Chapter 64 Confession No. 46 : “Hotel Alias” Room 517 – Signed, Miss Mirage
Chapter 64 Confession No. 46 : “Hotel Alias” Room 517 – Signed, Miss Mirage
The Keycard and the Codeword
I didn’t come to the Gloriana Hotel for love.
I came for escape.
The moment I walked through the lobby’s revolving doors, the weight of my real life fell off like a silk robe. In here, I wasn’t Elara Mathis legal consultant, overworked daughter, trauma survivor.
I was Miss Mirage. An alias created purely for desire.
Room 517. A suite booked under a fake name. A ritual sealed with rules.
No real names.
No backstory.
No contact after checkout.
And the man waiting behind the door tonight? He wasn’t my lover.
He was a mystery I had ordered with a codeword.
"Noir."
When the door swung open, he was already in character black dress shirt unbuttoned to the sternum, a tie hanging loose like a noose of temptation. His hair was damp, tousled, like he’d been pacing before I arrived.
He didn’t smile.
He looked at me like hunger personified.
“I’ve been waiting, Miss Mirage,” he said, his voice dark velvet.
“You always do, Mr. Noir.”
And just like that, the game began.
The Velvet Pact
Mr. Noir didn’t kiss me right away.
He simply circled me like a storm around its eye, breathing me in his fingers brushing the hem of my coat, grazing my wrist like a spark dared to catch fire.
“Did you follow the rules?” he asked, his voice low.
I nodded.
“No underwear?” he murmured.
I held his gaze and slowly unfastened the belt on my trench coat. The silk lining fell open, revealing a fitted slip dress in wine red satin and bare beneath.
His jaw flexed. His fingers twitched.
“Good girl.”
Those words. Two syllables, and I was wet.
He stepped behind me, not touching, but close enough that his heat kissed the nape of my neck. “Tonight, Miss Mirage, you are not allowed to speak unless I ask you a question. Nod if you agree.”
I nodded.
He pressed a small, cool object into my hand. A velvet ribbon.
“Whenever you feel overwhelmed, drop this. It’s your safe word. Until then you are mine to command.”
Still silent, I placed the ribbon on the nightstand and turned to face him.
And finally, finally he kissed me.
Not soft. Not gentle.
It was possession wrapped in silk.
His hands slid down to the curve of my hips, squeezing, exploring, lifting me slightly so I had no choice but to wrap my legs around him as he walked us to the wall.
He didn’t take me to the bed not yet.
Against the cool wallpaper, he rolled his hips between mine, grinding until I gasped and bit his shoulder through the fabric. He chuckled darkly, then lifted my slip dress just enough to expose my thighs and
Slap.
A quick spank. Sharp enough to make me flinch. Sweet enough to make me moan.
“Already so responsive,” he whispered. “I’ve missed this. Missed you.”
My eyes widened. That line wasn’t part of the usual game. But he caught himself.
Too late.
We’d slipped.
But then he was on his knees, his mouth between my thighs, his tongue writing sonnets into my skin, reminding me why I returned again and again to Room 517. Why Mr. Noir was more than a game.
He was a drug I didn’t know how to quit.
Mirror play
Room 517 no longer felt like a hotel suite.
It was a stage. A confessional. A cocoon of fantasy spun so tightly, neither of us remembered who we were before stepping in.
Or maybe he did.
Because when he whispered my real name, the world stilled.
My breath caught in my throat. The spell of Mirage the persona I crafted so carefully shattered like glass. I stared at him, chest heaving, pulse racing, suddenly naked in a way no amount of undressing had ever made me feel.
“You how long have you known?”
His hands never left my body. They stayed at my waist, possessive, grounding. “Since the second night. I recognized your laugh first. You tried to mask it, but I knew.”
“You never said anything,” I whispered, trembling now not from fear, but from everything we’d buried.
He leaned in, brushing his lips against my shoulder. “Because I wanted to see who you became when no one called you by the name the world gave you.”
My eyes watered.
I wanted to pretend this was still just an erotic game alias against alias but it had already become something else. The heat between us wasn’t just lust. It was history. Tension. The ache of two people who once had something real and lost it.
He turned me toward the mirror. My reflection was flushed, lips kiss-bruised, eyes glossy. I looked like a woman unraveling from the inside out.
“Do you like what you see?” he asked.
“No,” I breathed. “I love it.”
He picked me up and laid me gently on the bed, untangling the velvet ribbon and kissing the red indent it left around my wrists. Then he hovered above me, his body an impossible mix of restraint and hunger.
This wasn’t just another session.
This was everything.
He started slow, his mouth tracing from my collarbone down to my navel. He paused at my thighs, spreading me with reverence, like I was some kind of holy ritual he’d memorized.
When his tongue found me, it was almost too much. He knew how to touch me exactly how. He alternated between flicks and slow, flat pressure, bringing me right to the edge, then pulling away like he was addicted to the sound of my whimpers.
“I’m not going to let you go easy,” he growled.
Then he slid inside me with a single, commanding thrust.
My nails dug into his back. His pace was deliberate agonizing at first. He wanted to watch me feel it. He whispered every dirty thought in my ear:
“How you used to moan my name in your sleep.”
“How you begged me to leave when it got too intense but never meant it.”
“How I dreamed of you the night you disappeared.”
“I waited for this. Every. Damn. Night.”
The rhythm shifted. His thrusts grew rougher, needier. He sat back on his knees, pulling me into his lap, cradling my hips like a man claiming what was his.
He kept one hand at my throat not choking, just holding, like a leash of control and the other gripping my thigh as I rode him, the sound of skin on skin mixing with our breathless gasps.
When I came, it wasn’t just release it was confession. My body convulsed with it, my voice hoarse from holding in screams.
He followed seconds later, gripping my hips as he came inside me, forehead pressed to mine, both of us shaking.
We collapsed together in the aftermath, tangled in sheets and the weight of unsaid things.
For a long while, we didn’t speak.
Until he murmured, “You never stopped being mine.”
And I replied, “I don’t want to pretend anymore.”
