Chapter 1: Introduction

In the Eastern part of Nigeria, there was a young handsome boy who was tall for his age. He had great charisma and was admired by all.

A lot of ladies and young girls who were older than him found him attractive and irresistible.

Those in the same school with him made him their school son while they called themselves, his school mother.

So, at that young age of twelve, he was introduced to the act of sexual intercourse.

He would spend his weekends with one lady friend after another.

His studies suffered but to him, it was more than made up for by the numerous gifts that his parents could not afford to give him.

He had more expensive clothes than he could care to count and enough money to throw around.

He grew being an expert in the act of lovemaking. This further drew more women his way. His game grew among the womenfolk as a master lovemaking machine.

With the steady flow of women around him, and frequent uninhibited sex, he only knew want, sextual desire and gratification.

That young man was Felix Nnanna.

He didn't know what love was until he met Gift.

Gift was a young beautiful girl of fifteen. Born to a comfortable family in the same village as Felix.

She had secretly loved Felix but was discouraged by the steady cluster of women around him.

It could well be imagined, the joy and elation she felt when Felix noticed her and made a proposition to her:

'I'd like for you to be my girlfriend'.

She felt she would get herself a great bargain so she said, 'I can't'.

'Why not', he asked.

'Well because I don't share'.

'What are you trying to say?' he asked confused.

'Well, I can only accept to be yours if you will be mine alone' she replied.

'Meaning?'

'Meaning, I won't be your one of your girlfriends. I will accept you if you make me THE girlfriend'.

Felix looked at the young girl and was enchanted by her. Her boldness and courage's was admirable and her beauty, captivating.

He felt something shift in the region of his chest and knew that he could not afford to lose her. If giving in to her request would make her his, well he would do it.

'Okay, I accept'.

'Swear it on your life'.

If Felix was shocked, he didn't let on.

'I do', he swore.

There began a steamy love affair. But will this love affair stand the test of time? Or is it destined for doom?

Alot' of men had made different types or propositions to her which she had refused without baiting an eye.

She had always promised herself that she would only be with the man or get married to the man she loves. Love must be one of the qualities, though other qualities would be welcomed.

This could not be said of her younger sister, Mary, who was haughty, arrogant, self-centered, though extremely beautiful.

She believed that everything good should belonged to her and this had made her take forcefully or with cunning what rightfully belonged to others.

When she met Felix, she was determined that he must be hers. She was prepared to take her sister's first and only love without any care of how it would hurt and scare her emotionally for life.

Would Mary succeed in her venture to get Felix? Or would love really prevail?
