CHAPTER 70

The dawn greeted a man in his old age, but with a very strong temper, a man that many feared because his pulse did not tremble to disappear from the face of the earth anyone who dared to confront him.

That man was Antonni Lombardi who had planned to pay a visit to his ex-grandson Luiggi, at the request of his beloved great-granddaughter Jenna he would talk or if possible demand that Luiggi not threaten the integrity of Amanda who was now a person dear and protected by him.

He ordered the driver to go to the prison where Luiggi was, when he arrived he got out of his luxurious car and went inside to talk to the administrator there so he could talk to one of his inmates, he was taken to the warden who welcomed him because he knew him, they talked for a long time and when his request was accepted, he went to the visiting room and a guard was assigned to tell the inmate Luiggi Lombardi that he had a visitor.

As Antonni sat down to wait for who he was going to visit, the guard arrived at Bronson's cell where Luiggi was asleep, knocked loudly and was greeted by a claim.

"What the fuck Patrick, can't you see my little love is asleep?"

The guard looked at the bed where a sleeping blond man was hugging one of Bronson's legs, but he went with an errand and spoke resolutely.

"He has a visitor I hear it's his grandfather coming to talk to him."

Bronson watched him strangely he knew very well that he had withdrawn all his support to his grandson, but now he was coming to talk to his sweetheart, he called him to wake up Luiggi complained because he was very sleepy, but he moved him again getting him to wake up.

"What's wrong?" To which Bronson commented.

"Your grandfather is coming to see you" Luiggi woke up immediately and asked.

"I don't have a grandfather, let him go back where he came from, Bronson."

But the mastodon was not going to be left in doubt and ordered him loudly.

"You must go so you know what he wants and if you hate it so much just tell him, if you want I'll go with you love."

He liked that possibility, he got up and shook hands with his partner and they went to the visiting room, no one would make fun of him anymore if they saw him holding hands, they also feared him because they knew that Bronson's gorilla was capable of destroying anyone who even came close to his partner.

Arriving at the door there I spot Antonni sitting with his back turned, I look at Bronson and clarify.

"I'm going alone, but stay here in case I call you, love."

He walked with the confidence he now possessed, he was no longer the scared man who entered the prison without anyone's support, now he was one of those who commanded the prison, he arrived next to Antonni and greeted coldly.

"Good morning Mr. Lombardi, to what do you owe your worthy visit in this paradise of the condemned?"

Antonni fixed his gaze on Luiggi, he looked different, he was another he spoke with supreme coldness but he just spoke.

"Luiggi I only come to ask you to desist from bothering Amanda, she is no longer your wife, she is going to marry the man she loves."

Luiggi's thunderous laughter was heard and he answered.

"Now he's the gentleman savior of women in danger? How funny, the great Antonni Lombardi taking care of women hahahaha."

Antonni felt mocked and raised his demanding voice.

"Watch your mouth Luiggi, you are talking to your grandfather."

Those words made Luiggi react with fury as he shouted at him.

"Grandfather? Which grandfather? I don't have a grandfather those were his words as I remember and he is nobody to demand anything from me, now I decide about my life and what I do, because I had nobody to protect me when I came here, I suffered like I never thought, they took me as a whore, they raped me, they beat me, but now I have someone who takes care of me, who protects me, who loves me and wants to see me happy and what did you do? Leave me alone, you even forbade Carlo to visit me".

Antonni stood up, imposing his patriarchal bearing of the Lombardi clan and threatened.

"Luiggi I only came to warn you that if you do anything against Amanda you will suffer the consequences."

Brandon, upon glimpsing what was happening, entered determined to defend his sweetheart, stood before Antonni, twice his height and girth, and spoke threateningly.

"Neither you nor anyone else threatens my love, that's why I'm here, to protect him".

Antonni noticed he was a giant troglodyte smiled and added.

"Oh, this is your husband Luiggi, hahahaha, I can see that you like getting your ass fucked no wonder you think you are so much, you know what I am capable of, you will have whatever you want in here, but outside I am the owner of everything so be careful, because if I find out that you touch a hair to Amanda what happened to you here will be nothing with what I do to you."

Luiggi burned as he was hurt from what he suffered he shouted angrily.

"You don't know what I suffered here, you don't know anything, I don't care about anything so save your threats for whoever wants to hear them, for me you are dead, I have no grandfather you are a stranger to me and I will do whatever I want with whoever I want, I will collect everything they have done to me".

Enraged Antonni approached him to whisper in his ear so that no one else would hear.

"From the moment you step outside the prison consider yourself a dead man, because I will put a price on your head Luiggi, you know me that I never threaten for the sake of it".

Hearing those words from his grandfather's mouth that instead of protecting him who is his grandson he does it for other people, he even threatens to kill him his soul broke into a thousand pieces, but he held on and shouted at him.

"From the moment you denied me you are dead to me, Antoni Lombardi. Dead, do you understand? And keep your threats in your ass, you fucking old shit, get the fuck out of here, you only came here to make fun of me, but I swear you'll pay for it, you old decrepit asshole".

Bronson grabbed him in weight shouting.

"Shut up Luiggi, that's enough, let's get out of here."

"Let me go, I want to scream at him how much I hate him, for him I almost died, let me go, let me go."

Antonni stood watching how that giant of a man carried Luiggi in his arms, he understood that it was not a good idea to go and talk to him, because he was full of hate, but he thought he would never get out of there, he left with his head held high, but when he got into the car a tear slipped down his cheek, because Luiggi was no longer who he knew affectionate with his grandfather, he was happy when he saw him now he hated him to death, he had even threatened him.

As the Lombardi patriarch moved farther and farther away Luiggi snorted with impotence and contained rage and shouted with fury.

"Son of a bitch, he only came to threaten me, he didn't even ask me if I was ok or needed anything, he only came to fuck with me and ban me as if he had some power over me, well he is wrong, he lost it that day when he took his support from me and told me that I wasn't his grandson."

In another place Mack and Jenna were on their way to the clinic for the babies' check-up, the doctor examined her, checked her belly and gave them the information that they were fine, but that Jenna should be protected from strong emotions for the sake of her health.

The months passed almost without feeling them in the middle of business, business meetings and the wedding of Amanda and Oliver that was the weekend, everyone was ready, Antonni had consolidated the relationship with Alice and had already proposed to be engaged and she had accepted it to the delight of everyone who knew Alice, even Carlo was very happy to see his grandfather smiling and his mood had changed and he was no longer so grumpy, because love had made him change in a good way.

Oliver was at the altar waiting for his future wife to enter through the threshold of the cathedral, when she appeared on the arm of the patriarch Lombardi, since she did not have her parents, he supplied them, she was beautiful in that wedding dress, the groom could see the enormous love for her, when they were close Oliver offered her his hand to turn around and they were both in front of the priest.

The ceremony was normal without interruptions of any kind, until the priest pronounced the words "I declare you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride".

The couple kissed amidst applause from everyone present. Mark and Jenna were the groomsmen even though Jenna had a very pronounced pregnancy since she was very close to giving birth.

At the reception everything was happiness, friends and family danced to the music, it was beautiful to see Alice dancing very close to her beloved boyfriend Antonni Lombardi, Loretta with Ralph, John with his wife and everyone else, until the bride and groom said goodbye to go on their honeymoon.

A few weeks passed and Mark returned home very happy because he had closed a deal of several million dollars and the first person he wanted to give that great news was his wife, he happily entered the mansion, went straight to the kitchen because she was an exceptional chef and had promised him a spectacular dinner, a dinner prepared by herself.

Marck was very delicate with her, he helped her to undress, to take a bath and to go to bed with great care because the delivery was very close, every night he kissed his beloved's belly saying some sweet words to their unborn babies.

"My treasures are already close to being in our arms, my little ones, I love you as I love your beautiful mother, we will always be there for you my loves".

They kissed each other until they were fed up and then they surrendered to the arms of Morpheus and slept deeply and peacefully.

When dawn broke everyone got up for their daily lives, but when they turned on the television a news made everyone's heart jump with worry, they had discovered that some inmates escaped from the prison, investigations are underway to find out who the accomplices are and how they were able to circumvent the security and when they gave the list of the escapees a scream was heard.

"Oh my God, it's not possible, my love please call my grandfather, quickly, tell him what is happening we have to protect Amanda and Oliver, please".

Marck dialed Antonni's cell phone number and passed it to Jenna.

"Ala who is this?"

"Ala, grandpa, it's Jenna."

"My love how are you?"

"Grandpa for God's sake, something really bad happened."

"What happened daughter? Please tell me."

"Grandpa my father escaped from jail along with other inmates."

Antonni paled like never before when he heard that grim news he shouted very loudly.

"No, my God, I'm going to warn Amanda my child. Don't worry we are going to protect them."

"Thank you, grandpa, I'm so scared for them."

"Calm down my child this leave it in my hands. I will not let him hurt them; I promise.

"Thank you, grandpa."

As I close the call I scream in rage.

"Damn it this is not right; this is not right at all."

He called his right hand man giving him the mission to track Luiggi to follow his steps to protect Amanda and if he can apprehend him and not return him to prison but to exercise Lombardi justice, he ordered others of his men to surround Amanda's mansion for her safety.

Amanda and Oliver were asleep still oblivious to all the danger they were in at that moment, Lombardi's guards arrived for the couple's safety, while the patriarch went in another car to talk to them and plan how to protect them.

All was well in the relationship of Mark and Jenna, he happy because the birth of their children was very close, but the darkness is much closer because a monster who should never have escaped from prison, the damned Luiggi Lombardi, is free.
