Chapter 93

With a deep, low moan of Shaw’s name, Drake came. His entire body shuddered and jerked below Shaw as his seed spilled over Shaw’s hand. Even as he came down from his high, Drake’s body continued to twitch, and his inner muscles squeezed and relaxed around the full length of Shaw’s prick.

“So beautiful, Drake.” Shaw moved slowly, almost languidly in Drake’s body, his gaze never leaving Drake’s. He raised his semen-covered fingers to his mouth.”

A soft whimpering sound from Drake accompanied Shaw slowly and deliberately licking each finger clean while rocking his hips. To Shaw’s delight, his lover’s softened flesh began to fill again.

Bracing his hands either side of Drake’s head, Shaw stilled his movements.

“Tell me what you want.” Shaw closed the distance and ran his tongue over Drake’s lips.

“I want you to fill me with your seed, Shaw. I want to see you come. I want to give you pleasure. I want you to claim me as yours.” Drake leaned up and captured Shaw’s mouth, ravishing Shaw’s lips with his teeth and tongue.

When Shaw pulled back from the kiss, his voice was deep and ragged.

“You aremine. Only ever you.” Shaw knew it. To the depths of his soul and in every cell of his body.

“Claimme, Shaw.” Drake whispered the words before pulling Shaw back into a kiss and flicking his tongue back and forth.

The move inflamed Shaw and he thrusted hard and fast into his lover’s welcoming body. Drake’s almost continual encouragements spurring Shaw on, as he groaned aloud from the pleasure of it all.

His climax was close, and Shaw blindly felt for Drake’s cock again. The flesh felt every bit as hard as it had just a few moments previously. Shaw stroked to the same frenzied tempo as his hips, squeezing it hard and he came in a flurry of short, deep jabs.

Heat spread through Shaw’s body, engulfing him in hot pleasure. The flames that had been burning within him flared high and took him to level of ecstasy that he had only ever dreamed of before.

While Drake’s body shook with the aftershocks of his second release, Shaw shivered and trembled above him. Shaw broke the kiss and rested his lips against Drake’s throat, before biting and marking Drake as his.

The primitive gesture should have surprised Shaw. He didn’t normally behave that way, but this was different. Drakewas different. He’s mine and I want everyone to see and know he’s been marked and claimed.

Shuffling into a comfortable position, his arms around Drake, Shaw shut his eyes. 5

By the time Nik arrived home, Shaw and Drake had dressed and were sitting with Bron, whose knowing smile no longer unnerved Shaw. Instead whenever he caught Bron’s gaze, he gave him a smile of his own in return.

Nik glanced from Bron to Drake, and finally at Shaw.

“The owners of the key, I take it? Are they Fullbloods?”

“We canspeak for ourselves.” Bron looked up from where he sat sprawled in an armchair, rocking his legs slowly. “Are you a Halfblood?”

“Uh, sorry.” Nik shrugged. “Guess I’m not as cool with this as I thought I would be. I’m Nik, Shaw’s uncle, well, great uncle, and yes, a Halfblood. Patupaiareheis in my bloodline.”

“Really?” Bron looked at Shaw. “Well, I can see why you’d think that, and it may be so. But I would have thought…well, maybe.”

“Thought what, brother?” Drake shifted slightly from where he leaned comfortably against Shaw’s side, and Shaw couldn’t help but tighten his hold around Drake’s waist to keep him close.

“Doesn’t matter.” Bron shrugged. “You know what bloodlines are like.”

Drake gave a non-committal grunt and settled more heavily against Shaw.

“What now?” Nik asked as he sat down.

“We need to get back. As quickly as possible.” Bron moved to sit upright. “Get the key safe and stop any invasion into our world.”

“Your world?” Shaw looked down at Drake. “I thought you were saving usfrom an invasion.”

“Not at all. We’re not trying to keep our kind from invading your world.” Drake shook his head.

“You’re not?” Shaw couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “But you were tortured and didn’t break to keep the key safe.

“Well, yes I was, and yes I did. And in part to ensure I kept you safe. But we guard the key for quite the opposite reason. In fact, we’re trying to stop a Halfblood-led invasion into our world. Earth has grown increasingly toxic. Most of our kind prefer to remain within our own realm. Earth is almost like a legend to many of them.”

The irony made Shaw snicker. “Just like we think you’re just myths and legends.”

“Exactly. Those who do visit lament at the way it’s being destroyed. The merfolk and forest-dwellers still try their best. They slip back and forth, trying to influence those who want to save your world. It seems to be a losing battle.”

“But, why would anyone invade yourworld?” Shaw asked.
