Chapter 10
Arlington POV
“What do you mean... kill you?” I stammered, I have never felt more saddened in my life, was it because I told her about her mother, why she suddenly has a change of heart and wants to die? Well if that's what she wants, I guess she will have to do it herself, I won't take part in it. Sliding my gun across the table, she stared down at it, with parted lips, glances of confusion, written all over her face,
“I took an oath, never to harm women... Or kids, and I will forever stand by it, so if you want to die, be my guest and do it yourself,” I mumbled, watching her studying the surroundings carefully before snatching the gun in her trembling hands, pointing it at me. Wiggling my finger in the air, I signaled to my men to stand down, they were watching, and I know she wasn't going to shoot me, but they won't think twice about shooting her.
“Confused... A minute ago you wanted to be dead, now you have a gun pointed at me,”
“I don't trust you Crown, I know that I shouldn't, tell me what you know about Sandra Borland,”
So she took her mother's last name, which means she has never met her father, that's tragic, my mother just got up and left one day, I don't remember her face, or did she leave any traces of her around the house, no pictures, nothing... Only the room Paige was sleeping in.
“As I said, I know nothing about her, I have been doing my digging, searching for my own mother when I came across yours, and all I know is Morris is involved heavily in what happened to her, and he paid off the cops to cover it up,” I clutched on the teacup handle, bringing it to my mouth, sipping the warm liquid carefully, Yum, it was peppermint, my favorite.
“How do I know you weren't involved too,” she sobbed, ok probably I was wrong, and she is going to shoot me, “Because I just told you so,” I twitched my fingers again, I know my men, and if she continued to point that gun at my face, I will be having eggs and her brains for breakfast “Oh, yeah why should I believe anything you say, you're lying about Mary, what else you could be lying about?”
“Look around, there are twelve snipers aimed at you right now, you can't see them, but I know they're hiding points, for instance,” I pointed at a tree, a few feet away from the garden, “One is over there,”
“Maybe I want to shoot you, maybe I want to die too,”
“Sweet, but as nice as your offer sounds, I don't feel very Romeo and Juliet-ish today So... Put the gun down before you get yourself killed,”
“No,” she shook her head, “I need more answers”
“Then you have left me with no choice,”
“What—”
Clasping my hands over hers, I nudged the muzzle down to the table, pushing the slide backward, catching the magazine as it fell from the firearm,
“The next time you point a gun to my face... Only one of us will be walking away,” I stood up from the table, “Breakfast was nice... Well for most of it,”
“Arlington... please,” she pleaded as I walked away “Listen to me,” she yanked my arm, inflicting me to turn to her,
Gripping my hands around her throat, I nudged her backward, staring down into her eyes, our lips brushing against each other,
“Paige... For all my life I am considered to be a terror, a crime demon walking among the living, and baby girl I promised myself to never bring harm to a woman, but you violated that rule when you pointed a gun to my face... I will hurt you, Paige, I will so don't push me,”
I ogled down at her lips as I warned her, it wasn't a threat, I was only trying to scare her, but she wasn't afraid, she was so used to things like this, it was like nothing to her, and instead of wanting to do what I told her I would, my mind was somewhere else. I was starting to feel something, a distant care in my heart... For her.
“I'm sorry... I— I need you to fake my death, that's the only way... I can have a fresh start,”
“I'm sorry, I can't help you,” I released her, “I can't,”
Hurrying away from her, I stumbled into the house, slamming my office door behind me. Clasping onto the edge of the desk my heart hammered into my chest, with my breathing shortens into gasps,
“Help,” I tried to yell, but it came out as a whisper,
“Mr. Crown, Miguel wants to know if— Oh my God, Arlington,” my hands clutching on to my chest, my eyes shifted to her Pouring out a cup of water, she rushed to my side, bringing the cup to my lips, I could see it in her eyes, her feelings for me has grown, it was no longer just sex, she loved me. And that wasn't good, and it means that I will have to end this. My breathing was now back to normal, her soft palm caressing my back helped,
“What happened? What triggered it?”
“I— don't know,” I mumbled, and truly I didn't, it has been ages since I had a panic attack and all it took was one situation with Paige to triggered it,
“Can't you take today off? Spend the day in bed,”
“I can't... I have a business to take care of,”
“Oh, I see.” She muttered, lowering her gaze to the floor,
I know that look, that's the look she has when I failed to observe her body language, she was trying to tell me that she needed to be touched. Dipping into my pocket for my phone, I dial Sebastian's number,
“I will be out in a minute, get everyone ready,” I mumbled. Lowering the phone from my ear, I cupped her chin, lifting her face to meet my stares, “What did I tell you?” I whispered against her lips, untying the ribbon in her hair, letting It fall from the ponytail, loose on her shoulders,
“I— I don't remember,”
Wrapping it around her wrists, I tied them together, not breaking the gaze she whimpered against my lips,
“I want you to use words, if you want me to fuck you, I want you to say it,”
“Fuck me Arlington... Please, fuck me,” she whispered, Twirling her around, I braced her on the desk, trailing my hands up her legs, spreading her cheeks, I admired her body. Biting my lips, I slapped her ass, unbuckling my pants, watching it fall to my ankles. My cock was hard, pressing onto her entrance, my body weakens from her squirms, seeing how excited she gets, she wanted me inside her. Thrusting into her, I moaned lowly, enjoying the warmth of her core, Fuck.
“Oh my God, Arlington,” she tried to sustain her groans, no one can know, she was my little dirty secret “Fuck,” she whimpered, biting into the flesh of her hand, “Say it,” I grabbed a handful of her hair, moaning through clenched teeth, “I want to hear you fucking say it, woman,”
“I— I am coming, I am close,”
Pulling out, I rest it on her butt, choking it as the warm liquid drip from the tip, oozing down her ass crack. Reaching for a napkin, she clasped onto my arm, stopping me, “Don't— let me do it,” she whispered, stooping before me, she wrapped her hands around my legs, swallowing both my cock and nut sacks, losing them in the endless pit she calls a throat,
Forcing my eyes close, my toes curled up in my shoes, how did she do it, every single time I would orgasm, she would find the hidden remains, and try to suck it out of me,
“Stop... I— have to leave,” I stepped away, pulling my pants up, “Later then?”
“I— have to leave,” I ignored her, walking away
“Aren't you forgetting something,” she waved her bonded hands around,
“You will figure it out,” I smirked heading out to the front, where my men were waiting for me,
“Boss,” Miguel ran up to me, “I told the maid to ask you...”
“Do as you please Miguel, I don't care if this motherfucker lives or dies... It's Morris I need,” I hurried in the waiting car,
“Took you long enough,” Sebastian taunted,
“Don't start,” I warned, but he wasn't threatened by this “You know Crown, your father was the wisest old fool I ever know, he taught me everything I know... That includes the observance of people,”
“And what did your observations concluded?”
“Women... One of God riskiest creation, sweet, charming, giver of lives,”
“I had a panic attack,”
“And I what... Or who caused that,”
“I wasn't with her,” I glared at him, whispering,
“I know, you were with that maid,” but I saw what happened... in the garden, you burn for the girl,”
“I hardly know her,”
“Exactly so... How did you know she wouldn't have shot you? Tell me, how did you know?”
“I didn't— I just... know she wouldn't,”
“Your father wouldn't have approved you know, never like Sandra much,”
“What do you mean?” I glared at him, but he said nothing, he only looked away,
“Oh, my God,” I didn't know my mother, Paige didn't know her father, “Is she...” My voice stuttered, “Is she my sister?”
