Chapter 259 Chapter 259

Damien's POV.

“Welcome sir, it's a pleasure to have you in our…”

“I'm looking for a Vincent here. He might be going under the code name Vinicius Sanchez,” I said, my voice deep and sharp.

The lady's smile faltered as she glanced at Kai behind me.

“I'm sorry sir, but our customers are confidential,” she mumbled, moving her hands slowly underneath her desk.

I looked around the room, barely able to get a read on the room as a result of the dimly lit blue room. “I'm guessing this ain't no ordinary five star lounge. You know what goes on down here, huh?”

“I'm sorry sir, I don't know what you are talking about,” her smile widened.

“You will soon enough.” I brought my gun, pointing it straight to her head. “One more move and I'll blow your brains out, lady,”

She flinched in fear, pressing her hands to her side immediately. “Don't bother calling the bouncer outside, I've taken care of him. So I'll ask one more time, I'm looking for Vincent, direct me to him.”

“This is a reputable bar and we do not condone violence. I'll call the police if you do not stop,” she stammered.

“You think I'm joking, right?” I fired.

“No sir, only the living gets to make a joke.” Her frightened stare glitched into a confident glare. The move she made was fast, too quick for someone with her frail statute and slim build. She plunged at a small opening behind the wall, pulling out a black pistol and smirking like she had caught us by surprise.

If only I could sit and watch her handle her weapon, she looked skilled, discreet with a killer vibe but I was here on a mission. I was here for someone deadlier than her.

She barely had time to fix her thumb on the trigger when I pounced forward, hitting the gun off her grasp and grabbing her Chestnut hair. With a hard push, I bashed her head against the counter watching her cry out in pain.

“Where the fuck is Vincent!” I thundered.

Kai leaped across the counter, accessing the main frame of her computer.

“Got it,” he said, grabbing the woman's gun. “He's in the third floor, room…”

“Intruders!” A man screamed, clutching his hands against his pocket and opening fire on us. Immediately, I jumped across the counter to take cover.

The number of aggressors increased over time compromising our cover.

“We're not going to stay here all day.” I hollered at Kai, giving a subtle sign that we were going to fire back in about a minute. He nodded, mouthing a few words to himself, and just like I thought, the men stopped, quickly reloading their bullets.

I jumped out of the counter along with a quarter of my men that followed me through the entrance. Our attack was swift, cornering every man before they could react to our presence.

“Go, go, go,” Kai ordered the few men beside us. “They'll be requesting for backup, Boss, you have to head to the third floor, room six. We'll keep 'em busy,” he said to me.

“Block the entrance, make sure nobody leaves or walks in, and contact Lorenzo for updates. ” I commanded, then swiftly raced to the elevator. It closed with a chime and I snapped my fingers for some action. I could hardly wait for what I was going to do to him.

A few minutes later, the elevator opened up to a quiet hallway with rooms to the side. I could hardly hear the trouble going on downstairs.

“Room six, room six,” I muttered to myself, walking past the doors with a serial number tag until I got to the sixth room in the hall. I pressed my ears against the door, detested by the high pitched moans in the room.

With a nod, I rammed my weight against the door, forcing it open and staggering to get my balance.

“Baby! Yes, hmmmm,” the lady on top of him moaned in ecstasy, grabbing her boobs as she climaxed over him.

He peered his head out and our eyes locked, forcing his mouth to drop open, his iris rolling in its socket.

“Shit!” He leaped up, shoving the lady away and rolling to the left side of the bed. I fired at him but the bullet seemed to graze his shoulder.

He rushed at his pistol beside him but I fired yet another shot at his palm, hitting him where I wanted it to be. He let out a scream as he grappled his left palm in pain.

“We meet again, traitor. You thought I wouldn't find you.” I smirked with a dark look, a cloud hovering over my eyes.

“Damien… fuck… boss. It's not what… you think,” he writhed in pain. I moved closer and pulled the sheets away and pointed my gun at his forehead.

“You've been a traitor by my side all these years. You stabbed me in the back and I didn't even realize it was you.”

“How did you find me?” He asked, crawling back in fear, his toes twitched, his eyes narrowed in fear. I loved the puny look on his face.

“I always do. I have my ways, you should know that already,” I snapped, smacking the base of my gun over his head. He let out another scream and I dragged him out of the bed, stepping my foot on his injured palm.

His scream pierced through the air, causing him to wobble around on the floor and try to pull out.

“Does that hurt? Should I stop?” I laughed. “Did you think of stopping when you traded my location to my enemy?”

“Ahhh! Please, please.”

“Don't be a whiny little bitch, Vincent? Now tell me, why did you kill Elena? Why are you working for Anthony, you stupid jerk?”

“Let go of him!” The woman pounced on him, knocking a heavy object behind my head. I felt the impact, forcing me to stagger back and shut my eyes for a split second. She jerked back as I channeled my attention towards her, my eyes circling on the iron vault that thudded to the ground.

How was she able to lift that? I was stupid to let my guard down thinking she would run out as soon as I fired at Vincent. No, she was braver than I thought.

“You,” I gnashed my teeth, leaping up to her. She screamed for help, but I pressed my hands against her lip, muffling her voice in the process. She tried to bite my hands, however I slammed her to the ground and she groaned in pain.

“Get out or suffer the same fate as your fuck buddy!” I threatened. She wasn't who I was here for and I was not going to waste my time on her.

I turned back to Vincent, sharply looking over to the table beside the bed. The gun was still tucked safe but Vincent wasn't there. He was heading out already, limping in pain yet faster than a sprinter.

He slammed the door shut as I ran forward to catch him.

As I got out of the room and turned both sides, he raised his middle finger at me and chuckled. “You're still lacking, boss. Your sympathy's gonna be the death of you loser.”

I fired a few shots but the elevator closed with a chime.

“Fuck!” I stomped my right foot on the floor. I wasn't going to let him escape again. I dashed towards the stairs, running as fast as I could to block him at the entrance.

The sound of my feet echoed in the air, but I bounced back crashing against the wall as I bumped into a bulky guard rushing in the opposite direction that I was.

Our guns fell with a clack and we glanced at each other in surprise. The gun was closer to him, but he was evidently slower than I was.

“You're not supposed to be here,” he dived forward to grab his gun but I kicked them down the stairs, launching another kick to his chin.

“I'll let you live if you choose to walk away,” I uttered, springing up to my feet with clenched fist.

The man spat out blood and bounced on his feet, taking a defensive stance. “I don’t know who you are, but this is the end of the line for you, Mr.”
