Chapter 72 ALL MINE.

Chapter 72 ALL MINE.
\~~~RAINA.

Oh, hell, my head hurts.

No, hurt is too small a word. It feels like someone took my skull, cracked it open, and then shook it violently for fun. I groaned and rolled slightly, pressing my face deeper into my pillow.

This pillow is so… firm… and warm.

And… sturdy.

Oh, so awesome.

Wait, sturdy?

I frowned even in my sleep and snuggled closer to it, seeking comfort like a fool. It didn’t give way under my weight the way pillows usually did. Instead, it stayed solid and unmoving.

Huh, is this a teddy bear?

When did I buy a teddy bear?

I can't remember buying one. Wait, was it gifted to me?

And why does my teddy bear smell like heaven?

The scent hit me properly now and it was clean, masculine… and familiar in a way that made something flutter uneasily in my chest. I inhaled again before my brain could catch up.

Wait.

This is definitely not a pillow.

And it is most certainly not a teddy bear.

This thing has a chest and it is fucking rising and falling slowly.

My palm was already pressed against what I believe was a chest and I pressed it just a little bit harder, and yeah… THIS. IS. NOT. A. TEDDY. BEAR.

My heart skipped, and I sniffed.

Oh no.

Was I still dreaming?

Please, God, let me still be dreaming.

Slowly, really painfully slowly, I opened my eyes and reality came crashing down on me in brutal fragments.

A broad chest was right in front of my face and a strong arm wrapped securely around my waist.

My leg was thrown carelessly over another leg, and our knees were tangled together. His leg crossed mine like it belonged there. My arm was wrapped around his stomach, and my palm was resting flat against his warm skin as though it had always been meant to be there.

And his arm?

It was fully around me protectively, and possessively like he had pulled me close in his sleep and never let go.

Oh God.

My breath caught in my throat, and then I looked up at him.

He was awake.

God, he was so wide awake.

And, hell, he was staring straight back at me.

Shit.

Absolute, unforgivable shit.

I remained still, not breathing, and definitely not blinking. I didn’t even dare to shift, because I was seriously aware that any movement would make things… worse.

I just stared at him, silently begging the universe to open up and swallow me whole.

Please, just take me.

I promise I won’t complain.

Should I pretend I am sleepwalking?

No, that will look pathetic, right?

Should I play dead, then?

Also pathetic.

Before I could settle on a method of escape, his lips curved ever so slightly.

“Morning to you too, solnishko.”

God, his voice.

It was deeper than I had ever heard it. It was rough, slow, and it seemed like it was still heavy with sleep. It wrapped around my nerves and pulled me tight in all the wrong places.

I swear, I instantly felt damp down there.

So embarrassing.

He smelled even better up close. His warm skin, the unmistakable scent of him, and oh, his voice that really sounded heavenly.

“M… go… g…” My mouth refused to cooperate, my brain short-circuiting completely.

“Don’t worry,” he murmured. “I won’t bite you.”

His breath brushed my cheek, and my body reacted traitorously. I shifted without thinking and instantly became aware of just how close we were.

Just then, I felt something suddenly poke my stomach, and without thinking twice, I reached out for it, hoping to push it away.

But instantly, I closed my eyes in greater embarrassment as I realized what it was.

Fuck, no.

No, no, no.

This cannot be happening.

Of course, it was morning, and he was a man.

A man!

Fuck, a very active man!

Still, my hand refused to leave his hardened dick, and my eyes remained closed.

I felt my face and my ears burned and it was as though my dignity had packed its bags and left.

Why wasn’t my hand moving away?

Why was my body frozen like this?

“I did?!” I widened my eyes, instinctively tightening my grip around his dick.

“Relax, sunshine,” Luciano let out a groan, and I widened my eyes.

Just that groan did something to me.

That sound…

God.

Heat pooled low in my stomach, sharp and sudden, and I hated myself for it. I hated that my body remembered pieces of last night. His arms, his voice, and the way he had held me like I was fragile and wanted all at once.

“Sorry!” I finally released his member and tried to get up, but he was still holding me tight, and I had no other choice but to fall back on the bed beside him.

“Please,” I whispered, mortified. “Let me go.”

“Why?” he asked calmly. “You wanted the opposite yesterday. You are sober now, more good for us.”

My face heated instantly as memories crashed into me all at once.

The bar, the alcohol, and the way my mouth was running faster than my brain.

I was drunk and I had said those dangerous things to him.

“I was…”

“Drunk?” he interrupted lightly. “You are not going to use that cliche line, are you?”

I swallowed hard as I was still feeling his cock pressing against me, and this time harder than it was.

Was it just a morning thing, or was this man merely aroused because of me?

I suddenly became aware of myself. My shirt was gone, my bra was unhooked from the back, barely hanging on and I felt exposed in ways that had nothing to do with clothing.

“Please,” I said again, softer now.

He didn’t answer immediately.

Instead, he pulled me closer to himself, his presence overwhelming. His hand slid to the small of my waist, “So, now, sunshine,” he murmured.

“This pleasure is all mine, now,” he pressed his lips on my neck.

Oh, whatever, just whatever!
