One hundred and four

I was shocked and didn't react at first. Everyone around me seemed surprised as well, probably because there hadn't been such an extreme dare since we started the game. However, instead of trying to stop Amanda, they seemed even more excited and urged me on.

I bit my lip, uncertainty gnawing at me. "I… I don't know..."

Lawson's voice boomed over the excitement. "Come on, Selene, don't be a buzzkill. It's all in good fun."

I felt embarrassed and didn't know what to do, but Lawson couldn't resist teasing me, saying that I couldn't escape from it.

Feeling a bit cornered, I looked around, considering my options. I knew I could choose to drink instead, but I didn't want to be the party pooper. No one had chosen to drink before me, and I didn't want to be the first to break that streak. My gaze shifted to Alexander and Dominic, both of whom were staring at me. It struck me that they were the only two men in the crowd whom I was actually familiar with.

Alexander was a colleague who always seemed decent and respectful, and Dominic was my boss – my freaking boss! The idea of kissing either of them in this situation felt utterly far-fetched and surreal. Could I really pull off such a bold move on them?

Seeing that I was stuck in making a choice, Vivian intervened, her voice slightly slurred from the wine. "Oh, come on, guys, let's not make a big deal out of this. Just let the poor girl have a glass and move on with it." She giggled, swaying a bit in her seat.

Vivian's suggestion was met with a mix of agreement and relief from the group. She continued with a playful grin, her words slightly slurred, "I mean, seriously, who does Selene even know well enough here to kiss? And let's not forget, she can't possibly kiss our boss, can she?"

A hushed silence fell over the room as all eyes turned to Dominic, whose expression remained neutral.

Lawson chimed in, a mischievous glint in his gaze, "Well, now that Vivian mentions it, boss didn't disagree, did he?" He smirked, raising an eyebrow as if daring Dominic to respond. I couldn't help but take note of how Lawson never seems afraid of him.

My heart raced as I looked towards Dominic, and our gazes met unexpectedly. He didn't seem bothered or offended by Lawson's comment. In fact, he appeared rather indifferent, though his eyes held a certain intrigue.

I couldn't help but shudder at the thought of such a daring move, especially with my boss. I turned my attention back to the glass of wine before me, dreading the potential hangover the next day. With a resigned sigh, I reached for the glass, and, feeling a mix of defiance and camaraderie, I downed two glasses of wine in quick succession.

The room erupted in cheers and applause, the tension dissipating as the focus shifted away from me bit I could still feel both Alexander and Dominic's gaze on me.
