Chapter 63
Will's POV
After Kai excused herself Jace and I looked more into the contract we had. Most wanted what we already agreed on except they all wanted a strong or fellow Original male from their clans to mate with Kai. Some added that they would like a child from her at some point so the Originals of their Clans could gain something from the union. Others wanted wanted other things land, money, on was asking for one of our top shipping companies, of course it was the Trolls asking. “Jace have you been able to find out how this all started? It couldn't have just been the coronation fiasco there has to be something else. Have any of your contacts from the other clans contacted you back yet?” I asked.
“No and its strange too. I usually hear from the Fairy and Dragon clans right away, but everyone has been silent. What ever is happening is effecting every clan and something like this hasn't been recorded in a couple millennia. If what you've told me is true and Kai is the daughter of the goddess then its very possible that the Originals from each clan are emerging to bring about a new age of creatures,” Jace said sitting back in his chair. From what I read in Kai's book every some many thousand years new Originals are supposed to emerge, but I misunderstood who the female would be in all this. “I need you to get something from Kai's apartment. I'll give you a key. Bring the box my father gave her. I think I might have some answers for us. I'll jus.....” I was about to get the key when I felt a shift in my mate bond.
So she chose him. I thought catching my breath as I could now feel Nico, but not in the same way I felt Kai's bond. It was like I could feel him through my mating mark with Kai almost like I could talk to him. Nico? Can you hear me? I said reaching for Nico. A surprised emotion brushed along my mind with an answer from Nico, Will? Is that you? How is this possible? It all made sense now who Nico really was. Your from the Originals bloodline of Jaguars aren't you? I asked him seriously. “......Yes, Meemaw asked me not to say anything. To let nature take its course so that's what I did. Nico replied to me. I could tell by the sincerity in his voice that he was telling the truth, She chose you, huh? Well I'm happy for you. I thought I wouldn't be, but I am. She's happy and that's what matters most. Keep her safe I have some work to handle tonight.
He chuckled, I can handle that. I need time with her tonight. Make sure to show up for breakfast. She'll be sad if she doesn't see you in the morning. Finding myself feeling humbled by this man I answered with a simple Will do. Kai has more ability then she knows and from what I read in that book there could be more to come. Hopefully Jace can get to it before anythings happens to it.

Jace's POV
Seeing my best friend act as if some male wasn't all over his mate was a shock to me and then to findout that this male could possibly be a potential mate tot he queen was even more shocking. Wolfs were monogamous creature's who never shared their mates let alone the Alpha King sharing his Luna Queen. I just couldn't believe what was happening, but from everything he explained to me this was the will of the goddess as well as the other gods.
Driving to Kai's apartment to retrieve the box he asked me to get seemed like a scouts or aids job, but he asked me to get it. It must be important. I thought getting a text from Kim letting me know dinner was almost ready. I find her number and press call waiting for her to pick up. “Hey babe dinner is almost ready you going to be home soon?” Kim asked picking up the phone. “I'm going to be a bit late. Will has me picking something up from Kai's place and then I'll be right home keep it in the oven to stay warm turn it all the way down the the warm setting so it doesn't burn,” I said wanting to be home more then I wanted to get this stupid box. “Alright get here soon. I've got a surprise for you,” she said sounding like a song bird. “Okay, okay I'll be there soon. Love you, bye.” I said hanging up and pulling into the pack where Kai parks her car Which was still in its spot, but had the windows smashed in.
Looking at her apartment door it was broke down as well so I approached with caution. Listening for movement and hearing none, but smelling a pungent odor, I quietly make my way up the stares to see a figure sitting at the table with the box sitting next to him. “So they sent a dog to get something extremely important. They had no clue what they have. Well dog lets get this over with before this get worse.” the figure said pulling back their hood revealing striped cat ears. Tiger Clan. What are they doing here? “As if you know a dog when you see one. Your clan stays hidden until they want something. Your not a clan just a bunch of gangsters ready to take what they want. Get to the point why do you want that box?” I asked gun pointed at him my sense expanded checking for more targets close by. There were two on the roof waiting and one in the shop emptying the safe.
“Stealing from the royal family is an act of treason as well as a declaration of war. What could you possibly gain from this?” I asked minding linking Will. Get you ass to your wife's apartment! We have a huge problem. Will responded, Understood we'll be there in a second. Then he cut the link. “We want your Queen of course. She's the main Original or haven't you fools figured it out yet?” This tigerman said pulling out his own gun pointing it at me. In front of the bed a portal appeared and the Kings and Queen walk through it ready to fight. “And what makes you think you can take me so easily?” the queen says weapons at the ready.
The tiger chuckles darkly saying, “Because we know what you want and we want the power you have. So lets make this easy and you come with us willingly and quietly.” He let an energy whip loose from his wrist snapping it a few times to get his point across. “You stupid cat you have to challenge her first as she is an Alpha! You as a cat creature should know this!” Nico shouted putting the cat in his place. “And what makes you think I care about rules?” he said sending out his whip which wrapped around the queens throat.
