Chapter 30: Weird Ft. Visitation

Mel's PoV

It's Sunday and my older brother still hasn't woken up. And until now, Mama still doesn't know about it. It's Sunday and until now I still don't know who is in arrears with my brother! Whoever did it! For whatever reason, he seems to have done something that a normal person shouldn't do. Is it still normal for those who did it? Luckily for him, he can roam around peacefully without worrying about any problems, but, what about my older brother? Every day I expected him to wake up right away from his bed. Hopefully whoever did this unacceptable thing will be able to capture it.

"Goodmorning," the doctor greeted as he stepped inside.

"Good morning, doc," I replied and stood up suddenly.

"Like I said, you don't have anything to worry about. He is stable now and his condition is okay. As for the bill, you don't have anything to worry about there either. We expected that by next week he will wake up," he said and approached my older brother and looked at his arm and head.

"Thank you Doc," I replied.

"Your brother's too adorable," he said but I didn't hear much.

"Are you saying something, Doc?" I asked as he held my brother's head.

"Ah.. it's nothing. I need to go," he just said and left suddenly.

"Weird," I said as I prepared for my meal this morning.

"What did the Doctor say?" someone suddenly came in so I turned around.

"Ahh, he said I don't have to worry anymore. Maybe next week he'll wake up," I replied and he smiled in response.

"Why are you so dressed today, huh? Do you have a walk?" I asked an extra question.

"HAHA no.. I'm from church, I went to church. Besides.. I also included him in my prayers," he added and turned to my brother.

"Thank you, I appreciate it," was my only response and continued what I had been doing before.

"What are you doing?" he asked and laid something on the table.

"I'm cooking my breakfast," I replied.

"Don't bother anymore, it'll be waste then. I have something with me, here," he said and showed me the cellophane with food.

"Tch, you don't have to do that.. but thank you," I just said and prepared what he brought.

"Mel...," he said.

"Uhmm?" I replied as I continued what I was doing.

"I have a question," he said but I still didn't look at him.

"Oumm? What's it?" I will ask.

"I wish it was about me," he said and I stopped what I was doing.

"What ... what about you?" I asked and turned to him.

"Do you know anything about me?" I was expecting that question from him but I couldn't think of anything to say to him.

"Just tell me the truth Mel.. have we been together before?" he added and I was stunned.

"A-ahh ehhh," I replied confused as he suddenly stood up and approached me.

"Just tell me the truth, tell me because I'm really confused. Even if I try to remember about you, I can't really remember with you. I just feel like I've really been with you before," he said and his eyes were already watering.

"Ahh.. calm down first," I said and pushed him softly. He was silent and said nothing and I was also worried about the situation I was in.

"We used to be lovers," I said first and he looked up at me.

"B-but I don't remember having a girlfriend?" he asked me with tears in his eyes.

"I-I don't know.. when I left you, I don't know what happened to you. Besides, I haven't heard from you since I left that place," I said and he stood up suddenly. .

"What place?" he asked aggressively.

"Wait, just calm down. At our old school... at our FNH School," I replied and he sat down.

"How did you leave me," he suddenly asked and I was surprised by it.

"HA!?" I shouted in shock.

"Este I mean, is that even necessary?" I answered hesitantly.

"Can I have the details?" he begs.

"Ahh.. ehh y-yeah sure," I replied hesitantly.

I told him everything we had been together, how we had met and how we had separated. And in the I'm the one who only cried but he was still confused even though I explained everything to him.

"Is that all really? Nothing else?" he asked desperately.

"Yes," was my short reply. We both fell silent so no one tried to make noise with the two of us. He got up and left the room without leaving a word.

"HAYSSST," I let out a loud sigh. I just continued what I had been doing before and then ate.

I also took a shower then took my cellphone to call my Mom. Waiting for a few minutes still no one answered, meaning she still didn't have time to talk to us. I just put my cellphone back in my bag and then dried my hair again.

"What could have happened to him now?" I even asked in my mind worrying Alex what he was doing now.

"Tch! Is it my fault he forgot me right away?" I asked sarcastically in my mind and just sat on the couch when I finished wrapping my hair in a towel.

Later, there was a knock and he entered. I did not know him although he was carrying a basket full of fruits.

"Who are they?" I asked and stood up.

"I'm Tar's science teacher," she replied and I was embarrassed.

"Oh? Sit down ma'am," I said and presented him with the sofa.

"It's okay sister.. where should I put it?" she asked.

"Just there on the table ma'am," I replied.

"Why did you get a visit, ma'am?" I ask in confusion.

"I just want to see Tar's condition, what his condition right now. I'm still blaming myself for what happened," she said and sat on the couch.

"But? Why are you blaming yourself, ma'am?" I asked in astonishment.

"If he hadn't joined the contest, he might not be like that now," he said so I came over to hold his cold hand.

"Ma'am, don't say that thing. It's not your fault that my brother is like that, the one who tripped with him is to blame. Besides, it's my brother's decision to join the contest," I said to soothe her

"Thank you dear, huh? I'll ask my co-teacher to give him books so he doesn't fail this semester," she said and she took my hand.

"Thank you very much ma'am for your consideration," I replied and she slowly let go of my hand.

"It's alright.. then I'll head first because I still have to go," she said and stood up.

"All right ma'am, thank you very much for your visit," I said and stood up.

"I should be the one to thank you dear .. I'm going now," she said and went out to the door. I just sat down and threw my body on the couch.

"Nii-san! You're too full at yourself! That's why you have broken skull now!" I joked more and closed my eyes.
