Obsessed

Nora and Max stared at Axel as he slept, they had so many questions and they couldn't wait for him to wake up.

Nora sighed and Max wrapped his arms around her, he kissed her cheek and she smiled at him.

After what seemed like forever to them, Axel finally woke up.

He opened his eyes slowly and looked around the room.

"Where the fuck am I?" He muttered.

"The hospital." Max replied and he glanced at him. Axel groaned as he slowly sat up.

"You texted Max to meet you at a fast food restaurant in the restroom, we got there and met you unconscious and Lily was nowhere to be found. What happened?" Nora asked. Axel ignored her and pulled the syringe out of his hand.

"Woah, what are you doing?" Max asked as he slowly stood up. His arm wasn't hurting so much anymore and besides, he was used to bullet wounds.

"Axel." Nora called as he ran his hands through his hair, he noticed his jacket at the edge of the bed.

He picked it up and put it on.

"Can you at least tell us what is going on? Where is Lily?" Max asked as he stood up with Nora.

"El Diablo has her." He replied and Nora's eyes widened.

"Oh." She muttered and chuckled nervously.

Axel suddenly looked at her and she raised her brows, he had a scary look on, she was sure the last time he looked so scary was years ago.

"You lied to me." Axel said and she chuckled nervously again, she shook her head in response.

"I don't recall telling you that you can lie to me." He added.

"What is going on?" Max asked confused. Nora was terrified, she hurriedly moved behind her husband and held onto his shirt tightly.

"Axel." Max called. Max was also surprised, he wasn't looking friendly.

"Get out of the way." He ordered Max. Nora took a few steps back in fear and Max also did. Nora stopped when her back came in contact with the wall, she trembled in fear.

"Calm down dude. What happened? Say something." Max said.

"Get out of my way." He said again.

"Well, I can't. You look so mad... " Max trailed off as Axel grabbed him roughly and pushed him out of the way.

Nora's eyes widened in shock, before she could run, Axel placed his hand on the wall and stopped her.

"Axel." Nora whispered as tears welled up in her eyes. Max was about to touch Axel but he shot him a glare that made him stop.

"You know how much I hate being lied to but still, you lied to me. What am I to you now? A joke?" Axel asked and she shook her head in fear.

He wasn't yelling, he wasn't showing that he was mad. He was calm but still, he looked so intimidating.

"The only reason I am not doing anything to you right now is because you are my sister. Don't ever lie to me again." He added. Nora nodded in fear as she trembled.

"Nora?" He called and she gasped a little before speaking.

"Yes, I understand. I'm sorry." She apologized and he pulled away from her, she rushed to Max in tears and he held her tightly. She was so scared, it had really been a long time since Axel was so cold.

"El Diablo is Zach Salvator. You have an hour to give me full details on him." Axel ordered Max and looked at him.

"I mean every detail. Including the dumbest ones. An hour. Don't keep me waiting." Axel said sternly before walking out of the room.

He searched his pocket and found his phone, as he headed out of the hospital, he placed a call to a long time friend.

"Ugh, come on." El Diablo groaned as he watched Lily cry. She was seated on the bed and was crying as she played with her fingers.

She had been crying since they got back to his place and he couldn't get her to stop. He has yelled at her countless times, he also tried being authoritative but still, she wouldn't stop crying.

"Come on, Lily. Stop crying." He snapped at her and she flinched, her cries died down and he sighed in relief.

"Great. Thank you." He sighed and took a seat next to her.

"You shot him. You shot my husband." Lily said and looked up at him.

"Yeah, I know. On his arm." He replied and rolled his eyes.

"But he didn't do anything to you."

"But he wanted to touch you and I couldn't let that happen." He replied and Lily scoffed.

"Don't you get it, Zach? He is my husband, I have kids with him. I am legally married to him, I can't be with you." She said and El Diablo nodded.

"Great. Then I guess I will kill him and your kids so you won't have a reason to be with him. Great, right?" He asked and smirked.

"If the whole world was against me, what would you do?" Lily suddenly asked and he raised his brows. He was quiet for a few seconds before speaking up.

"I will fight for you." He replied and she looked away from him.

Lily shook her head and stood up, she ran her hand through her hair and sniffed.

"You have to stop, Zach. You really have to stop this." she said.

He stood up and walked towards her.

"Why?"

"Because you can't have me! I don't belong to you, I belong to someone else! Stop obsessing over me!" Lily yelled.

"You think I haven't tried?! Do you think all these months you were gone, do you think I haven't tried? I can't not want you, Lily. I have tried but I can't stop. I want you, Lily, and I don't care if I have to kill everyone that tries to stop me. It's either you are with me or with no one else!"
