“Umm, Mom, you join the kids in the second car; Susan and I will ride in the fourth car,” Martina said when they reached the driveway where a line of cars waited.
“But Jade, your ride is the third car?” Mrs. Collins said.
“I know, Mom, but I want to switch.”
Mrs. Collins hesitated before nodding.
“Be careful; today is your best day,” Mrs. Collins said and walked toward the car.

At the church, the moment Trey stepped out of the car, his eyes swept across the church grounds, scanning the strategic positions of his men.
He keyed the mic discreetly nestled in his ear and asked in a low, commanding voice,
"All set?"
And in perfect unison, his men responded,
"Yes, boss."
"Good. Report any suspicious activities directly to me. Do you all copy?" Trey instructed, to which his men confirmed,
"Yes, boss!"
Satisfied, he turned to Antonio, who was just finishing up a phone call, and inquired,
“What's the update?"
"They left the villa a few minutes ago," Antonio informed. Trey acknowledges the information with a nod.
Just then, the reverend approached, offering a slight bow before extending a welcoming gesture.
"Welcome, sir, if you may," the reverend said, motioning towards the entrance with a graceful gesture of his hand.
Trey acknowledged the gesture and followed the reverend, with Antonio and Diego trailing behind him.

As the line of cars Martina was in made its way towards the church, it entered a desolate, isolated section of the road.
As they rounded a bend at a T-junction, they were suddenly faced with an unexpected obstacle.
Out of nowhere, a woman in a wheelchair with a black veil covering her head, like a wedding veil, appeared on the road, directly in front of the car Martina was traveling in.
The driver, caught off guard, had to forcefully hit the brakes to avoid hitting her.
The sudden halt lurched Martina and Susan forward in their seats. Exclaiming in frustration, the driver cursed.
“Damn it!”
Startled by the incident, Susan clutched her baby bump protectively and muttered,
“What in the world was that!”
Concerned, Martina lifted her wedding veil and asked,
"Are you okay, Susan?"
Managing a reassuring smile, Susan replied,
"I'm fine. Are you?"
"Yeah, I'm good," Martina reassured.
"Is everything okay?" Brad, who was in the car ahead of theirs, asked through the earpiece on noticing that the car the madam was riding had come to a stop.
The driver, with a hint of concern in his voice, replied,
"Yeah, we are fine. It's just a woman in a wheelchair."
Brad acknowledged the response and ended the call. He then instructed his own driver to stop the car.
"I'm going to join the madam's car. You go ahead." The driver nodded, stopping the car, and Brad stepped out as it drove off, and he made his way toward Martina's car.
"Go help her off the road." Martina instructed the driver, and the driver acknowledged her command.
“Yes, madam.”
He unbuckled his seat belt and stepped out of the car to go assist the woman in the wheelchair.
However, as the driver approached the woman in the wheelchair, in a swift motion he was shot in the head with a sniper rifle, and his limp body instantly dropped to the ground with blood oozing out of his head.
“Shit! The madam's car is under attack!” Brad yelled into the earpiece to alert the other bodyguards in the car he was driving in, taking cover as he searched for the sniper.
Martina's heart skipped a beat when she saw her driver's lifeless body fall to the ground. She realized she was in the middle of an ambush.
“Damn it, it's an ambush. Whoever it is, he or she is aware I'm in this car instead,” Martina said as she frantically jumped into the driver's seat to escape the trap, but her eyes widened in shock as she got a closer look at the woman in the wheelchair.
The woman turned to face Martina as a gust of wind blew off her black veil, revealing her face.
“Valerie?!” Martina furiously exclaimed.
The way that bitch had blocked the exact car she was riding in meant only one thing: Valerie must have had an informant in the villa who had tipped her off about her choice of transportation, that she wasn't riding in her supposed car.
Martina seethed with anger at the disloyalty, also cursing Valerie in her thoughts.
Feeling the surge of anger through her, without hesitation, she stepped on the accelerator to speed toward Valerie, determined to put an end to this cat-and-mouse game once and for all.
However, as the car was about to move, a white van out of nowhere suddenly crashed into the passenger side of Martina's car, causing her to hit her forehead on the steering wheel, resulting in dizziness.
“Susan, are you okay?” Martina managed to ask, but before she could get a response from Susan, the car door was opened, and she was pulled out and struck on her nape, making her lose consciousness.

“Wake her up,” Valerie said to one of her men.
He nodded and fetched a bucket of cold water and threw it on Martina's face.
Martina's eyes shot open as she was jolted awake from the cold, the wet sensation enveloping her.
She blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision, and as she focused, she found herself face-to-face with the person she despised the most.
"Valerie! You devious woman! What is the meaning of this?!" Martina's voice was icy as she glared at Valerie. But Valerie just smirked and replied,
"Hello, cousin. I'm sorry, but since you chose not to invite me to your wedding, I thought I'd bring the wedding to me. After all, with that, I wouldn't need an invitation."
"You're out of your mind. Did you seriously think I'd invite a lunatic like you to my wedding?" Martina said as her gaze fell upon the wheelchair in which Valerie was sitting.
‘Why was she still seated in a wheelchair? She had thought Valerie was using it because she wanted to create a decoy, but she, still sitting in the wheelchair, meant something, Martina thought.
As she pondered over the thought that Valerie might be physically disabled, she examined the surroundings she was being held captive in and noticed there were eight men inside, and the place seemed to be an old abandoned warehouse, but she suspected there were more men outside.
If Valerie was indeed disabled, that could work to her advantage, providing an opportunity for escape.
With this in mind, she devised a plan to provoke Valerie and uncover the truth about her confinement.
"I knew you wouldn’t invite me, so…" Valerie began, but her words were cut off by Martina.
"Shut up, Valerie. I'm sick and tired of your endless chatter. Just tell me what you want to do to me this time."
Martina's frustration was evident in her voice. Valerie pointed her finger at her angrily as she retorted.
"You have no right to speak to me like that. I'm the boss here, and you…"
but Martina interrupted her again, saying,
"Blah, blah, blah, nothing sensible, only trash. It's boring. Why don't you tell me why you are sitting in a wheelchair instead? Did your karma finally catch up to you?" Martina taunted, raising an eyebrow mockingly.
"You bitch!” Valerie said vexedly, wishing she could stand up and slap Martina across her beautifully made face and leave a permanent mark, but sadly she can't.
“Your fucking husband did this to me. His deranged assailant left me for dead, with damn knives stuck in each of my legs. I went through excruciating pain for days! And now I can never walk again!" Valerie seethed with hatred and anger as she spoke every word.
"Now, I will have my revenge by taking away his most prized possession… His precious Jade," she added, her eyes burning with vengeful determination, and turned to her men and said,
“How do you think Trey will feel when he sees a superheated video of his naked Jade serving my horny men?”
They nodded, smirking menacingly.
