I knew I was about to lose control. Every breath, every beat of my heart seemed like a constant reminder that I was captive to something far greater than my own will. The situation with Dante became more unbearable with each passing day, and I couldn’t deny what I felt anymore—or rather, what he made me feel. It was a prison of desire and fear, a mixture that made me doubt my own sanity.

With every word he spoke, my body recoiled, yet my heart beat faster. I knew he was manipulating me, playing with my feelings and my mind, but it seemed impossible to escape it. His words echoed in my mind, impossible to erase: "You’re mine. You always were."

I tried to resist. I tried to fight this suffocating sensation that surrounded me whenever he was near, but the more I tried to distance myself, the closer he seemed to get, in an insidious and silent way. He knew exactly how to control me, and I had no idea how to deal with it. I felt weak, incapable of escaping the web of feelings and control he had spun around me.

That morning, while he was busy with something, I found myself alone in the house, which now seemed no longer mine. The walls, which once felt welcoming, now stood imposing and threatening. I could hear my own thoughts echoing, yet nothing seemed to give me the courage I needed to truly take action. Something inside me screamed for freedom, but fear paralyzed me. I knew that if I truly wanted it, I would have to bear the consequences, and the consequences of going against Dante would be disastrous.

The door opened, and he entered the room with that self-satisfied smile that bothered me so much. I could see in his eyes the intensity of his watchfulness, always observing, always alert. I could never escape him—not in the way he wanted. He came closer, like a shadow, and before I could take a step back, he was already so close that I could feel his presence inside me.

"You don’t need to fight this anymore," he said, his voice carrying a tone of victory.

I couldn’t respond immediately. The words were stuck in my throat. I wanted to shout, to challenge everything he represented, but there was something in his presence that made me feel... small, insignificant. Part of me still wanted to please him, wanted him to see me differently. I was divided, completely shattered.

Dante looked at me with his piercing eyes, the same eyes that had seen everything I feared. He knew, without a doubt, what I was thinking. He knew my thoughts better than I did myself. It was as if he had the power to invade my mind, and I no longer knew where he began and I ended.

"You don’t need to fight this anymore," he murmured, getting even closer, almost touching me. "I am the only thing you need. You feel that, don’t you?"

I wanted to say something, anything that could change everything. I wanted to scream that no, I didn’t want this life anymore, I didn’t want to live under his control. But the words died on my lips, and what was left was only the weight of his overwhelming presence.

"Please..." was all I could whisper.

Dante smiled, a cold smile, as if he knew I was already defeated. He leaned in to touch me, but I took a step back, finally finding a bit of courage. The pain in my chest grew, but I could no longer just surrender. I needed to get out of here, I needed to find a way to free myself.

But he didn’t let me. In one swift motion, he grabbed my arm, forcing me to look into his eyes.

"It’s no use running from me," he said, his voice laced with subtle threats. "You’re already mine. And there’s nothing you can do to change that."

Those words were like a blow. Fear gripped me, but something else arose. I don’t know what it was exactly, but it was an impulse, a force that made me want to fight, even though I knew I didn’t have the strength to do it alone. I needed help, I needed a plan. But for now, what I needed most was a breath.

Dante watched me in silence, and I could see the amusement in his eyes, as if he were waiting for me to completely surrender. I was on the edge of collapse, but I still hadn’t given in, I still hadn’t fully broken. He released me, but the feeling of his hand still seemed attached to me, as if I couldn’t escape his influence.

"You’ll regret not listening to me," he said, his voice heavy with subtle threats. "But I’ll wait. Because, in the end, you’ll always come back to me."

He left the room, leaving me alone again, but no longer free. The air was dense, charged with tension, and I no longer knew what to do with the thoughts running through my head. What did he want from me? Why couldn’t I just escape? I was so tired of it all, but at the same time, I couldn’t stop feeling drawn to him, to his presence.

I was torn between two worlds: the fear he caused and the attraction I felt for him. Every day was an internal battle, and the more I tried to fight against it, the more he seemed to pull me back into the center of his domain.

I knew I couldn’t continue like this. But how could I break free from this cycle? How could I escape this trap he had woven around me? The answer was far from clear, and I felt more lost than ever.

But something inside me knew that, at some point, I would have to make a decision. And that decision could mean my freedom, or my destruction.
