Jerome Perot and Beth Garcia, both of whom had long since been stunned by the slap Yolanda Taylor had just given Gwen Fox, Jerome Perot reacted first, turning back to his battered best friend.
The palm print on Gwen Fox's right cheek was very clear, so it was obvious that Yolanda Taylor's slap had been extremely forceful.
Jerome Perot raised an eyebrow, and at this time, he couldn't help but make a sarcastic remark, "It's not easy, is it?" Gwen Fox raised her hand and touched her right cheek, inclined her head to look at the doorway that had long since disappeared, and narrowed her eyes slightly.
This Yolanda Taylor, the nerve.
He grunted coldly, didn't answer Jerome Perot's question, turned around and simply walked away.
Beth Garcia reacted at this time and went up to Jerome Perot and tugged on his coat, "Just now, was it Yolanda who slapped Gwen Fox?"
"What else? Is it hard to believe that you have the guts to do that?"
Beth Garcia grabbed his ear, "If you can, do you dare?"
"Ouch! Be nice to your boyfriend, will you?"
Beth Garcia snorted, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry Yolanda!"
Hearing her words, the smile on Jerome Perot's face faded for a few minutes, and he raised his hand to put his arm around her, "Forget it, it's a good thing to look at it from another angle, don't you see that Young Master Anderson is quite fond of Yolanda?"
Beth Garcia thought about it, "You're kinda right too!"
Both of them like Yolanda Taylor, I just don't know if Gwen Fox's brain is cemented in, she can't think of getting engaged to that Xenia Davis!
It was eight o'clock in the evening in Borden City, and the lights were red.
Yolanda Taylor looked out the car window at everything passing by and remembered Gwen Fox's comment, tears seeping out of the corners of her eyes.
She blinked her eyes and looked down at the hand that had just struck Gwen Fox, "Martin Anderson, I've been with him for three years, and everyone around me said that we were the perfect match, and I didn't believe it at first, but more and more it was said and more and more, and I slowly came to believe it. I really thought he would marry me, but I didn't realize that in the end, one sentence about how much money he wanted really put an end to everything."
"If I had been able to keep my heart, wouldn't I be in so much pain now?"
Milton Beale kicked her and hit her, and even if it hurt, it was on the skin and flesh, and it didn't hurt much if you didn't touch it.
But this thorn, Gwen Fox, was stuck in her heart, and even if she didn't touch it, it still hurt vaguely.
Ahead was a red light, the car stopped, Martin Anderson inclined his head to look at her, "Didn't you say two clear?"
Hearing his words, Yolanda Taylor was stunned for a moment, remembering the slap she had just given, "Yes, it's all clear."
But how could such a thing as feelings really be counted so clearly? These days, she had been living a muddled life, unwilling to accept or believe the fact that Gwen Fox didn't want her anymore.
But tonight, Joel Smith, Milton Beale, and that phone call were all telling her that Gwen Fox really didn't want her.
He didn't want her.
When she thought about that fact, Yolanda Taylor felt like those three years were just a dream.
The truth was, it really was just a dream, and she wasn't from their world in the first place.
When Cinderella arrived at twelve o'clock, she had to leave the party and go back to her cramped room to continue to be Cinderella.
No, she's worse than Cinderella. She was forced to leave, and she was kicked out by Gwen Fox herself.
See, Yolanda Taylor, you've been a one-woman show from start to finish.
The neon light from the window hit her face, and the tears refracted the light and glistened for a moment. Martin Anderson saw it, froze, and raised his hand to wipe it off for her, but he heard her say, "Martin Anderson, the light's green."
The green light was on, it was time to go.
