Alexander Arlan Ainsley POV
I arrived in front of the penthouse, opened the door, and turned on the light. I stared at the empty living room and thought of my girl and how we met.
"I would not be surprised if Letta went to the hospital. She must have seen a psychiatrist and had therapy for her two phobias. Is my girl feeling better?" I mumbled and could not hide my anxiety.
My stomach started to hurt. I just remembered that I have not eaten dinner yet, but has my girl eaten yet? I hope she had it.
"If Letta and I had lived together, then we would have had dinner together. I can't keep quiet and wait for a miracle for us, but how?"
My brain kept working and thinking of all the possibilities, but I still could not come up with a brilliant idea. How could I place a secret CCTV in Arletta's room without getting caught? Where was my girl's room? Damn! I was so curious about what was going on inside the Rayner's house.
"Think, Alex! You usually like to get extraordinary inspirations. Why can't you get one at a time like this?" I grumbled, annoyed with myself.
I could only take off my shoes and socks and put them on the shoe rack not far from me. Why is it so boring inside the penthouse? What's wrong with me?
Wait a minute. I felt my pants pocket vibrate and reached in to retrieve my cell phone. I was curious about who tried to contact me outside of working hours. Usually, I ignored all the phone calls related to work, except there was a special case.
"Who is calling? Could it be Louis?"
I got my phone, and the screen showed Louis' name. Great! I could not wait to hear from him. I hope it's good news this time!
Me: "Hello, Louis? How is it?"
I could not mince words because that was the way it should be. Was there an update on my girl, or perhaps was there something else Louis wanted to say? Whatever it was, I needed to know!
Louis Movena: 'Hello, boss. I managed to take a picture of Mr. Rayner's house."
Aha! I was thinking about how to access my future in-laws' house, but now after hearing Louis' report, I thought that I was one step closer!
Me: "Good job! Other than the photos, did you get any other information?"
I must be able to find a way to place the CCTV in Arletta's room. If it was in another area, then it could be dangerous because, as far as I knew, everyone who worked at Rayner's mansion was a member of The Hidden Dragon. I wondered if Rayner never realized that there was something strange about Fiona, his wife. Was she too smart, or was her husband too stupid?
Louis Movena: "I am looking for a way to get acquainted with the butler here, boss."
Aha! Got acquainted with the butler? That was a brilliant idea! He usually knew what was going on inside the mansion, including renovations. Wait! Renovation was the key! If the place was renovated, the chance to smuggle the CCTVs was even greater!
Me: "Great! Louis, if you are already acquainted with the butler, you should be able to find out when the Rayner mansion was renovated. If necessary, you can suggest that, so that he can convey it to his master."
If I was not mistaken, I had a contracting company that could handle home and office renovations, and I would find a way for them to handle the project. Yes! Finally, I had a suitable solution to my problem!
Louis Movena: "Yes, boss. I will try to do it."
I believed in Louis's ability. Hopefully, the plan would be working smothly, and I could buy CCTV from The Red Opium.
Me: "I trust you, Louis. You know what you have to do."
If Arletta and I could have an official relationship or at least live together, then I would give Louis a bonus. I had to get that girl completely, and no other man could have her!
Louis Movena: "I will do my best, Boss. I will keep you updated on the progress of Mr. Rayner and his family."
I nodded spontaneously. Arletta, I was not messing around with everything I said when we were in the elevator and I would prove it to you!
Me: "Good. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Stay alert wherever you are."
The Hidden Dragon's shadow troops were everywhere, and I did not want Louis to be caught off guard. I tried to minimize the failure of my plan. I did not let Fiona find out prematurely because it could be dangerous for me and The Red Opium.
Louis Movena: "Thank you, Boss."
I think I have had enough conversations with Louis. I have not eaten dinner yet, and my stomach hurts again.
Me: "You are welcome."
I ended the call and put my phone in my pants pocket. I walked towards the kitchen and occasionally stopped to turn on the light so it would not be too dark.
"Hopefully Rayner will renovate the mansion, so I can propose a contracting company that is a subsidiary of mine to have them do the work."

Forty-five minutes later,
I had finished dinner and was looking at the pictures that Louis had sent. The Rayner mansion was huge and had a large courtyard. There were bodyguards guarding every place. I wondered, where was my girl's room? There was no way she lived on the first floor because, as far as I knew, the children of rich people like Arletta were deliberately placed on the second or third floor by their parents.
Louis sent me about fifteen photos with different angles so I could imagine what was there. A shadowy army stood guard outside the fence of the Rayner mansion. They were in cars and about fifty, one hundred, and one hundred and fifty meters away from the Queen of the Hidden Dragon's residence.
"Hm... I thought they only appeared when my girl or Ben or Fiona came out, but I was wrong. They are everywhere."
I looked at each photo carefully, often zooming in to see more clearly. But I was still not satisfied because I did not know where my girl slept. I could not wait to find out, even if it were just through a photo.
"I need to know Arletta's room. How big it is and what things she has, including the size of her clothes. If we live together, then I already know everything she needs."
After looking at the photos, I remembered the conversation with Garry and it gave me an idea. "A miniature CCTV can be placed in Letta's room, and then also other things as long as they are not caught. When sending the gift, I can-"
