Chapter 13 Little Kids

It sucks because lately, Pearce wakes up too early or he can't sleep well because a lot of things are bothering him. First, about the princess of their nation and her relationship with the ice prince, now the naughty electric princess is added.

And also…

“You know what I mean.”

…those words have been circulating in his mind since yesterday. He doesn't know why he is affected by everything that is happening to him?

Knock, knock.

He got up immediately when he heard what was waiting for him. When he opened the door, he was slightly surprised at the person in front of him.

“Ah Pearce. I'm sorry did I disturb you in your sleep?” a maid asked him.

He didn’t answer… because he knew in himself that he has a tour today and he hasn't changed yet because he doesn’t know what place to go next. But last of all… why is a maid that is in front of him right now?

“Sorry ah. They said I should be early when I tour you—“

"You will guide me?" Pearce asked in astonishment.

“Uhm you mean tour guide? If that is it, yes I will be your tour guide,” she replied.

“A maid? The princess is not here?” Pearce asked.

“Huh? I am the—"

Before she could continue what she was going to say, she first looked at what she’s wearing and it took a few minutes before she realized what the visitor meant.

“Oh my gosh! I forgot to change earlier! Great. Why are you thinking a lot Donna?!” she said, talking to herself.

And because of what he heard, Pearce realizes that the maid right in front of him is the princess.

“Just a moment, just wait there hah. I’ll just change and then I will return immediately,” and she hurriedly ran away until she disappeared from Pearce's sight.

Good thing because Pearce is not dressed yet too. And at least now he has time. He immediately went to his CR to do what had to be done.

Knock, knock, knock!

Right at that moment, Pearce is done so he immediately opens the door and now, he sees Donna right in front of him again who is now panting with fatigue. She really looks like she went in a hurry.

"Huff huff… just a moment… huff… whooh… huff…" as she catches her breath.

Pearce just left the room while waiting for the princess.

"Whooh…" she sighed deeply. “Okay. So let's start the tour? Hehe,” Donna smiled.

Pearce nodded in response.

Again, they walked out of the Main Cabin but Pearce noticed a different direction. They were outside once they reached the front of a cave entrance. The princess stopped in front of it but Pearce continued to enter the cave.

"Just a moment Pearce," Donna stopped him and it was good that the visitor was listening so he stopped and looked at the princess. “Come here first. You have to wear something before you enter.”

Pearce just stared at her for a few minutes before thinking of approaching her. If you don't know, Pearce has a "thing" for caves… and he doesn’t know why. When he approached the princess,

"Here," Donna immediately handed him a paper bag. Pearce took it and looked inside at the same time.

Surprised, Pearce looked at what she was holding before giving the princess a look.

“You need to wear a wig when you enter our cabin. It looks like a disguise because people here really know that what the color of your hair is, you can be mistaken for a metal guy and that is dangerous,” explained the princess.

When Pearce understood, there was no word that he wore the brown wig.

“Okay. Uhm did I forget anything?” Donna asked herself. Pearce didn’t wait for what the princess would say next and he himself entered the cave first.

"Hey wait ah Pearce."

They also reached the end of the cave and Pearce looked around the cabin.

“Okay. Welcome to Earth Cabin Pearce,” Donna greeted happily.

Pearce knows that almost all the cabins he went to, this is probably the simplest because the only strange thing is that almost everything he sees is made of stone. He sees plants because he knows they need them too but there are no trees. Sometimes he even went to a nearby house just to look at the roof. He was just making sure that their roof was really made of stone… and his question was also answered.

"Looks like you want us to enter the house ah," Donna said to him.

The visitor didn’t say a word.

"Our belongings are mostly made of stone; cabinets, tables, chairs, appliances, even our beds are made of stone."

Pearce looked at the princess not long after he heard that.

"A stone bed?" Pearce's assurance.

"Yes," the princess answered immediately. "You don’t want to believe me, let me show you," Donna walked into the house. Pearce immediately followed because he was captivated by what he heard.

Once they entered, Pearce could not believe that even their refrigerator was made of stone. He didn’t know how that happened but when they got to the bedroom, the princess sat on the bed first.

"That’s where earth people sleep?" Pearce asked.

"Yup," Donna replied.

"How?"

“How? Of course you lie down on it,” was Donna's philosophical answer.

Pearce let out a sigh first. "I mean how do you sleep on a hard bed?"

“Huh, hard? The bed is soft,” replied the princess so Pearce didn’t speak immediately.

He was even wondering and he didn't ask any more questions and he himself sat on the bed just to make sure if their bed was really soft.

…

He did not feel any softness.

"Didn't I tell you?" said the princess.

Pearce just gave her a blank face, stood up and left the room. He knew that sometimes he had numbness but he didn’ think that he was this numb that the softness of the bed he could no longer feel it. Is that how hard his bed is in his room and he is not aware of it?

When they left the house, the princess showed them their important buildings and the princess seemed to know what she was saying and in fact, of all the princesses who became Pearce's tour guide, a veteran is with him now. Pearce is listening and he knows a lot more, especially how hard this place is that even if there is an earthquake, they will not be shaken… but that's it, it looks like something is bothering his mind.

“You know what I mean.”

He even clicked his teeth because it went through his mind again. He should be ignoring it now but why is it still whispering in his mind? He just wanted to listen to the princess so that his mind would be occupied and he could not think of that but it didn’t work. He let out a sigh. What can he do—

He just stopped when a shop caught his attention in no time. He even stared at the sign written above and because of that, no doubt that he immediately entered there.

When he entered, it was not obvious but Pearce's eyes seemed to shine as he looked around the shop. The shop is full of sculptural tools and because of its quantity, Pearce can not choose. As he looked, he took a chisel and looked closely.

"You want to buy that mister?"

Pearce immediately looked next to him with an earth man standing and it looked like he was the one selling it. Pearce was about to answer but he seemed to have forgotten… not only was he in another cabin, he had forgotten he was in another nation and he knew in himself that he didn't have a job so he didn't have any money.

He first looked at the chisel he was holding before he returned around, ignored the salesman and left. He should have really thought of borrowing from the princess before he did that…

…but that's not his only problem. Because when he left the shop, the princess was gone. Even her shadow, he could not see it. He just looked around at people with brown hair.

"I should have told her where I’m going," Pearce whispered to himself and before leaving, he tried his best to remember the shop he entered before he thought of walking to find the princess.

While he was walking in a crowded place, sometimes his eyes darted to other shops he could pass by but when he remembered that he had no money, he would just continue to search.

While searching around, he suddenly collided with an earth guy. He wants to ignore the earth guy and just keep searching even if that is rude… but he really needs to find the princess right away. He’s in a different place… but someone suddenly tapped him on his shoulders so Pearce stopped and faced the person. He is the guy he collided with and if his suspicion is correct, he is also the…

"Is that you, Pearce?" the man asked him.

There is no doubt, he is the earth prince. Pearce was silent and just gave him a stare.

“Is that really you? Why is your hair brown?” he asked.

"Wig," was his simple answer.

“Oh right. I should have known,” Edmondo smiled.

He did find someone but not the princess. That’s okay than him being lost even more. He knew that the prince also knew the ins and outs of here.

"What are you doing here? You know that outsiders are not allowed here,” said Edmondo. “Well unless…”

“Tour. Cabin tour,” replied Pearce.

“Oh okay. So this time it's the Earth Cabin,” Edmondo explained. “Well then, where's Donna? Shouldn't she be the one guiding you around here?” he asked, looking around him to find the princess.

With a blank face Pearce answered, “She's lost.”

Edmondo wondered. “Lost? Donna is lost? ”

Pearce didn’t speak.

“How come? She's your tour guide.”

Pearce shrugged his shoulders as his answer. The truth of the matter is, it is a long story and we know he is not a storyteller.

“That's unusual. If that's the case, I'll lead you to the palace. Maybe she's already there and asking for help from the guards,” Edmondo offered. "Or maybe I can call her."

He took out his phone and was about to dial…

“Pearce? Pearce is that you?!” a voice shouted and because the two heard that, they looked at the caller.

Donna is running towards them and also stops in front of them panting.

"Wait… huff huff…" she gasped. "Whooh…" she sighed and looked Pearce straight in the face. "I've been looking for you everywhere…"

In Donna's appearance, Pearce thought the princess would scold him…

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did they know you were not an earth guy? Are they going to arrest you?” successive questions of the worried princess. "Is this earth guy with you because—"

Donna glimpsed at the person next to Pearce and stopped when she found out who he was.

“Ah— E-Edmondo. I-it's you,” she stuttered while Edmondo gave her back a smile. “I'm sorry. I thought you're an earth guard and will arrest Pearce because he's not an earth guy all because I lose sight of him—“

“Hey, hey calm down Donna. You're panicking again,” Edmondo said, so Donna stopped. "I'm not going to arrest him. Besides I know someday he will be walking around this place. I just didn't know that it was today.”

Donna nodded her head as her reply.

“I'm glad that I was the one who was able to find him. If ever any random earth person did, surely he or she will let us the authorities know and arrest him.”

“Thank you Edmondo. Thank you so much,” Donna thanked.

“No problem. Well then, I'll have my leave. I still have a lot of things to do,” said Edmondo.

“Yes. Please be careful,” Donna answered back.

"I should be the one to say that not only to you Donna…" he gave Pearce a look. “…but also to you as a visitor here.”

"Right," Donna replied while Pearce just nodded his head.

"See you," and he finally left. The two watched him leave until he disappeared from their sight.

"It's good that nothing bad happened to you," Donna said and gave Pearce a look as Pearce looked back at her.

He averted his eyes first (because he was ashamed) and spoke. "I'm sorry," Pearce apologized.

"Oh, it's okay. It's also my fault. I didn't really notice that you were already gone right next to me,” Donna replied.

Pearce still averted his eyes in embarrassment.

"So come on, let's go to the Earth palace," Donna offered and she started walking. "And this time, you should be by my side."

Pearce nodded in response. As they walked, it was good and they passed the shop that Pearce entered and like a while ago, he knew he would be stopped so before that would happen, he immediately stopped the princess by grabbing the back collar of the princess' shirt which surprised Donna.

“Ouch hah Pearce. Why are you suddenly choking me?” Donna complained.

Pearce looked at the shop next to them so Donna also looked. Then, she also looked at her companion.

“So uhm, what do you want to happen? Stare at this shop?” Donna asked.

Pearce looked back at her and he stretched out his hand like asking something from her.

"Can I borrow?" Pearce asked.

Donna looked at his begging hand for a moment and wondered. "What will you borrow from me?"

"Money," Pearce replied, which surprised her.

"Money?" Donna looked back at the shop and gradually understood what the visitor wanted. “Ah okay. How much do you need?”

Pearce thought for a moment and said how much. Fortunately, the kind princess was with him and gave him the amount right away. Pearce immediately went into the shop to buy what he should have bought earlier.

He only bought a chisel and after leaving the shop,

"So, what does that do?" Donna asked.

Pearce looked at her. “Sculpting.”

"Ah you will make a man or animal made of stone?" Donna asked back.

Pearce nodded.

“Ah okay. So that’s your passion,” Donna said. “Edmondo, on the other hand, loves to make clothes and sew. It doesn't seem obvious to him, does it?”

Pearce just looked at the princess in response.

“He is a busy person because of that but lately, he seems to have no time as a prince. Why is that?" Donna said as if she was just talking to herself. "Did you hear that there are rumors that Jessy and him broke up?"

Pearce looked back at her but he immediately averted his eyes and with that action, Donna realized her mistake.

“Oh shacks. Hala! What am I saying?! Did you hear anything, Pearce? Shacks! Whatever you hear, forget about it!” again, she's panicking and Pearce is silent again except he rolled his eyes. She is always worried about what she is doing.

They also arrived at the Earth palace and even in their own palace, everything was still made of colorful stones. When they arrived at the princess' office, the room was also simple but the strange thing was that it was very clean. With its cleanliness, you will be really ashamed to step on its floor lest you get it dirty.

Pearce sat in their hard seat and like his previous tours, they would just rest for a while and wait for the princess to offer to go back to the Main Cabin.

"So…" Donna started when they got back to the Main Cabin. "…where are you going now? Will I still take you to your room?”

"I need to go to the princess' office," Pearce replied.

“Princess? Which princess?” Donna asked back.

Pearce looked at her. "In the office of the princess of this nation."

“Ah, Yani. Okay. Uhm do I still need to deliver you there?”

Pearce was about to answer…

"Donna," when a voice called. Even though only the princess was called, the two looked at the caller and how Pearce hoped he didn't look because he was really shocked to see who. He even looked away because… seeing this prince, he remembered the first thing that happened when he arrived in their nation.

…because he was the first person to get angry at him.

"Donna, I'm glad that I met you here," Aes smiled as he approached Donna.

“Oh, hi Aes. Uhm uhh… nice meeting you here too. Hehe,” Donna stated.

The guest didn’t say a word and just thought of a way to get out of his position. He knew it would just be a problem if they would talk so no more goodbye, he walked away to the princess’ office…

"So, you're here too Pearce," said the prince that Pearce didn’t know why he was stopped when he just said that. He was not called… he just recognized his presence.

"Before you go, I just want to say something."

He didn’t command and he told himself that he would not face the person he is talking to but even though he is numb, sometimes he is not rude and also… he confronted Aes.

…he knew the meaning of his position as a prince and if you didn’t know, he was really scared when the prince pointed a gun right in front of him, even right on his head. He really thought it was the end of those times.

"I know we had a bad start at that time so I want to apologize," began the prince that made Pearce slightly surprised. “I don't know if you forgot about it and just let it go but I want to make things clear between us. I was really frustrated at that time but I know our methods can really panic you so I understood it later on.”

Pearce stared at him because he heard that he was really apologizing to him.

“How I hope you can forgive me for my actions at that time.”

Pearce gave back a blank stare and it took a while before he nodded telling him it's okay.

“Oh… so that's your reply…”

Somehow, after he heard that from him, he felt chills as if he had done something wrong again.

"Well I'm actually relieved," he said this without even a hint of a smile on his face. "But even though that's the case, truth be told, you're still suspicious to me," he bluntly said. “I still don't like you.”

From everything he heard, here, he was not surprised because it's written all over his face. Still wearing a blank stare, he actually didn't mind. He would be even more surprised if the two of them were really okay. Good thing this prince is actually blunt.

"Uhm okay I think you two are done…" Donna added. “So Pearce, we have to go. Uhm I hope you find your way to Yani's office. Hehe,” she said goodbye while pulling the prince.

Pearce watches them go and he sees as if the princess is telling his prince for an unknown reason but when they also disappeared from his sight, he immediately walked to Yani's office.

When Pearce arrived, he opened the door again without knocking but… we know it was a wrong move because when he entered, he stopped for a moment when he recognized the person who was right in front of him. Not Princess Yani… but another princess. And the princess he once told himself he didn't want to see first for now.

He was shocked because when he opened the door, he saw Elesa's face immediately.

"Oh great," Yani sighed. "Even though you know you are welcome here in my office, knock Pearce before you enter."

The visitor didn’t speak because he was staring at another princess.

“But you’re right on time. Come on. Come in,” Yani invited.

After Yani said that, Pearce thought of going in and closing the door.

"I know you and Elesa know each other so I will ask you to do something," said Yani. “If possible, can you please accompany her to bring this package to our orphanage here in the Main Cabin? It’s big and it’s heavy,” Yani explained, to which Pearce was slightly surprised.

'Is she ordering me to accompany this princess?' said Pearce's mind while giving a glimpse at Elesa. Yani noticed the other visitor's gesture.

“So uhm is it okay with you Pearce? Do you not like it?" Yani's assurance.

Pearce can't speak because it seems like the only reason he doesn't want to be with this princess now is so shallow… so what else can he do?

"Okay," a word answered by Pearce.

Yani smiled. “Thank you, Pearce.”

It was an awkward silence as Pearce pushed the cart carrying the big box and the electric princess walking beside him. Pearce tried to focus on the road but he couldn't help but glimpse next to him from time to time. He didn’t know why between them, somehow after what this girl said yesterday, Pearce is uncomfortable around her. But while Pearce was watching her, it looked like he was the only one who felt that way because she looked normal next to him, even smiling as they walked.

He looked straight again and thought about what could be said so that he could not think what he was thinking but he’s not a talkative person so he’s not very good at such things.

"Oh by the way Pearce…" began Elesa, that slightly surprised Pearce before looking at the person next to him. “Thank you for joining me today. It's good that you came earlier.”

Pearce was silent on what the speaker said.

“This is a request from Femme. I don't know if you have ever toured the Water Cabin because she is the water princess. She loves children so she volunteered to manage our orphanage here at Eullenuum Nation. But now she is sick, and I just finished the things inside that box, so while she is resting, I will play with the children first.”

It's good that she is talkative so Pearce just kept listening and kept quiet.

“And also it's good that you are with me. Come with me to play with them ah?” Elesa requested.

Pearce looked at the princess besides him for a moment. Honestly, if he really thinks about that, as much as he wants to, he doesn't want to socialize with children. He didn’t know why but he gets easily annoyed when it comes to naughty children. He will just run out of patience.

And one more thing, with the princess next to him that sometimes acts like a child whom he is running out of patience, what about when he is faced with a real child? And, of course…

"What's in the box?" Pearce asked.

"Ah those… dolls," Elesa replied. "For them."

"And you made them?" he added.

"Yes," she replied.

Pearce glanced at her and also looked at the box in front of him.

‘Is that why she bought a lot during those hours when they went to the shops just for this?' Pearce thought.

When they arrived at the orphanage, a caretaker, a nature girl, took them to the very place where the children were playing. As soon as the door opened, they were immediately greeted by cute children.

“Okay kids, I would all like you to meet one of the princesses here in our nation. Meet Princess Elesa, the princess of the Electric Cabin,” the nature caretaker said.

Elesa waved at them while almost all the girls were amazed at her because she’s a princess.

"And with her, who helped her deliver the package for you, one of Princess Yani's assistant—"

“Oh no. He's not technically Yani's assistant,” Elesa interrupted. “His name is Pearce and uhm…”

She paused but suddenly, a smirk formed on her lips out of the blue and glimpsed at him. "…let's just say that he's very close to her," joked the princess. Pearce gave her back by rolling his eyes at her.

Some kids waved hi to Pearce with their warm smiles while he looked back at them with a blank face but somehow his face scared the children. The princess laughed.

"Why won’t you smile if you have time, Pearce?” she asked him teasingly.

The speaker was silent again.

"Do you like him, princess?" a child suddenly asked and of the two of them, Pearce was surprised by the question.

"Oh yes," Elesa replied, which surprised him even more. "He very much likes the princess."

…Elesa doesn’t seem to get the question.

"Then does that mean that he's your boyfriend, Princess Elesa?" the child asked.

"Well technically—" Elesa has made an answer in her mind but when she heard the question again, she only realized what had happened and looked at the children. She started to blush out of shame.

“Uhm…” she started to stutter. "You see kids what I mean is—"

"He's Princess Elesa's boyfriend!" the children exclaimed.

“No no. He's just a friend. I take back what I said earlier—“

“Princess Elesa and Sir Pearce are sitting on a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!”

It seems that no matter what Elesa says, she will not be heard. Pearce let out a sigh and made his way to the front.

“Children…” just this one word that came out of his mouth somehow stopped the children from chanting and looked at Pearce. “…I am not his boyfriend. She wasn't paying attention to your questions, that's why her mouth slipped and wrong words came out of her mouth.”

Elesa was shocked. "And besides…" Pearce added. “…she has someone she likes.”

The children could not speak because Pearce was so serious in front of them as if he was a teacher who was angry with them while the princess who was being told, instead of breathing out a relief because she was defended by her simple embarrassment, she’s really shocked to hear the last words which her protector said.

That was true and good thing he really clarified it well but she felt something different when she heard that. Is it because of how he said it or because she feels differently?

She was dumbfounded for a moment and just returned to the truth when…

"What, do you have anything else to say?" Pearce asked her. She first looked around for a moment and at the children just looking at her.

"Uhm… so… so who wants to have their new friend?" Elesa's sudden smile and excitement replaced the child's faces with joy just to hear it.

The people inside the orphanage are not ordinary even though they are orphans and Elesa knows that so the sealed box opens itself by the very contents of it and the moving toys made of cloth and thread are opened to them . The children were amazed as the toys walked towards them as if they were really alive. Even though he is not a kid, Pearce is also amazed at what he sees but to everyone seeing it, Pearce is the only one that noticed that the princess is moving her fingers as if the toys have strings but she can not see the strings out of curiosity…

"How do you do that?" Pearce asked the next princess.

Elesa did not look at him but replied, "That's my secret."

Even though Pearce was not satisfied with what he heard, he did not bother to force her. Besides, Pearce sees that she is busy because she is not controlling only one. Almost all the dolls in the box.

Pearce leaned against the wall of the room to wait and observe what was happening rather than interact with the children. He knew they would be scared because of his appearance. How many times has he experienced that?

As he was observing, he noticed a blonde haired boy who looked like an electric boy in a corner, sadly just staring at another child with a new toy.

Of all the things he observed, he was interested in that so he focused on that boy. Pearce had no intention of approaching that boy because he’s not a caring person but only got his attention when the child brought out a thing from behind him. Pearce sees it from his place...

A broken wooden toy. The child just looks at it sadly and tries to fix it but he doesn’t know how. Soon, another child approached him to ask him to take one for himself but he didn’t want to because he wanted what he was holding. Pearce noticed that the children were suddenly teasing him so he could not control himself so there, he approached them.

When he approached them, the children stopped for a moment because they felt a shadow and thought about who it was coming from and when they turned around, they were afraid of what they saw.

Pearce is just giving them his serious face and he has not said anything but the children ran away in fear. Pearce just thought to himself, is my face really that scary?

He looked at the child left behind and he also seemed to be afraid of him because he was trembling and the child seemed to want to say something but he could not speak. He has not yet said anything.

"I'm not going to hurt you," Pearce said, which somehow calmed him down. He kneeled down to have the same level as the boy sitting and he stretched out his hand like he was asking something from him.

"Let me have a look at your toy," he said with sincerity.

The young electric boy was dumbfounded for a moment but he also didn’t doubt and gave Pearce his broken toy. After giving it to him, Pearce looked at the toy for a moment, sat on the floor next to the child and took out the chisel that was just in his pocket.

Even though Elesa was busy playing with the children, from time to time she would look at Pearce to make sure he didn’t escape and she thought that he had run away because he was no longer in his place but she then saw the visitor next to a young boy and is doing something as if he is fixing something. His face was still very serious as he was fixing the toy he was holding as if to make sure he would not commit a mistake.

After engraving the rest of the toy, he stopped and looked around as if looking for something. He first confronted the child and, "Wait here," Pearce simply said, stood up and approached the nature caretaker. He asked her something if they have that and it's good that there is so the caretaker immediately look for that

After giving him the wires, he returned to the toy he was fixing and attached the parts to it with wire. The boy watching him didn’t know that he could also control metal so he immediately inserted the wires into the holes of the toy parts. The boy did not ask and just remained amazed at what Pearce was doing. Even though Pearce was a bit uncomfortable that he was being watched, he still felt inside that as a sculptor, he was happy to see the child's face.

When Pearce finished, he also gave it to the boy and the boy was very happy when he held his newly fixed toy. He even hugged that toy in joy. Pearce was a bit embarrassed and again, even though it’s not obvious on his face, he was really happy to just see the boy's reaction.

"Uhm actually…" Pearce started so he got the child's attention. “…since you can control electricity, you can do this.”

Because the metal parts of the toy's body parts are connected, using electricity, he moved his hands waving at the child which was even more amazing to the child.

“Electricity is a great conductor of metal. Even though you cannot control metal, you can instill electricity in the metal in it to control his body,” Pearce explained but his saliva just seemed to be wasted because the child didn’t understand that because for him, his face was so happy to see his favorite toy moving.

Pearce also stopped and let the boy try to control the toy. He struggled at first but he also gradually learned it. The time was up and the bell rang for their next task and the child still could not master it but he didn’t mind that. He looked at Pearce with a bright smiling face.

“Thank you sir. Thank you for fixing Woodtree. I'll try to learn how to control him but it's all thanks to you that we can now play all day long,” the boy happily said.

"You're welcome," he simply replied.

He waved goodbye to Pearce as the boy ran away in ecstasy. When he disappeared from Pearce's sight, he also looked at where Elesa was and was slightly surprised because the princess was staring at him. Pearce's irritated face returned to him.

"Why?" he asked.

"How?" Elesa whispered that Pearce heard but he didn’t speak because he didn’t get it.

"How did you do that?!" Elesa asked Pearce excitedly as she approached him. “What do you call what you do? You know, like sculpting?! Is that your talent?!”

Pearce didn’t say a word because there she goes again, acting like a child, asking many questions and very persistent… but out of the blue, Pearce smirked.

"That's my secret."

It was good that he answered but Elesa stopped for a moment because of the answer.

“Eeeiii…” she pouted. “Just tell me what you did before. I'm just asking if that's your talent. You can just answer me with a yes or no.”

There it is. It’s already starting so the solution is… he ignored her and walked away straight out of the orphanage.

Hay, good thing it's quiet here in the hallways… but that's what he thought.

"Hey Pearce, wait!"

When he heard that, he started to get nervous and accelerated a little just to get rid of the insistence of the one following him.

Elesa continues to harass him like a child just to answer her worthless questions and Pearce continues to ignore her and when he actually arrives in his room, he even needs to control the electricity so he can quickly enter and close the door.

“Hey Pearce! Come on. Open this door,” Elesa insisted behind the door.

Pearce laid down on the bed because he was tired of running. Even with the noise of her knocking, Pearce still ignored her. She will soon get tired.

…

She stopped so Pearce was really thankful no one was knocking but suddenly…

"All right if you won’t come out there, I will tell Yani that you have a date today!" she threatened.

Pearce was slightly surprised by what he heard but he didn’t move and remained lying on the bed. 'Like she will ever do that' he said to himself.

"Ah I see. You want that hah!” she lastly said before he heard her walk away and there Pearce was really surprised because he is now thinking, 'Will she really do it?'

About a few minutes later, Pearce didn’t expect her to return.

“There. I already told her that you have a date at **** Café around 1 pm. You know, she even seemed to blush when I said that so she immediately said yes. Hmm… what time is it?” Elesa asked.

Pearce looked at the clock for a moment when he heard that but he still told himself that he would not budge.

“You’re still not going to open this huh? Okay, it's up to you. I know you don’t know how to be ashamed. It's okay for Yani to wait there, isn't it?”

Boogsh! Pearce burstly opened his door.

He is a gentleman and the thought that he will make a woman wait, especially she’s the princess of the nation, of course he will really be ashamed so he can’t do anything if the woman in front of him really did that.

He gave the princess a poisonous look because of what she is doing but Elesa wasn’t affected by it because she gave him a grin.

“What, will you say it or not? Because if you say so, I can tell her that it was just a mistake but if not, of course your date will continue,” she said. "I'm good, aren't I?"

Pearce is giving back an irritated face.

She even managed to be proud of what she did.
