Chapter 33: Anger!

Mel's PoV

"Hello Ma? Ma!?" I asked eagerly when my cellphone rang.

"Oh dear? It seem like you just talked to me now?" she asked in astonishment.

"If you only knew Mom! Geez, I call you every day Mom and hope you answer! And thank you now and you called me by yourself," I complained that I could not control my feelings.

"Shhhh I'm sorry," ahe said and I just took a deep breath to calm down.

"I'm sorry," I could only say.

"Oh what do you wanted to say?" she asked and I took a deep breath to tell him everything.

"My older brother is doomed," I said and I could feel my tears welling up.

"W-what? Can you repeat what you said?" when she was clear so I looked up so that my tears would not fall.

"My older brother was hit on the head. Until now he still hasn't woken up," I said and I could hear my Mom crying.

"How? Why? What happened?" she asked tearfully and I couldn't stop my tears from dripping.

"I don't know Mom.. it's like someone just tripped on him," I said sobbing.

"I just heard.. he was rushed to the hospital. It's been three weeks now since he was beaten," I said while keeping my voice from being hoisted.

"Huh?" she only said and all I could hear on the other line was crying and sobbing.

"The.. doctor said he might wake up this week or next week," I said and wiped away my tears.

"What! Was the suspect caught? Huh? Was they imprisoned?" she asked and I let out a deep breath before he answered.

"I don't know yet Mom, my older brother and I have been by his side since he transferred here. Besides, I don't have time to find out because of my studies," I explained and she stopped crying.

"How are you? Are you all right? Is there still money there? I'll send it right away .. I'll just tell my bos—."

"Mom.."

"My boss is still at work, wait—."

"Mom! Calm down! I'm fine, there's no problem. Money isn't a problem, I'm just waiting for my older brother to wake up. Also, don't bother to send money... we're fine," I said. I told him because I knew she was confused.

"Mom.. take a deep breath. Don't worry about us here, okay? Also, take care of yourself, huh?" I said as my tears flowed.

"Dear.. I'm so sorry, Because I'm not watching over you. I'm really sorry," Mom sobbed.

"Don't cry anymore, you're making me cry too," I said crying.

"I'm going to off it Mom, 'kay? And please Mom.. don't get too tired there, is that clear?" I said forcing her not to sob anymore.

"Yes dear.. I will do my best and I can do it for you. I love you remember that, okay?" ahe said that she still couldn't stop crying.

"I love you too Mom. Especially my older brother," I said with tears in my eyes.

"All right, let me off it... maybe my boss will catch me here," she said and he off the call herself. When she turned off the call, I shed tears, I tried not to make any noise. My chest tightens because of this emotion! I forced a deep breath then wiped away my tears.

"Brother.. I'm going to leave, okay? The youngest is just going somewhere," I said and took my bag and adjusted my appearance before leaving the hospital. I just got in the jeep and told the driver that I need to go at the precinct. I need to know if anything has happened to their investigation.

"Good morning ma'am? What do they need?" the police greeted me when I went to where the information was.

"Good morning too. I'm here to ask how you are doing in your investigation of my brother's case," I said and he looked at the thick paper he was holding.

"What is your brother's name?" he asked and looked up at me.

"Tareon Cyan," I replied and he looked again at the thick paper he was holding.

"Ahh.. about him, the suspect has been caught. But we are still asking because he has not spoken about his case yet," he replied.

"Can I see him?" I asked desperately because I wanted to see the face of that criminal.

"Yes ma'am. Follow me," he said and stood up. When I saw what he was referring to I could not stop myself from rushing to him.

"YOU'RE ANIMAL! You have no mercy! How DARE you to treated my brother like a useless thing?!" I shouted angrily as I tried to reach him.

"Ma'am.. ma'am, calm down. I might send you away," said the police and I just forced myself to calm down.

"I'm sorry," I said and straightened my blocking hair.

"I HOPE YOU STAY AND ROT IN YOUR CAGE!" I shouted angrily and then I turned around and left.

My anger is overflowing even he's with just at my age! Aghhhh! I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to calm my angry feelings. I just make the jeep stop heading in my direction and went straight home. When I arrived, I immediately went to the bedroom and lay down there. I took my cellphone phone to let my Mom know that the inane had been caught. Then I looked at the time and it's now two o'clock, I reminded Alex what he was doing now.

"Oh Mel why did you get called?" she asked when she answered my call.

"Are you doing anything right now? Let's go out?" I ask because it's Sunday.

"Sure, I wanted to go out too," she said and I heard the sound of his bed.

"All right, I'm just going to change. Just text me where we're going," she said and turned off the call. I changed my clothes and then I just took a taxi so that I could go faster. While on the ride, I told Shane that we would meet at a zoo or park where the trees could be seen.

I arrived at my destination and Shane said she was coming. I just bought something to eat and sat in the empty seat while eating what I bought.

"Why did you choose this place? You have a problem, I guess?" she asked and she really knew such things.

"Oumm. Sit down," I said and she sat down in the seat I provided.

"What's our problem there mare?" she was joking and I laughed and she took some food.

"Maybe you don't know that my older brother is dying in the hospital right now," I said initially while looking up at the trees.

"Ha? Is it about what you cooked?" she asked in shock.

"Ha? Not HAHAHAHAH that's so long!" I said when I looked at her.

"Eh what's the reason slhe was hospitalized?" she asked.

“Because of a person who was just at my age who tripped my older brother and hit him with a hard object on the head,” I said angrily.

"Oh what's your brother's condition now?" she asked worriedly.

"He's just sleeping," I said and we both laughed.

"Has the perpetrator been caught?" she asked.

"Yes, I just got from there. My whole body suddenly went into boiling water when I saw his face," I said, trying not to raise my voice.

"Tch! He would have rotted there!" she said and I agreed.

"That's what I told him," I replied and stood up.

"Let's just go for a walk," I said and she stood up.
