Chapter 151 Cressida Shows Her Skills!
Flynn's meteor hammer came whistling down. Ethan dodged to the side, the rush of wind grazing past his ear with a burning pain.
"Pretty quick!" Flynn grinned, swinging both hammers rapidly, forcing Ethan to retreat again and again.
The noble ladies below the stage cried out in alarm.
Elysia clutched her handkerchief and exclaimed in Cressida's ear, "This isn't a match, it's clearly trying to kill someone!"
Cressida looked up toward Jason and Rodolfo watching from nearby. Neither showed any sign of stopping it.
It seemed that on this fighting stage, life, death, victory, and defeat all depended on yourself.
Ethan's sword edge grazed Flynn's arm several times, but only left shallow bloody marks.
Flynn's muscles were knotted and hard as iron.
"Didn't you eat, Ethan?" Flynn sneered, sweeping with one hammer.
Ethan leaped into the air. The hammer smashed the floor tiles where Ethan had just been standing.
Ethan breathed heavily, his handsome eyes locked on Flynn's figure.
Flynn was still mocking, "General Hamilton's cousin, is this your level? Only defending, not attacking, useless!"
The moment his words fell, Ethan suddenly lunged forward.
Ethan's silver sword suddenly changed tactics, targeting Flynn's legs.
Flynn stumbled backward, only to trip on the floor tiles he had just smashed.
Ethan seized the opening, his sword sweeping hard at his knee!
Flynn cried out in pain and fell backward.
With a thud, he hit the ground in pain, and his meteor hammers rolled away to the side.
Madeline panicked, shouting, "Flynn! How can you lose?"
The match was decided. Ethan extended his hand to help him up, "I yield."
A fierce glint flashed in Flynn's eyes.
"Watch out!" From the viewing stand, Miguel shouted sharply.
A handful of dirt flew toward Ethan's face.
Ethan's vision immediately turned blood red. Flynn's sneer was particularly harsh in the thunder, "All's fair in war!"
Flynn nimbly jumped to his feet, gripping his meteor hammer again.
Flynn raised the meteor hammer, about to smash it toward Ethan's head!
Elysia and the others screamed, their faces turning pale with fear.
Suddenly, a hairpin flew over. Flynn hastily dodged. The hairpin grazed his eyelid and fell to the ground. He felt a burning pain!
Flynn looked sharply toward the attacker. Cressida had leaped onto the stage in a few steps and caught Ethan.
"Ethan, are you okay?"
"Cressida, I can't see!"
"Go get clean water to wash it out, you'll be fine." Cressida said after checking.
Flynn rubbed his painful eye, glaring at Cressida. "What's this supposed to mean? The Hamilton family doesn't have a single real man? Ethan, you're about to lose, so you call your cousin to the stage? Ethan, if you get knocked down, are you going to cry to your mother next?"
Cressida looked at him coldly. "This is a match, but you played dirty."
Flynn shouldered his meteor hammer and laughed. "So what? Ms. Hamilton, do you have something to say? Didn't you hear what Commander Wright just said? No fancy moves allowed here, we need to see real skills! If you're afraid of blood, don't join the King's Guard!"
"Is the Blade of Victory really that impressive? Maybe it's just a title the Hamilton family made up?" Flynn laughed mockingly.
Cressida turned to look at Jason and Rodolfo on the platform.
Cressida questioned coldly, "The match was decided. Flynn even dropped his weapon, but still tried to sneak attack. Does Commander Wright consider this acceptable?"
Jason's expression was stern. "This is the battlefield. When you face the enemy, do you expect to reason with them? At most, we'll call it a draw."
Battlefield? He wants to talk to her about the battlefield? Fine, she'll "reason" with these people.
Cressida's face darkened. "Since it was just a draw, for the second round, I'll take Ethan's place."
Everyone gasped in shock.
Madeline almost laughed out loud.
Cressida was looking for death!
Did she really think that just because she'd been to war, she was invincible?
Among women, she might be special, but among these King's Guard soldiers with real skills, what was she?
Joseph frowned too. "This woman, so competitive. She'll get herself killed in a moment."
Marshall was somewhat worried. "Go get someone to stop this."
Miguel suddenly spoke up. "I don't think it's necessary. Let her compete and see if the Hamilton family's skills are good for both men and women."
Joseph agreed. "Exactly. Let Cressida take a good beating, then she'll know her place."
Marshall looked thoughtfully at Miguel and Joseph, then his gaze fell on Cressida again.
Over there, Flynn held his meteor hammer, staring at Cressida.
"Ms. Hamilton, you're forcing me to hit a woman?"
"You don't need to treat me as a woman," Cressida said, pulling out a handkerchief and tying it on her left fist. "On the fighting stage, there's no distinction between men and women, only winners and losers."
Seeing her ready for battle, everyone present jeered and laughed.
Cameron was very skilled, but as a woman, how could Cressida know that the difference in strength between men and women was huge?
Ethan had almost lost to Flynn just now, let alone Cressida!
At this moment, someone shouted, "Commander Wright, agree to her request. If we beat her, it won't be a disgrace to our King's Guard!"
Cressida was Cameron's own sister, after all.
Rodolfo hesitated, looking at Jason and reminding him in a low voice, "It's not appropriate. Her skills aren't bad."
Jason was displeased and said, "This woman came to the stage to make a scene. If we don't crush her arrogance today, how will the King's Guard maintain its dignity in the future?"
After speaking, Jason called out to Flynn, "Fight! One round decides it all."
Flynn responded excitedly, "Alright!"
Over there, Madeline also got excited.
I sent Flynn a message yesterday saying that Cressida was too much and needed to be taught a lesson.
If Flynn could beat Cressida into a cripple, would she still dream of becoming a princess? Dream on!
Rodolfo rubbed his brow.
Only one thought in his mind: seeking death.
If Yosef were here, he'd probably feel better, because he wouldn't be the only person Cressida had beaten down.
Dark clouds gathered thick, thunder echoing overhead.
Cressida moved her feet in a circle, standing steady, raising her palm. "Flynn, please."
Flynn raised his thick eyebrows. "You're not choosing a weapon?"
Cressida's tone was calm. "No need. I have these fists and feet, enough to handle this."
"You're truly arrogant!"
Flynn thought beating Cressida would be like child's play.
He grinned and swung his meteor hammer horizontally at Cressida.
The hammer wind whistled. The crowd below held their breath.
If this hammer hit solidly, even bones would be crushed to pieces!
But Cressida didn't dodge or avoid. The instant the hammer chain stretched taut, she suddenly leaped up, her shoe tip landing precisely on the meteor hammer.
"What?" Flynn's eyes widened. Before he could react, everything went dark before his eyes.
Cressida's right foot kicked hard at his nose bridge, the dust from her shoe sole grinding a gray mark on his face.
Then with continuous kicks, her foot struck his temple!
The Team A members who had just been cheering for Flynn suddenly fell silent.
Cressida's leg techniques were too fast. So fast that before anyone could see clearly, Flynn was already retreating with a bruised and swollen face, his meteor hammer clanging to the ground.
Flynn panicked and reached out his thick hands to grab Cressida.
Who would have thought that Cressida would suddenly step on his shoulder and flip behind him.
As her clothes fluttered, Cressida turned in mid-air, her left palm striking like a blade on Flynn's back.
At the same time, she kicked the back of Flynn's knee. Flynn screamed and fell to his knees.
Cressida went directly around to the front, grabbed Flynn's collar, and neatly slapped him twice with her left palm.
For playing dirty—if his family didn't teach him properly, she'd teach him how to be a decent person!
A bolt of lightning suddenly struck down from the dark clouds, illuminating her sharp eyes.
"To beat you, I don't even need five moves."
With that, she released her hand. Flynn collapsed to the ground with a thud, motionless.
The entire venue fell silent.
Madeline let out a shrill scream, "Murder! Cressida has killed someone!"
