crash with an Uber. Looked back and noticed my guards came down to confront the driver as they knew they might lose their job for any scratches in my car.

I sat there unperturbed, hoping that they could resolve the issue themselves but the commotion was too much so I decided to step out, but before I got there a woman in the Uber had used her shoe to give a crack to my car.

I was so furious until I was told that the driver was trying to plead for his mistake when a mysterious woman in the Uber threw her shoe at them which they dodged and it ended up hitting my car. They also mentioned that the lady seemed to be pregnant that’s why they didn’t approach her.

But unfortunately for me, I was still interrogating them, when the Uber driver took that time to escape with his passengers, I was so furious at first but I just decided to punish my guards instead by cutting a certain amount from their pay for the month.

As for that Uber driver, he'll be dealt with later.
