Chapter 135

“Come on Sky, you don’t actually want our marriage to dissolve,” No question, just pure certainty to Skylar’s ears. As if he was simply reminding her of what she wants…as if she needed a prompt.

“Oh, but I do.” She widened her stance, her arms fidgeting at her sides, “I am in league with your brother, remember?” she narrowed her eyes at him, his steps uncertain, faltering even. Good, she thought. Leverage was what she needed to spin the situation into a change of hands. Hers. From the moment he’d made the decision to come here he’d held all the cards, all the control and Skylar was not content with that.

“I know about the real reason behind your…” he paused searching for a word that wouldn’t upset him, “relationship with Colin.” He knew she was taunting him, the memory of his accusation haunting even his mind. Her jaw clenched and she prowled closer to him.

“Thomas?” She huffed out a disbelieving laugh, watching as he nodded. Biting down on her lower lip she shook her head. Of course it was Thomas. The man had loyalties beside her, that she could forgive especially since it came from a place of care. Not only for Austin but for her too. What she couldn’t forgive was Austin traipsing over here only after a third party to their relationship had given him a reason too. That was bruising to her ego, to her very being.

“It was a means to an end with an unexpected consequence.” Austin related a summary to her as if she wasn’t the character in his head, “You don’t love him.” His eyes unyielding in its hold on her. The accusation hinting at some alternative and the thought sent prickling heat up the back of her neck.

“Doesn’t change anything.” She raised her brows and snarled. Her teeth glaring at him with a sharp promise. Her voice low, camouflaged as a whisper. It didn’t escape her awareness that they were in fact at her job. Discretion was a necessity.

“It changes everything, Sky. Don’t give up on us just yet.” He threw caution to the wind and reached out to hold her arms. Sensing what he was set to do, Skylar unmasked the anger she’d been carefully concealing, batting his hands away, her eyes brimming with fury. “No it hasn’t.” her nostrils flaring, barely noticeable by the petite shape of her nose. “You sought me out because Thomas convinced you to.” She was pushing a finger into his chest as she hurdled the accusation, leaning up on her toes to be closer to him in height.

“That’s not true,” he said, reaching to take hold of her hand in his, but she chuckled manically, kicking him in the shin of the very leg he’d injured. “Fuck.” He inhaled sharply, doubling over slightly as entire leg surged with liquid heat.

“It’s been a week.” She rasped as he stumbled back, stifling his groan by clenching his jaw. “You accused me,” she kept closing the distance he was creating between them, “allowed me to leave our home. No calls, no texts, no visits. And now you show up here and demand that I stay married to you because you find out that I do not have feelings for your brother?” she took a swing at his face as he begun straightening, hitting him on the opposite side of his already bruised cheekbones.

“Sky,” he attempted to calm her down, but there was murder in her eyes.

“I don’t want to be married to you. I regret the day I said yes.” Her voice was raising, her fists pulled back ready to land another punch but as she swung, he grabbed her arm, twisting her around. He pushed her face first into the door, holding one of her arm behind her back and the other against the door. She was trapped, between his body and the door.

“Calm down.” He was pressed up against her, whispering the words in her ear, not the best position for a man who’d been starved of having his wife submit to him in the most erotic manner possible. “You don’t mean that.”

“Ugh!” She rattled against him, the friction of her ass against him causing his cock to stir, he clenched his jaw attempting to focus on the pain ebbing in his face and legs. “Let go of me Cyner.” She growled but it was more than just anger. The proximity was affecting her too. Her chest was heaving, her breath shallow and her back arching back against him.

“I love you Sky,” he said, lowering his head to her ear. Her struggling becoming less violent. “It took me too long to say those words and yes I can admit that I’ve been…”

“A dick?” she offered, no sense of calm in her voice, but her heart was drumming away in her chest. Too fast and too loud to permit thought into her head. She wanted to be angry at him, to rage on. But she’d forgotten all logical thought to be upset. Those three words shouldn’t have this effect on her. They were mere words and yet she was losing her resolve.

“I’ll accept that,” he nuzzled closer to her. “I was jealous and irrational. I did drive by your work last week and say Colin exiting, that didn't help the confusing emotions I felt. But I came back for you, not because someone had to convince me but because what I thought before was all in my head. I thought you loved someone else, that I had no chance and I felt like a fool thinking that I fell in love for nothing. I thought I could never have you. ”

“I don’t care,” she began struggling again, "Your excuses may be valid but I am still angry. The pretty words didn't solve anything." she hissed, her shoulders hurting from being pressed up like this. It reminded her of their first meeting when he'd realised who she was, “Let me go.” She pushed back against him. That was a mistake. Apart from him tightening his hold, she discovered that he was more interested in just keeping her from hitting him.

“You know what I think?” he pressed into her from behind, noting the way she stilled at the discovery of his erection “I think you like this,” he groaned into her ear, his voice throaty and husky. “I think you could get away if you wanted to…but you don’t.” he trapped dropped his grip on the arm he held behind her back, trapping it between her body and his. Using his free hand to brush her hair to the other side of her shoulder. Giving his better access to her profile.

“I can’t,” she lied. Skylar hated the shaky breaths escaping her mouth, and the way her pores came alive under the promise of having him touch her again. Whatever resolve she had in getting away from him was waning.

“Lucky for me you’re wearing a dress today.” He chuckled seductively against her neck, Skylar arching her neck to give him greater access and she smiled against her skin as he pressed a soft kiss into her. His free hand roaming down to catch the hem of her, he skated his fingers along the back of her knee and upwards under the dress, yanking it up as he went.

Skylar’s breathing became ragged, echoing and urging him on in the silence. “Such a good girl when I’m touching you.” He teased her, his fingers stroking her opening through her lace panties. The fabric already damp and hot against her intimate flesh. Austin shuddered against her, his dick jerking against her ass. He exhaled heavily into her ear.

“Are you going to deny that you want me?” he shifted her panties to the side, sliding an anticipatory finger into her dripping centre. Skylar let out a gasp. “Yes,” she muttered, her eyes closing. “I mean no,” she caught herself getting lost in being touched, no one had ever been able to touch her like this, “I don’t want any part of you.” She muttered unconvincingly, knowing that Austin didn’t believe her. Hoping with everything in her that he didn’t believe her. That he didn’t stop.

“Maintaining that when your pussy is soaking wet for my cock?” he added another finger, driving it up as deep in her, satisfied when her body jerked upwards, a longing gasp hanging on her tongue.

“You want me to touch you,” his fingers dropped out of her with a plop as he moved to unbuckle his belt and unzip his pants. Freeing his cock from its prison. “Want me to fuck you,” the tone of his voice, soft, demanding, sexy against her ears were heightening the experience to the point that nothing else mattered. Nothing but the raw, primal need to have him sink into her.

Hiking her dress up and pushing her panties back to the side he teased at her opening with the head of his cock. Skylar shuddered, pushing back to have him slid into her. He grinned, licking her ear. “I thought you didn’t want me.” He provoked, thrusting forward, plunging deep into her that a tiny cry escaped her lips.

“Shhh,” he hissed against her ear, “you don’t want anyone to hear us, now do you.” His words becoming unsteady as he continued his assault. Skylar joining in, meeting him thrust for thrust, biting down her bottom lips to refrain from making any sound. She was certain she drew blood, tasted the copper on her tongue, but it didn’t matter.

Nothing mattered as Austin’s thrusts became more erratic, his grip holding her hand to the door tightening, “God you feel amazing.” his groans sounding in her ear and causing her sight to blur as she approached her own high. Chased her own realise. She was catching up, grasping it firmly as he made a single deep thrust into her,

“I’ve missed this pussy,” he groaned as he burst into a million flames inside of her, Skylar’s own climax exploding with his and they raged, fizzling out together.

He slumped against her, both hanging onto the door for stability. “You undo me, Sky. You have no idea how much I fucking love you.” He said between breaths.

“I love you too, you idiot.” She muttered, catching her own breath. Feeling free enough to admit it to him despite lingering feelings about their last fight swirling around. Pride had no place in love. Not when she had no control over her body once Austin was concerned.

“I am not ever losing you again, you belong to me.” He was kissing her neck. “We’ll move past the damage we’ve done to each other. The damage I did to you. Just

give me a chance,” he pleaded and despite everything Skylar knew she couldn’t live without this man. As toxic as it sounded, it was the truth.

“And no more secrets.” He muttered to her, spinning her around to face him. He needed to look at her.

“No more secrets.” Skylar agreed. That was partially her fault. She should have come clean; this mess would have been avoided. But would they have admitted their love? That was a question she didn’t care about. He loved her. The man she was pining over like a love sick fool, loved her. Once there was love, she was certain they could work on everything else.

“Can I take you home then?” his eyes beamed with hope.

“Take me home,” she responded, her heart unburdened. Austin grinned from ear to ear, leaning down to claim her in a tender kiss. He had never allowed himself to feel this carefree in his affection for someone, but she had unlocked the bolts covering his heart as stealthily as a thief in the night and for her, it would always remain open.

THE END

Hey guys, this is the final chapter. Let me know your thoughts. I am considering an epilogue that should be done within two days. I also will keep my word on adding sneak peaks of Austin and Skylar's original storyline so you can see where I deviated. That will be after the epilogue so that those who do not wish to read them will not be forced to.

Thank you so much for the support on this series thus far. I hope you guys enjoyed Skylar and Austin's story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Feel free to leave constructive critisim.*
