First day at school

“ Oh ! God Rinna what the fucking hell am l going to do ? “ , Stranded , l groaned out loudly before pulling out my phone out of my Diddy bag. “ Should l call him or text him “ , l contemplated while staring at the screen of my phone . “ But then what the f**k am l going to text to him ? “ , While scrolling through my messages , l kept asking myself inwardly .

“ Rinna just forget about it “ , Making up a final decision , l decided to forget about Axel and text Xenia .

RINNA.

“ Xenia , what’s up now sweetie ? “ , I typed it then sent it .

XENIA .

“ Oh ! God Rinna come back at home and revive me , am this side lonely , anyway are you going to spend a night with your dad ? “ , She replied back quickly .

RINNA .

“ No he is not going to stay but l found him already seated in the house “ , I texted back . .

XENIA

“ Oh ! Girl just wait and see “ , She replied with a funny emoji.

XENIA :

“ Ohh ! I get you but you used to it just like us and mum , anyway tomorrow is going to be awesome “ , I read her message and a look of confusion immediately formed up on my face . . .

RINNA :

“ How so ? , I had thought that our freedom is gone “ , l texted back .

XENIA :

“ Oh ! No Rinna we are now officially seniors , we gonna rake in those poor perks “ , Again my mouth fall open at her message . . .

RINNA :

“ Perks ? “ , I questioned .

XENIA :

“ Oh girl just wait and see “ , She texted back .

RINNA :

“ Alright sweetie “ , l texted back before locking up my phone.. “ Perhaps she is planning something special “ , I mumbled to myself before throwing up my phone on the pillow . . . I knew everything when it came to Xenia .

With my phone down on the pillow , l made my way down the stairs . I was used to this life , always alone in the house . My father was always away and yet Mickie didn’t want to stay at home .

After making my way down the stairs , l made myself a microwave dinner and then sat down on the sofa after placing the plate of food down on the table . With in the next couple of minutes , l ate my food slowly while watching some Korean drama in series . It was a bit interesting and l was all engrossed in it .

I was lost in my thoughts when l lastly heard my phone buzz with the message .

MICKIE :

“ Rinna darling am coming back with in a few seconds “ , After reading it , l only rolled my eyes before placing my phone back on the sofa . His presence or absence didn’t change anything in my life .

RINNA’S POV .

After ignoring my brother’s message , l went on with watching the Korean drama until when l heard my phone buzz with another message .

AXEL :

“ Hey beautiful , Xenia has just told me that your dad isn’t going to stay at home , if you need me just text me “ , As soon as l read the message , l felt the butterflies build up in my stomach . It was just a simple message but there is a way , l fucking felt and with a smile l stared at the message for a pretty good time .

“ After staring at it for a pretty good time , l found myself at loss of words to text back . So l just placed it in my pocket and after turning off the television , l made my way slowly to my bedroom where l slumped down on the bed . . . .

• * * NEXT MORNING * *

I woke up at the sound of what I thought was my fucking alarm . However still in the sleeping mode , l

felt some one tapping on my face . “ Alarms don’t fucking tap and l didn’t remember setting it up “ , With my eyes still closed up , l Wondered . “ Then if might be my hellish old brother “ , I replied to myself while shaking my head .

“ Wakie , wakie up “ , As soon as I heard some one whisper in my eye , l instantly sat up only to come face to face with no body else but Xenia . . “ Again you Xenia “ , l gasped out loudly before l pulled up the covers to my chest and also rubbed my eyes . “ Good morning , sleeping puppy “ , She chimed in happily and when I pouted my lips ,she laughed out before pulling the blanket away from my body .

“ First day of senior year , get up ! “ , She instructed in a serious voice . “ I know it of course “ , Groaning out , l grabbed her t shirt reached out for her hand and then stood up . “ It’s too fucking early for heaven’s sake , what time is it even ? , And where the hell is Mickie ? “ , Still rubbing my eyes , l asked while trying my level best to stop myself from staggering.

“ It’s 6 : 45 am “ , She replied before making her way to my closet . “ 6 : 45 ! , Why the blooming hell have you decided to wake me up and yet you know l do like sleeping “ , l blurted out . She didn’t respond sooner but while still laughing , she ripped clothes from my closet and then threw them at me .

“ Xenia….’ , l screamed out while watching at the way , she was disorganizing my stuff . “ I know it , l know it Rinna we don’t have to be at school until when it is 8 ; 30 am but l want us to first grab coffee and breakfast , lol , ! You know it that we finally seniors and we can do whatever we do want “ , She blurted out happily while throwing the last clothes on my bed and also made my way to the side of my shoes and then began to rummage through them .

“ Xenia you really undescribable “ , With the way my room was currently disorganized , l shook my head in disbelief . Just because we were now seniors , she wanted us to do whatever we blooming wanted , she was happy and excited checking through my different sneakers . “ Anyway Rinna if you do want , we can still walk with the coffee at school . You know it , we are seniors “ , She blurted out excitedly and after giving her a slight nod , shr turned back to the shoes .

“ Let me go take a shower “ , l mumbled before making my way to the bathroom . While in the bathroom , l washed my self quickly and just with in a few minutes , l was out of the bathroom . “ Done picking up your outfit Rinna “ , Xenia mumbled while putting back the other clothes in my closet .

“ Thanks “ , l replied while drying up my hair . With her seated on the bed , l began putting on the outfit she had picked up for me . . It was a high waist blue denim jeans pants , a white crop top that was backless with nothing but criss cross straps covering my back . “ Hell no am not going to blooming wear this “ , I rolled my eyes after putting on the whole outfit .

“ Xenia l can’t wear a backless top at school “ , l groaned out while checking out myself in the mirror . “ We do have to match Rinna “ , She waved me off before she stood up , removed her jacket from her body and then showed me her back and just like me it was all backless and a blue high waist denim jean pants.

“ God Xenia you really Uhmm …. “ , I shook my head after checking out her outfit . “ Yes it’s me just follow me “ , She replied stubbornly and before I could respond to her , she squealed before running downstairs while listing off our itinerary for our first day . Left alone , l picked up the books needed for the day and a leather jacket that she had prepared for me .

“ Ready “ , l shouted out while running out of my room . “ Mickie left again for work , so let’s go “ , Xenia mumbled before getting the bag from my hand and with that we hurriedly made our car to the car . “ So are you ready ? “ , After sitting down in driver’s seat , Xenia asked me with a wide smile on her face .
