“We should divorce Arthur,” Emily said.

Arthur looked at her with a blank expression. He had no idea what to reply to that. He knew he has to divorce Emily if he wants to pursue a relationship with Ethan but the words coming from Emily had his tongue tied.

“We should really get a divorce, Arthur. You don’t love me-“

He cut her words short, “I love you Emily. Just not the way you want me to,” he moved forward and got on his knees in front of Emily.

She no longer controlled her tears. She let it flow down her face. She heard Arthur say that he loves her not just the way she wants him to. That was true, Arthur had always made sure she felt loved and cared for. Never once did he treat her badly. He had always given respect to her and held her high as a wife.

“I know. I know you love me. But you... But... Ethan is the love of your life. You should be with him,” she said.

They fall silent for a moment. Despite her doubts, Emily had kept mum and never asked Arthur anything. But now, she wanted to know more. She had noticed the change in Arthur’s behavior throughout their vacation and she could barely control herself from asking him if he loves Ethan.

“Why did you not tell me before?” she asked him softly.

“I did not get the chance to.”

“We have married Arthur. You could have told him in any of the occasions we were alone before marriage.”

“My father blackmailed me to disown me and throw me out of the house. My mom was sick at the time and I did not want to lose her,”

Emily had fresh tears flowing through her cheeks. Her heart went out for him as much as he had hurt her by hiding his secret.

“I am sorry. I really am sorry. Please forgive me for ruining your life,” he said.

“No, Arthur. You did not ruin it. It was beautiful. I really loved being your wife. But it is time that we get divorced. You love Ethan. He is a wonderful man. You should be with him. I will continue to love you, Arthur. Don’t worry we can find a solution to whatever you decide to do about work later. I will always support you.”

“I love you too, Emily, ”Arthur moved closer and hugged her tightly which she returned. They stay still until their daughter interrupted them.

“I also love you both,” they smile and open their arms for her. They share a family hug.

After talking with Emily, Arthur came to Liam’s house to meet him. After all, he was the one who helped Arthur with the information of the hitman. Thankfully, his mother warned off her husband to take back his troop from Arthur’s behind.

“What up?” Liam said coming down the stairs.

“I spilled everything to everyone,” Arthur said leaning onto the couch.

“Oh… you seem free now,” Liam said grinning. He walked into the kitchen and grabbed two beers and came back to the living room.

“Yeah, I feel free of mind, despite the pain I caused to Emily,”

Liam handed the beer can to him and sat down, “So, what did she say? What is your plan next?”

“She said that we have to get a divorce and I have to be with Ethan. And for my parents, I told my mom everything and she warned off my father to get back his people and my work…”

“What happened?”

“I will resign and start from scratch but don’t know where and how,”

Liam nodded his head in understanding, “You know, I will always be there for you.”

“Yes, thanks a lot, Liam. This means a lot to me,” Arthur said smiling.

“Now, get to work and help me with Vanessa,” Liam said.

“Oh, boy. Definitely.”

Arthur’s next stop was direct to Paris. Ethan had been to Paris for a photoshoot after Arthur’s vacation.

Arthur had got Ethan’s location from Liza and flew down to meet him. Right now, he was walking through the corridor of the hotel that Ethan was staying at.

Arthur stood in front of the room door. He left out a huge sigh. Their love began when Ethan walked inside his dorm room. Now next level of their love begins with Arthur walking inside his room.

He knocked on the door and Ethan opened it. He was wearing a towel as he had freshly showered. He is shocked and excited to see Arthur at his door step.

“Let’s get married, Ethan.”
