Chapter Sixty Eight
Chapter Sixty Eight
Leo
Alex, lying on Bella's other side, leaned over and brushed a stray hair from her face. "Complicated doesn't even begin to describe it," he mused, voicing what we were all thinking.
Seth added, "But we've never been ones to shy away from a challenge, have we?"
Bella chuckled softly. "Guess not. But who would've thought the challenge would be this?"
The atmosphere in the room shifted, growing more serious. But instead of awkwardness, there was a sense of understanding, a silent pact forming between us. Even though we hadn't explicitly talked about the future and the complexities of the situation, it was clear: giving up wasn't an option. None of us were willing to let go of the magic we'd found together, no matter the obstacles.
"Honestly? I think we're all too stubborn to let anything stand in our way," Lucas commented.
The room erupted into soft laughter, lightening the mood. It was true. We were a determined bunch, always finding ways to overcome the hurdles life threw at us. And this unconventional relationship, as complicated as it was, felt worth every bit of effort.
Holding Bella close, I pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Whatever comes our way," I whispered, "we'll handle it. Together."
She sighed contentedly, snuggling closer. "Together."
Lazily, we lay sprawled across the bed, the soft light filtering through the curtains casting a gentle glow on all of us. The scent of our earlier activities still lingered in the air, a testament to the passion we'd just shared. It was one of those perfect moments where everything seemed to pause, allowing us to bask in the comfort and warmth of each other's presence.
In that tranquil aftermath, nestled between the sheets, I found myself lost in thought. We all lay in a harmonious tangle, the ebb and flow of our breaths syncing up in a natural rhythm. As I felt Bella’s soft exhale on my chest, my mind began painting images of our future.
I imagined Sunday breakfasts with laughter echoing, nights under a blanket of stars, shared responsibilities, and the joy of life's small moments – it all felt within reach. The very idea of us, in this unique bond, facing every tomorrow together, grew more and more enticing. That possibility of a harmonious, shared life, so different and yet so right, held an allure that tugged deeply at my heart.
It seemed perfect, like something I’d always yearned for but had never been able to imagine... until I mether.
I watched as Seth leaned forward, his confidence sure even in this heavy atmosphere. "When this all started, none of us expected it to become more than just some fun. We didn't plan this." Seth looked
"I've fallen for Bella," Seth's voice was steady, unwavering. "And I'm not going to hide it. I’m not ashamed of it."
Bella took a deep breath, her cheeks flushing. "I know how it sounds. I know it’s crazy, even to me." She met Mary's gaze, her voice raw with emotion. "But it’s the truth. I’ve fallen for them too. All of them."
Leocleared his throat, drawing all eyes to him. His usual jovial demeanor was tempered with seriousness. "I'm in love with Bella too," he confessed
With a wistful smile, I gazed at them, thinking how incredibly lucky I was. They seemed to be radiating an irresistible charm today, each in their own unique way.
Leo Caught my gaze first, his dark eyes twinkling mischievously. "Like what you see?" he teased, flexing his arm muscles in an exaggerated gesture.
I feigned shock, placing a hand over my heart. "Oh my! I might just faint from the sheer overwhelming display of machismo!"
Seth chuckled from my left, leaning in closer to whisper in my ear, his warm breath sending a tingling sensation down my spine. "I think you're just flustered because we keep getting better with age. Like fine wine."
Grinning, I turned toward him, placing a finger under his chin. "Oh, Seth, honey, while you definitely age like wine, I think more like cheese. Some might say he's...aged to perfection?"
Alex leaned in and smoothly interjected, "Careful, Bella. With all these compliments, you might just inflate our egos to an unsustainable size."
Winking at him, I quipped, "Wouldn't dream of it. Just calling it as I see it. I mean, seriously, did you guys make a pact with the devil or something? It's like you become more irresistible by the day."
Leo Smirked. "Maybe it's all that love from you. It has rejuvenating properties, you know."
I laughed. "Well, in that case, you'll all be forever young."
"Or," Seth added with a roguish grin, "it's just the effect you have on us. Keeps us on our toes, keeps the blood pumping. Good for the complexion, you know?"
Rolling my eyes playfully, I retorted, "Nice try. I'm pretty sure it's just your genes. But if you're trying to butter me up, it's working."
Lucas leaned in, his blue eyes soft yet intense. "You know, we might be a good-looking bunch," he started, his voice dripping with mock arrogance, "but there's a particular lady here whose beauty steals the show every single time."
Blushing slightly, I swatted him lightly on the arm. "Oh, stop. This isn't a competition, you know. Besides, surrounded by all of you, how could I not glow a little?"
Leopretended to ponder for a moment. "I have a theory," he mused. "We're all just reflections. We shine because you shine."
Seth snorted and smirked. "Deep, Leo. Real deep."
Chuckling, I shook my head at their antics. "All I know is, I'm one lucky girl to have such...visually pleasing company. And even luckier that you all have personalities to match those devilish good looks."
Lucas smirked, capturing my hand and placing a gentle kiss on the back. "Well, remember, you're the gem that completes this dashing ensemble."
The warmth in the cabin was unmistakable, filled with lighthearted laughter, flirtatious exchanges, and a bond that was only growing stronger.
Surrounded by the luxurious trappings of the private room, I could feel the tension of desire in the air. It wasn't just the altitude; being enclosed in this exclusive space with the four men I adored most was heady and intoxicating.
"Gentlemen," I began, a sly grin forming on my lips, "as much as I would love to christen this plane properly with each of you, I think patience is a virtue worth practicing." I let my fingers brush past Seth's thigh and winked at Vinnie, delighting in their collective groans.
Truth be told, I was way, way too nervous about the pregnancy news to be thinking about sex. I mean, I was always thinking about sex when I was around the guys – how could I not? But the news was so intense, so earth-shattering, it temporarily eclipsed my desire for them.
