Dorothy’s POV
I decided to ask the security, they told me it was just a delivery guy who came into the company.

I had this deep relief and went with Daniella as planned.

When we got to the hospital, I knew she was shocked that I was close enough to Mabel and Sonia when they kept asking about my office romance with my boss.

At my mom's ward, I kissed her on the cheek saying, "Mom, you can scold me now since I haven't been coming regularly to see you but before that let me explain."

I sat properly saying, "My kind of job I do is a bit stressful but it's worth it, the salary is very okay and I am happy, that with it, I can settle all your bills."

"Yes mom, your daughter is hardworking, I envy her, you know." Daniella added and she hugged me saying, "I believe your mom will open her eyes soon."

"I hope so too, best friend."

"So let's sit at the spot with the shade in the hospital, I love the natural breeze there." She added.

"Same here," I replied.

We sat there and the breeze was cool, "So what are you going to do?" She asked.

"I don't get you, Daniella."

"The latest bad news about your boss."

"Oh that I am still thinking but soon it will be off the news but I am a little nervous about the trip."

"But why? you both have slept in the same apartment before so why will you be nervous going on the trip with him?"

"It's not that."

"Then what? I know you both won't share a room for privacy sake so what are you scared of?"

"You don't get it, both of us will be seeing each other more often and working together, sharing ideas and acting more like the fake couple to be able to fit in some things on the project."

"Maybe I am a seer, I once told you just a night might change some many things, I can see love in the air, bet it, you both will come back as real couples." She added.

"Go to hell."

"So girlfriend, tell me how many packs of condoms I should get for you as a loyal friend."

"Holy Jesus, I hate you right now."

"Just joking, so are you getting prepared for your trip and as usual, I will take care of your mom."

"Not really, you know I don't have many clothes to wear or things to carry as well, I just don't know."

"Calm down girlfriend, just calm down."

I breathed in and out.





Oliver's POV

I finally got ready to meet up with Cleopatra, I hope what I am doing is right?

I got to her gate and placed a call, "Hi, I am at your gate now."

"Alright dear, I am coming down." She said before ending the call.

After some minutes, the gate opened revealing beautiful Cleopatra, having a an enchanting smile today.

I can't be thinking about how beautiful she is but she remained standing carrying a straight face then I knew she wanted me to act like the gentleman I am by opening the door.

I stepped down from the car and opened the door for her with a fake smile, "Thank you, dear." She said as she hops in.

I can't believe I am doing this, I drove her to a simple place to have dinner but I am happy she also likes the place.

I brought out the seat for her to sit on and then took my seat going through the menu on the table and finally settled to just have rice. I didn't feel hungry, she ordered chicken fries and drinks.

"Thanks, dear for this."

"You are welcome but can you please stop calling me dear cause I feel unease."

"Don't worry soon you will get used to it, once we start getting close and hanging out together."

"In your wildest dream Cleopatra."

"That's romantic of you Oliver." She smiled and I hate her for not getting angry at me or picking offence, now she has the belief I like her because of my mom.

"So tell me, how did work go today?"

"Normal as usual."

"I saw the news, I was so angry that I sent out my source to find out who the anonymous person is that will post such a big lie about you."

"I am happy you care but do not get worried, I am on it so just focus more on yourself, I don't like when my issues bother people."

"Oh stop it, it's a privilege to share your problems with you okay, before I forget, I might be travelling tomorrow for a business deal."

"Nice, where are your parents Cleopatra, you never talk about them."

"Oh that, I wanted us to talk about ourselves but since you ask, they are also in the states, you know, being rich with so many responsibilities that I hardly see my parents."

"Oh yes, that's true."




"So tell me what do you love doing when you are alone?" She asked.

"I work."

'Come on, everything I have been asking of you, you keep saying work and work, don't you have fun."

"It's a waste of time for me, it's getting late, great dinner, I got lots of work to do tomorrow, let me take you home."

"Fine, I have no option than to understand your kind of person." She added.





I enjoyed the dinner a bit but would have enjoyed it more if Dorothy was here as well, I miss her already but I am not happy she is seeing someone dear to her heart and I am not the person.

I brought Cleopatra back home, stepping out of the car to walk her to the gate, "Thanks for today Oliver."

"You are welcome, good night then."

"Just that?" She asked.

I gave an expression of what else you want.

"Oh come on, allow me to do this cause I need it now."

I got confused but my
eyes widened when she forced her lips on mine.

Should I kiss her back and have sex with her since she is accessible or stop her?
